"Coffee Smoothie" made with no ice cream or coffee, since they were "out of ice cream and coffee".....still don't know what that was.
    Raye T.

What the hell is wrong with this place? I ordered a Coffee shake for the first time. I pay for the two items, only to be told seconds later that they ran out of ice cream and make me a coffee smoothie (???) or any other smoothie. I was like "OK, how about a Banana smoothie?"........nope, proceeded to say they were out of bananas/toppings. So I asked "Well, what can I get from the frozen drink menu?".......they kept saying a "Coffee smoothie" and let me know that if I didn't like it, I could get something else. While they were "explaining" this mess, I see a whole big ass tub of vanilla ice cream...........so I said, well I'll just take a Vanilla shake then......they again say "We're out of ice cream." Was I missing something??? I see it right in the cooler. And there are 3 others that ordered shakes right behind me not understanding anything they're saying either. Are you out of toppings or are you out of ice cream??? Also, don't you think it would be wise to let the other staff taking orders that you're out of whatever it is you are out of? I had to get back to work so I grab my salad that it took a long time for the guy to make (and mess up as usual) and tasted the nasty "coffee smoothie" and hurried back to the office.....where I discovered the guy forgot the chicken in my salad. I ordered an Uptown Salad w/Chicken (No Cheese, No Onion). It was nothing buy lettuce, apple, cranberries, walnuts, and 4 grapes...... Every single time I order the same salad I've been ordering for almost 2 years, they either add in what I say to leave out, or they forget something altogether. Today I ordered an Uptown Salad w/Chicken (No Cheese, No Onion). Had to repeat myself 7 times, which is the norm here, so I didn't feel some type of way about it. Needless to say, I'm never going here again.

Jar of HUGE pickles at the counter.

Potbelly's is a good place to come for an inexpensive lunch: for about $7 I ordered the Original Italian, an IBC Root beer, and a HUMUNGO pickle! A pretty good deal if you ask me. I was a little disappointed though with my sandwich. It tasted a little bland and surprising because with all the different Italian meats, I assumed it would have been a little more salty. Good thing I had that pickle! They were even nice enough to cut it into 4 slices, which I shared with my friends. A HUGE pickle almost as big as my sandwich for only $0.99?!!!! WOW. The only other thing I found confusing was that there was a guy that came up to take our order, then we reached the counter and two different people asked us what our sandwich was (one to place condiments in) and then at the checkstand when you paid. I would think there would be an easier way to do this. I just found it a tad annoying. Next time I'm here, I'll be sure to ask for my bread on whole wheat. I totally forgot about that, but the sandwich was already made. Oh well. The white bread was really good though: warm and toasty on the outside and warm and soft on the inside... mmmm.

Good rustic wheat bread. Meatballs lack a little flavor. Not enough marinara sauce.

My Godmother works for McDonald's corporate, so we had the chance to explore the area and try some of the international foods served around the world. My heart remains close to McDonald's because it was my first job as a teenager, working at a corporate McDonald's where I learned about food service and presentation, as well as the importance of customer service. Today, I experienced this McDonald's location as a customer, and all I can say is that the place was spotless, the ambiance was welcoming, and it didn't feel like a typical fast-food place. The staff looked presentable, and the General Manager was walking around greeting everyone and ensuring everything was running smoothly. She came to our table and greeted us. The service was quick and efficient. We tried the McPops, which are soft dough mini donuts filled with Biscoff, hazelnut, or mixed berries. If you like munchkins, you will absolutely love the McPops. The dough was airy, the filling flavorful, and the powdered sugar gave a nice finish. These McPops are only available in Canada, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, and at the unique McDonald's at the headquarters in Chicago. I would definitely travel again just for these! My favorite was between hazelnut and Biscoff; I kept tasting each and mixing the flavors, almost like a Reese's combination. Additionally, I tried their McShaker Fries from Hong Kong smoky BBQ flavor, which came with a BBQ powder pack and a bag to add the fries to season and give them a shake to season them perfectly. Because the fries were hot, the BBQ flavor was a plus; it wasn't spicy, just very savory. We also had some pancakes, which are hands down the best pancakes of any fast-food restaurant; I can't resist having a plate of hotcakes. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were a 10/10. Thank you, McDonald's, for a full 360-degree experience. Loyal customer.

The restaurant itself is modern, spacious, and cleaner than a typical McDonald's, which made for a comfortable visit. That said, the experience didn't quite live up to the hype. While it was fun to see the rotating international menu, it still felt like a regular McDonald's overall. The selection wasn't as extensive as I expected, and depending on when you visit, the item you're hoping to try may not be available. I'm glad I stopped by to check it out, but it's probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. Overall: 3 stars. A neat concept for first-time visitors, but more of a novelty than a must-see destination.

A LOCAL CLASSIC! I…read moreloved this spot so much I ended up coming back twice. It has that classic late night comfort food vibe and feels like one of those staple spots you have to try at least once. First night I ordered a polish hot dog with everything on it and a fish sandwich w/ extra grilled onions. Super cool that your order comes with fries and I added a cheese cup both times. In my opinion the fries were mid the first go around, but second time they were better. Definitely tasted better dipped in cheese. They were kinda airy in texture, if that makes sense. Polish hot dog was around a 6.5-7/10 for me. It did taste better warmed up the next day. What I was most obsessed with was the double cheeseburger and fish sandwich! both were easily a 10/10. Super good prices and worth the money. Also, the chile peppers were sooo bomb and hotter than I expected ! I wanted to eat them all, but they were packing some serious heat! The lemon Italian ice is where it's at, make sure to order one! You can also mix it with strawberry, but both times people recommended the lemon and now I see why. The line gets super active and busy past 10-11pm, but during the daytime it's way less crowded. Even when it gets packed the line moves pretty quick. They stay open late and close at 1am which is nice.

Both were nice and hot. Fries were crispy and that first snap into the juicy sausage was worth the trip. No seating, so be prepared to eat in your car and get a bit messy. Also be warned the peppers are legitimately spicy, those serranos had my partner sweating. Glad I tried it, but not something I'd eat all the time, great late night drinking kind of food.
