This was a joke of a BLTA. You are thinking, how could you screw this up. She did. I ordered online and the app defaulted me to a location that is about 15-20 minutes from my home. There is a location 2 minutes from my home. I go in and they told me I ordered from the Sugarland location, not the Missouri City location. My mistake for not paying attention. So I pile back into car and drive to the location that has my prepaid sandwich. When I get there I'm thinking; this is a little light in the weight. This was my first time here and it was completely awful! When I first walked in there was no greeting or direction I kinda just assumed where to go. After I finally figuring out where to order I went ahead and let Kylie know that it was my first time and that I was new to this. She did little to explain to me on what to do and what's good to order she just said she makes the sandwich and that's it. I ordered original provolone with Roast Beef and Skinny Italian then went to the next station. Again I let the lady know I was new to this she simply asked what I would like on my sandwich. I was so excited to come here for lunch today. The guy at the drive thru was so short and cold towards me for absolutely no reason. I asked for red wine vinegar on my sandwich which they did not do. Instead, I ended up dealing with one of the most uncomfortable customer service experiences I've had in a long time. The manager, Tanisha(blonde wig, pulled back), was taking orders through the drive-thru speaker, and from the very start she sounded annoyed at every question I asked about the menu. I work in the service industry myself, and I know what it's like to have tough days. But I also know that you don't take it out on customers. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just placing a simple order after a long shift. When I pulled up to the window, she was already speaking to the next customer with the same attitude. I asked her if she was having a bad day, because her tone toward people made it obvious something was off. She immediately told me she was "fine" multiple times. When I told her that her tone said otherwise and that customers could feel her frustration, she insisted she wasn't talking like that and that I didn't know what I was talking about. At that point, instead of trying to understand or de-escalate, she raised her voice so loudly that the entire staff turned to look. She told me she had been in the industry since she was 16. My response was simple--then you should know better. I ended the conversation and told her I had nothing more to say. She responded with a sarcastic "you too, sir," complete with an eye-squint and attitude. I didn't come there to argue. I came for a sandwich. This was my first time visiting a Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and unfortunately, the experience was far from ideal. I stood in line for 5-6 minutes and was never greeted or acknowledged by any of the staff. When I got to the section where I thought I would be placing my order, the team member just repeated an order to me. I politely let her know I hadn't ordered yet, and she told me that orders are taken at the first station. I explained that no one greeted me or asked what I wanted when I first walked in, so I had to go back in line behind two more people just to place an order. Then at checkout, the employee at the register seemed to rush me out. I even had to ask for my receipt--it wasn't automatically offered. I really like Potbelly's sandwiches because I like their overall taste, the regular bread, and I like their hot peppers. I also like how they cut the sandwiches in half, and it's a good size for the regular for me. My favorite as of now is the chicken salad sandwich. The only small irk is that the cheese isn't always entirely melted. My last sandwich had burnted bread but the surprisingly the cheese was not fully melted either! I also like how they do delivery if it meets $10 and is around in the area. Delivery is ok, but my sandwich is much more colder than when I get it myself. The only thing I am a little iffy about is that the whole staff isn't really wearing masks. On 10/14/23, I ordered two sandwiches from online apps around 1:35 pm and selected pick up through drive through and it instructed me to pick it up around 1:47pm. I entered the drive through around 1:45 and it took me 10-15 minutes to the pick up window. The staff member said you cannot pick up online order from here and that is what his manager told him and I have to go to the store to pick up! Overall it took me round 35-40 minutes to get 2 sandwiches since I entered the drive line and 45-50 minutes from when i orders. This is likely my new favorite sandwich chain. The parking lot is pretty decent sized yet always seems full as this location is really rockin'! Is it their sandwich options? Or their friendly and fast service? Probably both. They have taken my order efficiently each time I've visited and my taste buds are clearly loving the Wreck as a flat. What that means is salami, roast beef, turkey, ham, swiss, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a multigrain flatbread. Now I added hot peppers to it and loved the heat! I was also surprised that it was pretty filling compared to a regular sub despite it being 90 calories less to be exact! The flatbread held up quite well throughout its lifespan, before I gobbled it all up. The cookies are also fantastic with my fave being the chocolate brownie cookie. It's the best of both worlds and I'm not really even a chocolate cake person (do you think I'm crazy or what?) The only reason why I didn't rate it a full five is because of the sticky tables and booth seats. Please make sure they're clean so the next customer can enjoy their visit! A-OK is the perfect way to describe this place. We headed in for a quick weekend lunch. There was a line but it moved very quickly. This was our first time here and felt a little rushed, because once you are in line you need to order when you get to the counter. We ordered, got our food, and paid pretty fast. You order your sandwich and it goes through a toasting conveyor belt and by the time you move forward in the line, it's ready for you to ask for the colder items to go on it. I ordered the turkey and swiss with bacon on wheat. My husband got the Italian on white. You can add bacon, mushrooms, cheese, tomato, lettuce, mayo, mustard, etc... to any sandwich you want. It's very much a typical sandwich deli place. We got our soda cups, chips (Zapp's or sun chips) and cookies. The cookies are Oatmeal Chocolate chip and they are the best thing we had here. All of this including cookies was under $20, so not a bad deal. Our sandwiches were good but not over the top 'wow'. The chips were chips. The cookies were very good. They also serve shakes and malts, but we didn't try one. It was COLD inside. When we went to sit down, most of the tables were dirty.
