NEW Chicken Tomato Mozzarella
Rumit P.

I'm giving only three stars because the first assembly line team member was super grumpy and unfriendly. The first person you interact with doesn't have to be Chick-fil-A happy but at least don't just stare at me blankly and looked irritated when I ask what type of bread is depicted in the marketing poster. The second person (post-oven) didn't ask me for any additional toppings, also was not very friendly or engaging, and handed me my sandwich with such apathy for his job. Also, the excitement of a new sandwich (chicken mozzarella tomato) quickly dissipated when I ate it. Super bland, unfilling, and overpriced. Not recommended. Stick with your favorites at Potbelly!

Awesome sandwich place in the area. The atmosphere is chill and the prices are reasonable. Ate lunch here everyday during my weeklong work trip. I recommend this place if you are looking for a tasty sandwich at a reasonable price with a clean and relaxing atmosphere.

How is this $17?!?

I was absolutely disappointed with the product I received for the inflated price. One tiny slice of deli meat in my sandwich for $17. I literally can't eat here. I do not recommend eating here.

Well. I haven't tasted the sandwiches yet, but they clearly think I was born yesterday with this milkshake drama. The employee had a hard time scooping for the milkshake, and the amount of ice cream she used made that evident. My second shake is half empty (exaggerating but still.) When I inquired about a top off, she said "I can't because the ice cream is frozen but honestly, that's how full it's supposed to be." Fail. I won't be back. Potbellys all over the place have been trash for a while. If anyone knows of one that hasn't downgraded service, let me know!

Mixed berries & coffee milkshake.

Food is great, fast and nice staff. We go there all the time. Get the rewards account it pays off when you go at least three times.

I used to live potbelly. My sandwich today had no flavor. They forgot to put mustard, hot peppers, salt, pepper, spices, and oil on it. Bleh

Staff is rude, bathrooms are vile. Food was messy. Long lines, and a bunch of noise as I ate. Such a shame because it's an awesome location.

I was craving kebab and this unfortunately did not hit the spot for me. We got lamb and chicken kebab combo (#5) and ghormeh sabzi. The meats were bland and very dry. Usually when I order lamb kebab I expect full of flavor and juicy, but this lamb was TOUGH like I had to really chew and there was no flavor. Ghormeh was bland too and not that many cubes of beef. Pita bread and rice were both good. The staff were friendly but not really helpful...we asked what ghormeh was and he just said it's "beef." I would say gourmet bazaar (Rockville) is much better.

The entree was a bit of a cafeteria style thing, but it fit the bill; the menu says it offers not only tofu but some red kidney beans in a stew of greens with lime flavor, and while I can't think of any similar combination I've had in all my travels, it works. The yogurt they offer on the side is a Persian staple, but what really shined was the fresh bread whose odor wafted through my vehicle as I drove my takeout elsewhere. A delightfully thin and browned creation, it was 100% worth adding despite the fact that they already gave me a massive pile of rice (with a bit of saffron rice on top of the plain white rice). This isn't high-end cuisine, but they delivered distinctive flavors in a timely and convenient fashion, and with a good range of vegetarian choices. Of their other locations in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, some of them offer these stews with tofu mixed in and some do not, though falafel and a few other options remain available.

Going in, I knew the restaurant was gorgeous but pictures don't do A.B. justice. As soon as you enter, you see the semi-circle velvet seating, the intimate booths and this amazing bar display. I immediately had a snap a picture! Early as usual, I started off at the bar where they have a nice HH menu. I tried one of the recommended cocktails that was very good. The calamari was BANGIN! My friend schooled me and said it was tempura style which was why it tasted so good. Well, other restaurants need to take notes.. For real! Once we were done at the bar, the lovely hostess led us to our booth for dinner. We kept it simple, I had the Delmonico Ribeye sliced and she had the Branzino. She's a hard critic, much harder than me and she had to admit, both meals were BOMB!! Prepared perfectly, we both agreed.. We'll be BACK! Acqua Bistecca is a hidden jewel in upper upper NW Washington, DC, in a small newer living/shopping area with garage parking just footsteps away. If you're looking for a new slick spot to dine with a dope atmosphere, this is absolutely the place to be!!

Here's a short and positive review you can use: Review: Byblos Deli April 2025 -I had the chicken special at Byblos Deli and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, and the chicken was tender and juicy. You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a hidden gem--

I…read moregot the chicken shawarma pita, which consisted of grilled chicken, a couple slices of tomato, hummus, and maybe a small amount of white sauce? It was really not at all what I was expecting, especially considering the chicken was remarkably dry, bland (I only noticed salt and pepper), and pan-seared/grilled instead of cooked on a spit. This would probably rank among the worst shawarmas I've ever had in DC. My partner got the greek salad with chicken added, which was also not at all to her liking. It had spinach, white onion (why not red??), cherry tomatoes, and minimal feta. It really wasn't a proper greek salad like she was hoping for. On top of all of this, this place was not cheap. The shawarma pita and greek salad with chicken totaled nearly $30. The workers were kind, and the inside had a hole-in-the-wall feel, which I normally expect when going to good greek/mediterranean delis, but the food quality was just so bad. Overall, I was super disappointed with the quality and authenticity of the food and will not be going back to Byblos deli anytime soon.
