This was my first visit to Potbelly. I love a good sandwich and was excited to try theirs. I got my go to favorite, the italian. The sub comes toasted and the meats were tasty. They offer lots of fresh toppings. I was curious about the hot peppers so they put them on the side. They are very spicy so I was glad they put them on the side. I made it a combo and had chips and a drink. They have Tractor juice and lemonade which was great because I am not a soda drinker. The staff was nice and answered my questions since it was my first time. They have a variety of table seating and the decor is cute. Overall I really enjoyed it and would come back when I want a toasted sub.

It was a new place and we were craving a sandwich. It was clean and had really cool decor. The service Jaray gave was excellent! I could feel all of his potential in life he was cleaning the tables after he cashed us out and brought us our soup and banana milkshake! My husband and I sparked up a conversation and he was extremely professional and polite! He has great potential and is going to go far in life! He really made our entire visit! The food was so so wasn't really impressed with our wrap or sandwich. The milkshake on the other hand was delicious! I'm really giving it a 5 star for Jaray's customer service!

This was a last minute choice my wife and I tried. We loved the decor and the staff, especially Jaray, were very helpful and polite. Truly some awesome people. Plenty of parking. The banana pudding milkshake was incredible. Highly recommend. Unfortunately the sandwiches were not that good. My Prime Rib Steak Sandwich was very fatty and I did not like the flavors very much. My wife felt the same way about her Southwest Avo Chicken Wrap. Choices were made regarding seasonings and flavors and we did not agree.

Just opened a couple weeks ago - got to check it out today. My rating is all about the taste. The taste is 5 stars. That sandwich is good - yum. Like can't wait to go back. Some other things are clunky. App didn't let us pay to finish - just spins with cute pot belly icon. Tried a dozen times. Ordering a bit clunky - you order your sandwiches, salads and shakes at first gap - but only the bread, meat, and cheese you want - rest gets handled in next gap. You can't see your sandwich or toppings - so that part is hard. They forgot cheese on my salad, used a nasty tomato with stem, but those are rookie mistakes. Salad is good quality, the banana pudding milkshake was fire, and the prime rib sandwich is memorable. Staff here is super, place is cool inside, and it's in the Academy Sports plaza. This place will do well - go check it out! Great job Potbelly and welcome. Look forward to seeing you hit your stride. Food is delish!!!!!!!

O'Briens Deli - Mini Reuben Signature Sandwichon a pickle

It's a small space - a few tables inside and a few tables out - but don't let that or the line you are likely to encounter deter you. They crank out sandwiches quickly here. Said sandwiches include about two dozen hot and cold offerings as well as the ability to build your own. The meats are Boar's Head, but the desserts and soups are made fresh in-house. Check out the display case for salads and sides that might catch your eye. O'Brien's prides itself on its Reuben, and so I went with the "mini" version (a quarter rather than a half pound of meat) with a pickle for my first visit here. Ordering at the register was a breeze, and I was fortunate enough to snag one of the tables for dine-in. Though I was a bit skeptical that the Reuben would match the hype, it delivered. I don't know that it is without a doubt the best version I've had, but it is definitely up there. The grilled rye was nice and crisp, and I appreciated that they used both mustard and Russian dressing. That, plus the meat, kraut, and melty cheese, made for a very satisfying bite. At $10, the sandwich proved a good value, too. Unpretentious and nostalgically comforting (for Northern transplants, at least), O'Brien's is a well-oiled sandwich-slinging machine. Though that Reuben will be hard to top, I look forward to giving one of their other offerings (maybe a Cuban, maybe a Spicy Italian) a try.

When anyone asks me where to find the best reuben in Winston, I tell them go to the place that proudly proclaims in their window that they are "The Home of the Reuben" and can back it up... O'Briens! It's a small place, a few outdoor tables, and probably 6-8 inside. They do a lot of to-go business, for good reason. The lunch crowd will never shy away from a sandwich here... of which I have had several. But the reuben indeed stands alone. One of the keys to their success is a happy and engaged staff. The owner, Josh, realizes this and takes great care of them. He believes his success should also be theirs, and that is evident in their demeanor. On to the Reuben. Why is it so good? The pictures really say it all. Corned beef stacked high, with a good ratio of kraut, swiss cheese, deli mustard, and grilled Jewish rye bread. Visually impressive, leads perfectly into orally outstanding. You'll be full and happy, and wondering why you'd order it anywhere else. Not to mention, check them out around St. Patrick's day for traditional Irish stew!

And as for a double curse, at most of these spots, the prices go up as the portions tail off. I have found Jason's to be flying against these trends, consistently providing stable value and consistent flavor from a menu that is large and varied - with their full salad bar providing one of the very best values at any restaurant, national or local. On this visit, I was again picking up several items for a small family group. We chose fully loaded containers from the salad bar, a bow of chili, and a full sized Reuben sandwich. Once home, we split the items up for all to enjoy - nothing disappointed! This was a first try with the chili, and it was quite nice - plenty of well seasoned ground beef, no beans or onions, but was well topped with cheddar cheese! The Reuben contained 8 ounces of hot, tasty corned beef, great cheese, plenty of kraut, marble rye, and lots of 1000 Island Dressing. It was cut into the required pieces, and the additional dressing was shared - a bit messy but delicious in total. The center piece was the large amount of variety in the salad, and when well covered in the dressing this was great - not especially healthy with the amount of dressing I added! I'll be back soon as I noticed they are offering Beef Stew for a while - gotta try that.

I grew up getting a Honey Baked Ham at Easter and Christmas but I have never just gone in for lunch…read moreso today on a whim my husband and I headed over to check it out. I knew I was going to get a turkey sandwich. The choices were smoked turkey or Baked honey roasted. Of course I chose the latter because I am at Honey Baked Ham and anything honey baked sounded delicious to me. My Husband ordered a Chef Salad since he was looking for. keto friendly option. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered and took a seat near the window while we waited. As we waited I could appreciate how clean the whole dining area and every part I could see behind the counter was. While our food was being made, other customers came in to get orders to go as well. I took the opportunity to check out some of the take and heat items in the refrigerators and freezers. They have some delicious looking sides and even some BBQ ribs and pulled pork to take home. All their sauces and chutneys were on the shelves so you can just grab them to take as well. Honestly, I had no idea Honey Baked Ham offered so many items! Our food was delivered to our table and I was immediately impressed with the quantity of thick cut turkey on my sandwich. I could barely get my mouth around it! The roll was soft, lettuce was crisp and the tomato was juicy. They had mayo on one side and a sweet honey sauce on the other. It was a great sandwich and I'll definitely get it again. My husband's salad looked small at first but then he tossed in the dressing and it realized the bowl was pretty packed. There was a lot of turkey and ham all cut us so it was easy to distribute throughout the salad. He ate every bite and felt it was a good portion. This was a great lunch experience and I'll definitely be back for sure.
