Me and this chick have seen each other a few times over the years, and while I wouldn't call it anything serious, she does have what I want, when I want that one specific thing... chicken salad! CSC is a chain, but honestly, gotta admire them. They have zeroed in on doing one thing exceptionally well, and that is chicken salad. Great chicken salad is an art, and most of the time I am left feeling pretty meh about it when I end up having it. That is not the case here. I would happily buy this chicken salad and bring it to events with some fresh bread or just crackers, and am pretty sure no one would complain. It also must be a very profitable business model. I think all of their chicken salad is made at central distribution centers and sent out as needed to different location, and with this particular food, there's not a thing wrong with that. That means your equipment needs at your actual locations are probably not all that stringent, cutting costs as well as what the local inspector could potentially ding you for. Staff too must be easier to train and retain due to this. So for me, yes, I am a fan of this particular chain and have yet to find a menu item I don't care for. I'll continue to go to CSC when I want a protein heavy meal or just something simple. They also have excellent tea and lemonade for a wonderful Arnold Palmer!
Chicken salad chick is the perfect lunch spot! They offer a wide variety of chicken salads and everyone I've tried has been yummy. I like to get mine on a croissant with bacon and cheddar. My go to flavor is the kickin Kay Lynne. It has a really good flavor and the bacon and cheese compliment it nicely! I also love that you get a cookie with your meal.
Surprised this place only has 3 stars. Every time I come here my experience is nothing short of perfect. The staff is extremely nice. I always get greeted when I walk through the door and any time I have an issue, they go above and beyond to resolve it. The food is always really good too. I didn't even know I liked chicken salad until I tried it here. No other chicken salad I've had compares to this place. Every flavor I've tried is amazing and they always have some great seasonal flavor to switch things up which is much appreciated. The Bacon Cheddar Melt is unbeatable. The perfect amount of food and there's so many healthy sides which is a nice change up from other fast food places. I love the little sugar cookie they include with the meal too! It's the perfect mini dessert after I finish my meal.
If you just love a consistently good chicken salad, this is a great spot. I like to swap back and forth from Olivia's Old South (sweet pickles & egg) and the Classic Carol (celery & secret seasoning) because I know that I like them both but I can never remember which one I like more. Their mac and cheese is always a good choice but they have several different side options from broccoli, pasta, or grape salads,or chips. The Chick meal comes with a sandwich, side, pickle, and a tasty individually wrapped butter cookie to save for later if you are too full. Download their app to earn rewards. If you fill out a survey, you'll get a dollar off your next Chick meal. Can't beat that for a quick, easy lunch. Expect a line during lunch rush but you can save yourself some time and order online. Service is fast and friendly.
I love the Chicken Salad Chick Chain but this location's service was not welcoming. The restaurant itself was dull and the vibe was off. The one in High Point is so much better! If you are in the middle of these two locations, choose the one by the Palladium. The broccoli salad was served dry and the scoop of chicken salad was so small! In the center was three grapes, I may have gotten a tablespoon of chicken and that has never happened before.
My coworker requested to stop here and I'm glad we did. They offer a variety of chicken salad with almost everything covered. They do offer samples, which I appreciate. I love a classic chicken salad and onions so the Dixie Chick was my choice. It did not disappoint!

First time trying Chicken Salad Chick today with my coworker! I went with the new Maui Mama half sandwich and the loaded potato soup. The Maui Mama didn't quite hit the mark for me, but the soup was absolutely delicious--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My coworker got the Classic Carol on a croissant with the broccoli salad, and she loved both! Definitely a solid choice if you're into more traditional chicken salad flavors. Overall, a good first experience. I'd come back to try some different sandwich options next time!

Their lemon basil chicken salad on a melt was really yummy! I like how it also came with fresh fruit, a pickle and a little dessert. It was the perfect lunch!
This is my favorite lunch spot in Greensboro! The line was almost out the door today! I've never seen it that long but it moved rather quickly. I had their new Parmesan Caesar chicken salad. I chose to have it on a croissant with sides of pasta salad and grape salad. This was THE best chicken salad ever! I could eat their grape salad till I'm plum sick. Chicken salad chick should definitely be added to the summer quick eats list when you want something cool, refreshing and satisfying. Ordering online was a breeze and pickup was fast and efficient. However if you want to dine in there are plenty booths and tables available. For just a little over $12 "the chick" trio is the way to go. With a sandwich and two sides you can't beat it with a stick. They have different flavor profiles from sweet, savory & spicy, so your bound to find one, two, or even three you'd like. However, if your a fan of miracle whip/ sweet mayo these salads do not have that taste but good nonetheless. Definitely will be going back

I went with the BLT on a croissant with mac and cheese on the side-- you are given a complimentary pickle and sugar cookie which was yum! The aesthetic of the space was so cute as well. So let me first start by saying I adore chicken salad and this place gives you loads of flavor options. Some of the flavors are spectacular and others are a bit lacking. This last time I got the Olivia's old south as a sandwich and the Dixie chick as a scoop. Both were great, the old south is more of how I make my normal chicken salad and the Dixie chick has a very nice non overwhelming onion flavor. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to some of the lack of flavor in some of the options in addition to the croissant being so large and the scoop not covering enough of the bread. I think if the bread were a little smaller it would make the sandwich feel fuller, vs feeling like you're bitting spots with no filling other than this i love that you can chose an additional scoop vs having a side item
I couldn't remember why I stopped visiting this place. I was reminded on today. Do they care?! Nope. I was given old limp pickles and yall know I love pickles and know pickles and asked if they could be replaced with pickles that were not limp. A guy came from out the back and asked me had I stuck my hand in them, and I replied no. He then said, well you put your face over it so I can't replace them. Say what now?!? And if that wasn't enough, I checked my food while waiting on new pickles and saw these crumbled burnt pieces of bacon on my BLT. I asked if he would give me strips instead of these crumbs and he said it comes with crispy bacon and that's crispy bacon. Again, do they care?! No. I have no idea who he was, was kind of acting like a Manager, however no name tag or identification. The other workers never lifted their heads. It's apparent they are used to him. I've been to this location a few times for a quick bite and it never disappoints! They give samples if you wanna try any of their delicious chicken salads. My favorite is the Sassy Scotty--which includes ranch, bacon, and cheese. The best side in the whole world is the grape salad! It's like dessert but better somehow. If I could give 10 stars I would!! The entire ambiance here is so chill and relax. We walk in, lunch time, and it was a line. We waited maybe 5-minutes. The employee (looked to be the manager) was VERY patient with me as I couldn't decide. I finally ordered ...Sassy Scotty and Buffalo Barclay with a side of loaded potato soup!! Within minutes the food was delivered to our table. The Sassy Scotty was just that...Sassy!! Blend of shredded cheese , ranch , and bacon. Paired with crackers = Yum! The Buffalo Barclay tasted like Wings! Still perfection!! Oh I can't forget the loaded potato soup....If I could've licked the bowl and not gotten several looks - I wanted to lick the whole dang bowl! My coworker enjoyed his salad as well. When an officious health inspector told Stacy Brown that her door-to-door chicken salad business was illegal, she and her late husband decided that they would simply make it "legal". And so they founded Chicken Salad Chick. And chicken salad lovers owe that inspector (and Stacy, obviously) a debt of gratitude, for at CSC you will find a stunning array of chicken salad variations served in an adorable atmosphere. I have been several times to sample different flavors, and all are quite good. One thing that stands out is the texture--the most wonderfully smooth chicken salad I have ever had. There are a lot of alterations to choose from, each one named after a family friend or relative and their personal favorite twist on this venerable dish. I have tried Classic Carol, Fruity Fran, Jalapeno Holly, Dixie Chick, and Fancy Nancy. They come as a scoop or a sandwich with a side item, or you can grab a container to go. I enjoyed them all, but my favorite so far is Dixie Chick--for the onion lover. They have a few other items to offer as well. I have had mixed experiences with the service staff--sometimes very nice and helpful and sometimes just doing the bare minimum. As CSC has expanded to well over 200 locations, it appears to me that they have overall stayed true to simple, family-owned business values. read more

This chicken salad chick is a tad on the dirty side. It needs a good cleaning. The area behind the cashier and back of the house looked much cleaner then the front of the house. I did check before ordering my food. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I know everyone is short staffed but this is something you want to keep clean to maintain patrons. Food is always fresh but flavor is not always consistent. Staff is always friendly. Ample seating and clean environment. I've tried about 4-6 different flavors. My favorite being the Dixie chick (i ate it before i took photo) and pictured below is fancy nancy). Next would be the lemon basil. Grape salad is FANTASTIC!! read more

First, thanks for redeeming the coupon that came in the mail late. That was the driving force for me to try them for lunch and to purchase some of their other items. I asked for egg salad on wheat but got a croissant. Disappointed. I don't use much salt but this salad needed salt. I ordered smaller sizes of more egg salad and the pimento cheese and she showed me a different size that I selected for grape salad but the container was a lot bigger. Probably why I paid more than expected. I can say I tried it. Meh. read more
