We were very happy with our decision to visit here because the food was so yummy. The inside of the restaurant is fairly small with not a ton of seating but even more seating is provide outside with nice hightop tables and it is covered. To order you go down a line to place your order of meats and sides. I ordered the lunch special that was $11.99 for 1/4 chicken, 2 sides, and a drink. Plenty of food for this price. I ordered chicken, plantains, and black beans. The order also automatically comes with white rice. Everything was very hot and tasted fresh. I enjoyed all the seasonings and made for a great lunch. There was a few drinks offered on the menu with only 1 having whiskey in it so I was a bit unsure as to why the name.

Needless to say, k was in the side with the booze! Very chill, casual bar vibes. It was a little sporty, is perfect since the Nationals play right across the street. We were there on opening game day too, so they had a few great drink specials. And our bartender was cool! Now about the food...we had the whole chicken, which came with 4 sides. The portions of the sides were great and the food with tasty. I see why "chicken" is in this place's name. It was juice and flavorful. I also had a Hot Boy (old fashioned), which was balanced and nice, but I will say I anticipated more spice because of the name and description. Lastly, they have a fun little shot ski offer and it's pretty cost-effective, so this is definitely the place to come to kick off a good time.

We ordered the Mac and cheese bites but they did not have any Mac.. it was just fried cut up mozzarella sticks. Which is great.. if that's what it was called on the menu. We also ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a pub burger. The chicken sandwich was fine. The pub burger was ... meh. The pretzel bun they brought out was over toasted and looked like it was pretty dry before that. Like it was HARD. No one came to check on us after the food arrived so I had to take my plate to the check out desk to address the issue. Cait took care of it right away; I asked for just a new bun - I don't mind swapping it out myself. But in the end the burger was still just meh. Almost forgot to mention the fries .. not great. They were salted well but the fries themselves were almost chewy. When we checked out, Cait said apologized and mentioned some staffing issues. She offered to get in touch with some sort of compensation but didn't offer to waive our one beer. We left paying full price for everything. Again, fine spot if you just wanted to hang out and drink beer.

I got the batters favorite and it tasted like noodles in water. It was bland from start to finish. Even adding the Chili oil did not help. The meet was unseasoned, the broth was unseasoned, the drinks were not good. I don't know if it was just an off night or the place has gone down hill. It use to be vibrant and a place you could hang with friends and chill. Now, it was empty and lifeless and this is on a Friday night. Our friends got a mixture of things and one of my friends got the coconut curry ramen with extra chicken and didn't even bother eating the chicken and said the Ramen itself was not worth it. I'm not a fan of trashing restaurants, I truly like to find the beauty somewhere but this place gave my wife food poisoning. Immediately a couple hours later after eating from there, we left around 10pm, she started to violently vomit at midnight and it lasted for a long period. How do we know it was this place.... Her vomit was straight Ramen. So, I say this to say.. eat here at your own risk. Batters Favorite: 0/10.. Just taste like water with Noodles Mango Tango: 0/10... Tasted like mango with no tango.

Street parking was a challenge as others seemed to have the same idea but once I parked across the street everything from there was up. It's pretty spacious with a nice size patio area; it was empty, so I opted to sit at the bar - they have happy hour specials all day every day. I settled for a tequila lemon drop, edamame and the Strike Out ramen with fried chicken. The chicken was seasoned but I felt like I had mostly fat which added a chewy texture so I didnt eat all of it. The ramen itself was good, had a nice spice to it and the lemon drop was strong. The edamame was soft, like they used thawed frozen peas and barely any salt. Overall - this visit satisfied the craving of wanting ramen. I would give it another try especially since it's close by and the all day happy hour is a plus

She gave us some menus, some glasses of water, and also told us some things about the menu. We saw that they had a bottomless brunch option that allowed us to get bottomless mimosas or margaritas until 4 PM. We both decide to go with margaritas. For an appetizer, we ordered the PICKLING + MD BAY SEASONED WINGS , which were absolutely amazing! The hot honey really brought out so much flavor in the wings. For entrées, my wife ordered the super lump crab cake omelette, and I ordered the hanger steak and eggs. My wife's omelette was full of crab and was amazing! My steak was seasoned very well and was flavorful! Both of our entrees came with circle hash browns similar to Chick Fil A's which are my favorite! The food was absolutely delicious! The bartender made sure we got our money's worth and constantly refilled our margaritas whenever they got low. We ended up having about 6 margaritas each. This was an amazing brunch deal. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Overall, it was slightly worse than the diner downstairs. The food quality wasn't worth the price, which was unfortunate as we were looking forward to visiting Social for a while and finally went on a birthday. The ambiance is nice and chill but the tables are a little too high for the seats. We got the queso fresco pretzels, wagyu sliders, five napkin chicken sandwich, lobster lobster lobster pasta, flourles chocolate cake, and churros. The best bite was the bacon ricotta flatbread. The lobster pasta sauce was underwhelming and the desserts both tasted off. Service was friendly enough, but the experience still was a disappointment overall.
