Since, this salon was just renovated everything's brand new. I like the open air and modern concept. I am now familiar with the parking and directions to get to the building. It was a little tricky at first. But, my favorite part of the salon is my stylist, DK. He is an expert professional and does a precise job with cutting and styling my hair. I love the way my hair looks, feels, and it is really easy to take care of. So, beautiful new salon, my favorite stylist-DK, ... I will see you again in 4 weeks. It curls in a really pretty way at the ends, which it didn't do before. This is a really friendly family run business! I still don't know…read morewhat made me want to go blonde (though I feel like everyone imagines it at one point) but: 1) turning 30, 2) COVID crisis, and 3) having to postpone my wedding 3 times due to said COVID crisis were reasons enough. I made an appointment in September 2020 with Amanda (just looked on the website for a stylist) and prepared to go blonde. She had looked over the photos I sent and we spoke and came to a better idea of what I wanted/could achieve. I had about 3 years' worth of box dye on my head (2 inches of roots) and my natural color is a Level 2, the box dye put me at maybe Level 3 or 4. The process was long but that was to be expected and Amanda very thorough - hair is her passion and it shows! We got halfway to where I wanted to be in that session and she recommended me some products (that I bought and then later purchased again on my own - Kerastase, why does everything you make have to smell SO good?!?!) I've since gone twice more to get to the level of blonde I want (the lightest parts are basically Level 9 now!) I know there are bound to be people who complain about something, anything about the process but I don't have a single complaint. It's a given that such a huge transformation will take a long time and while my little tailbone is dead at the end, these stylists have had their arms up, standing and working for ~6 hours so us clients can have gorgeous hair! Amanda is super professional and personable - I can trust her with my hair and she's always willing to make things right (the first time the toner was too light it washed out almost immediately and she saw me the day after to get it a bit darker so it would fade better, at no charge). Plus, she has the best recommendations for restaurants in the county!

She always takes her time and is super meticulous, her attention to detail is so dope. My hair is very blonde but she keeps it so healthy! She's super honest and is very helpful if you're looking for product recommendations but never pushy to have you try things. I like my hair blunt cut and I'm always super happy with the cut as well. I can't say enough, she's a super kind person and a very talented stylist.
