I've been to eat in a few times - atmosphere is OK - the pizza is pretty delicious. It is a small space, so like others have mentioned, there is usually a lot of kids, and not that much space to spread out from them. Plus TVs are on too! Had a salad/sandwich not impressed would stick with pizza menu. Potomac Pizza has good food which is why I'm giving them 3 stars but customer service and attention to detail is incredibly frustrating. I order from the regularly and every order they always forget something. Whether it's a side that's supposed to come with the order per the menu or they something up. I decided to place an order from them today and again the same forgetting to include the side that comes with the order. I called and the guy who answered assured me of a credit previously (which he didn't do) answered and said he would send some one back out. It took them 30 minutes to bring are side. Are food was cold and stale at this point. It's ridiculous that they can get a simply order correct and are not cheap. My suggestion is make sure if you order from here you check your order while the delivery driver is still standing there to make sure you got everything you asked for. I will be calling tomorrow to demand to speak to the manager or owner as this is annoying as hell. Especially when you're Hungry! read more

Food is great, when you eat there. The pizza is great and the wings too I do have one compliant though, delivery! It takes a long time for the pizza to get to my house, and I live within 2 miles. On average it takes 40-60 min, but besides that it's a great establishment. read more

This place is getting two stars instead of one only because I feel badly for the mangers working there who seem to want to do the right thing and try to save this place. I wish them luck and hope they know that they could be really good but their food, right now, is terrible. I walked in and placed a carry out order of garlic cheese bread and a tomato mozzarella salad. It was right before the lunchtime set came in and quiet. I stood right near the counter after placing my order with the teenager working the register. After waiting 20 minutes I got a little angry and walked to the manager to see how long garlic bread could possibly take and it turns out the kid forgot my order had been sitting there the whole time. Okay, honest mistake. When you hire kids to work for you this is what you should expect though. So, on to the food. I was super jazzed about eating the bread but utterly let down. It's just a hoagie roll! Sandwiched in the bread was unsalted, bland cheese. It was soggy and cold at this point and I could only eat one bite. Then I opened the tomato mozzarella salad and was excited b/c it was huge hunks of mozzarella. They turned out to be fine but the tomato slices were the driest, least ripe, mealy, and hard tomatoes ever. I would never serve those to someone, especially if they paid for them. Gross. Needless to say he didn't have any materials to wash his hands. This is unfortunate because I like Potomac Pizza so much. I personally think their pizza is the worst pizza I've ever had. And honestly, I think they get as much traffic as they do because Potomac is want for more pizza options. Looks better and more put together inside than Tally ho but the tally ho pizza is superior in my opinion. I ordered a margherita here once (admittedly not on their menu but they said they could do it) and they charged me over 26 dollars for a small pizza that had the same cheese and simply used those large hamburger type tomatoes thickly sliced and plopped on top. It was infuriating and garbage. Then I tried it again. We ordered some spinach ricotta pizza that was so terrible it was laughable. I mistakenly had not looked online to see that it would be their normal plain pizza with some spinach and ricotta swirled ON TOP OF A PLAIN CHEESE PIZZA. But even that, what we got looked nothing like their picture. It was an uppriced plain cheese with the thinnest sliver of the more expensive spinach and ricotta swirled so so sparsley (not that it would taste good even generously; who combines a plain cheese pizza with a spinach ricotta sauce?). We also tried some sort of mexican pizza or something that they had which I have to say, was the only time I have ever seen a group of hungry people throw out an entire pizza without eating it. It was covered in BROWN GUACAMOLE that looked disgusting and the cheap shredded lettuce and unmelted shredded cheese you would put on a taco. No sauce, basically a meatless taco on dough. Brown guacamole. Honestly we ended up laughing. And yet people still go here, mainly when they need to feed teams or kids in bulk. I will say their chicken caesar wrap is very very nice but it does not compensate for the garbage that is their attempt at pizza. read more

Ordered online, wrote in instructions " a lot of crushed pepper and parm please, couldn't find ranch can I get two small sides please" check out and confirm order, boom instant call, "hey I just got your order I would have to charge you a dollar for the ranch" so I'm like cool not a problem and then he assures me that I'll get a lot of crushed peppers delivery driver gets here "your drinks and ranch and stuff is in the bag" cool thanks, have a nice day. Opens bag open ranch all over Honest Tea, thank god it didn't get on the crushed red peppers and parm. That's cause there was none. Called them up let them know they fucked up passive aggressively hang up on them before they even say anything, I used to work pizza delivery I'd forget drinks occasionally and peppers and my tip would suffer luckily they have it set up to where you tip before you can realize thy forgot your shit after they called you and said it would be there, like they literally called and lied to me. Hey you need to pay a dollar so we can cover your drink with half the ranch you ordered and we got you on the peppers and parm cheese. All in all pizza was sub par, coulda used some spice, and for some odd reason I ran out of ranch. I'm rounding up for 2.5 stars. read more

OK I don't give 5 starts lightly... We live close to this location and basically it's the only place that will deliver to our house. We just moved in a month ago and you all know how much food delivery happens when you're moving/unpacking, etc. Imagine our surprise to find NO OTHER PLACE delivers. Our first order...pizza...of course, was incredibly good. Great sauce flavor, made as ordered and delivered quickly and piping hot. Subsequent food deliveries were all from them bec...well, we're captive audience, no one else delivers to our address!! So I'm here to attest to the fact that after a month of orders, 7 orders in all, they have been CONSISTENTLY FANTASTIC, we've ordered Hot Italian Subs, Steak and cheese, always a pepperoni pizza for the kids, hot wings, fried cheese sticks...heck, even the french ffries arrive great (not soggy). I have nothing to complain about, except tonight's order. They forgot the french fries we ordered with one of the sub sandwiches. One minor complaint for the past 7 orders? We have put up with too much from this place. They always take forever to deliver their food, it is usually cold when it arrives and they almost always forget our drinks. Also, it is a real rip off. Tonight I wanted a medium pizza with half hawaiian topping and half plain. They wanted to charge me almost $2.00 more just to leave half of it plain! We loved this pizza. Its pricey - I agree with some previous reviewers on that. I like the chewy crust, the spicy pepperoni, and the sauce. Only thing I did not like was the byproduct oil of all the pepperoni, but a few napkins helped with that. We had excellent service from the staff, and all in all, was a nice experience for me and my son for dinner out one evening.
