Alfredo chicken pasta breadbowl

I've come to this Domino's for at least 20 years now. It's been around for as long as I can remember and it is the only location I like going to. The service here is prompt and the customer service outstanding year after year. The orders are always correct and nothing is overcooked or undercooked. Perfect for the fussy 20854 demographics. Haha! I know I have a Domino's I can go to closer to where I live now, but I am fine with driving 10+ minutes just to revisit this location. After all, nobody makes my bread bowl pasta as perfectly as this location and my thin crust pizzas.

You can not properly make a pizza and have it cooked in 15 minutes. You can not properly make bone in chicke wings that fast either. How do I know? Becuase I went to the Domino's to order a pizza and wings, there were done in 15 minutes. The pizza was way undercooked and the wings were cold, wet, messes. This was Monday afternoon, around 2 PM. There were very busy. I waited about as long for the inattentive staff to get to me as I did for the undercooked and underwhelming food to be given to me. I am not sure what is going on in the world where it has become almost impossible to get a decent pizza but the things going on are not good.

I used to order from the dominoes on Nicholson but I was tired of getting poor quality pizza. One time I even received a pizza that was all mushed! I decided to try this location out and haven't looked back since. Pizza is clean, location is good, and workers are nice!

Food is classic Domino's, but service is surprisingly uncaring and bad. You won't have to guess how much they don't care about you.

You can build your own bowl or pick from one of their signature bowls - my favorites are the Fans' Favorite and Kapow Fried Rice with Grilled Steak. For a snack, I suggest the Buddy Wings and Larb Meatballs. For drinks, can't go wrong with the Thai Tea, Thai Green Thai, or Boss Ladies (alcoholic). Service is super friendly. Even when busy, food is ready rather quickly and they'll bring it to your table if you dine in.

There weren't any other customers, so I was just standing face-to-face a little uncomfortably until he said anything. The build-your-own-bowl concept suggests that the bowl will be made while you're ordering but I had to wait about 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I was a little confused about their process because they have a lot of the bowl ingredients at the front, and the cashier would sometimes work on the bowls, but then stop and stand by the register/go on his phone. When we ordered, he didn't start making any but when others ordered after us, he made theirs on the spot. The customers who ordered after us were getting served first too, which was a little confusing/unfair. My order was only 2 bowls, so I didn't expect this to happen. When my bowl came, several of the toppings were missing too. Overall, I was pretty disappointed by my second time here.

I LOVE falafel! Because I just absolutely love falafel so much, I know falafel! I eat it everywhere…read moreI can -- and can safely say this is the BEST! It's accessible with plenty of parking nearby, including several disabled parking spots right out front, is absolutely beautiful inside with stunning black-and-white tiles adorning the counter (where you can order -- although there is also a screen-type ordering system in the entryway, as well) wall, enticing photos of all the important things in life -- those being fresh figs, olives, spices, and unfiltered coffee being poured, all along the wall above the tables with most comfortable seating! There are Turkish plates and copper pots hung above, as well, to give a splendid feeling of how food can be heartily prepared and beautifully served -- and beautifully served it is here! The caffeine-free mint tea comes in a gorgeous metal pot and is drunk from a glass glass (meaning a glass made of glass, not ceramic) with eye-catching decorations that will help to bring you into the spirit of the meal you are about to have .... The Quinoa Tabouli Salad with Falafel is spectacular! It's standout amazing, delicious, refreshingly oh-so-fresh, crispy, crunchy, yummy -- how many good-to-great things can I say about it? If I keep complimenting it as much as it deserves, you might get bored, ha ha! You might think that I'm exaggerating. I'm not. Of course, it's possible I'm biased and have tastes that just happen to align with this particular falafel spot's way of preparing things -- but I think not! I think this is objectively over-the-top in greatness! The District Salad is equally splendiferous and worth your time to indulge in savouring every bite. There are so many great-looking things here I can't wait to try! I must taste the Shorbat Adas (puréed lentil soup), (non-quinoa) Tabouli, Toom, and many other things here! The variety is very wowing! Most places just don't give you this variety in terms of various dishes or the variety within each dish that this place does -- and that contributes greatly to not only your appetite but also your health. So much care is clearly put into everything here from the décor to the drinks to the hospitality. It's really like a mini, super-tasty trip to the Near East -- and welcomes everyone equally. I'm so glad I stopped in! I can't wait to go back! Highly recommended! Very much deserving of an absolute, all-around Yay! :-D (By the way, from a not-falafel fan I know: 'You know I'm not a fan of falafel, but that was really good -- everything! We need not ever go back to the other place -- even if it's free!' What better endorsement could there be?)

Ehhh...I was hoping for something better but got just ok…read more Located in Pike and Rose off Old Georgetown Rd, it's situated in a really good area. I went around 6 pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty at the time. There are kiosks that you can order at or you can order at the counter. I ordered the 3 wings (whole) and a side of fries. I didn't have to wait long and when I got my bag the food was hot!!!! I probably should have gotten what they are known for (chicken sandwiches) but I wanted wings badly. The fries were good but could've used just a little more time in the grease to make them a bit crispier. The wings were served hot and fresh out the grease. I was expecting great and got just ok. The wings lacked flavor and could have been fried a tad bit longer for a crispier bite. I was almost afraid that they were undercooked, so I ate only one wing out of caution. I will go back, but only for reputable menu items and not the wings. Also...the restaurant was fairly clean (likely bc it was empty) but could have used a once over as it appeared that the dining floors were swept but the dirt was left in a corner; this could appear as if the restaurant wasn't a tidy as it needed to be. Overall, I'll give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Although I've seen quite a few Roaming Roosters sprout up in the area, I figured that it was time to try out the food. For my order, I went with the chicken tenders (3-4 pieces) and a cup of fries. The order was about $14 without tip. I thought the portion size of the tenders and fries were pretty good based on what I have received from other chicken spots in the area. An order of fries is about four bucks (I didn't see any combo meals on the menu), but you will receive A LOT of fries. If you are dining with someone, you might want to split an order of fries unless you are super hungry. The tenders, which have three spice levels (mild, medium and hot) will come out PIPING hot, which is a good thing. I even had to wait a few minutes to eat the chicken because the food was so hot. I guess this definitely is a good thing if you are doing take out because the food will not be cold as ice by the time you arrive home...depending on how far you live from the restaurant. Overall, I thought the food was delicious, and the spice level of medium just was what I was looking for. I thought it was kind of funny/interesting that the chicken tenders were served on a plain white piece of bread with three pickles, but I guess that's just how Roaming Rooster does it. Perhaps, the bread is there to soak up some of the oil from the chicken, which I guess is a good thing. The fries were pretty awesome because they reminded me a bit of the fries from Five Guys, which I LOVE. Service was fine. One of the workers seemed to be a bit grumpy, but the woman who took my order had a nicer attitude. I stopped by around 6/7 pm so maybe the worker was just over their workday...a mental state that probably all of us has experienced on multiple occasions. The restaurant has a decent dining area with a small outdoor section (I believe there is an upper dining area too). Personally, I was not a fan of the outdoor dining section because it shares a walkway where customers/delivery people are entering and leaving the restaurant.

For apps we ordered calamari and a charcuterie board. They served various types of bread with house marinara sauce. The bread was lovely - just be mindful not to eat too much to not get too full before the food comes! Calamari was battered and fried nicely - not chewy at all. It was served with the same house marinara sauce as the bread basket. Wouldn't get the charcuterie board again for the price. I ordered the lamb chop and asparagus special. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly. My only qualm was that the fat could have been trimmed more. The asparagus came out burnt! I asked for less char and they provided another side free of charge. The clam linguine was VERY buttery. A good portion of clams with NO sand but the dish had a scary amount of butter at the end. The tiramisu was a lot lighter than what I was expecting. Would have preferred a more intense espresso flavor and cocoa powder on top. There was also an interesting addition of cinnamon or nutmeg (warming spice) that I didn't care for.
