It pains me to leave a one-star review, but It needs to be known so yall are aware. Recently, they had their $6.99 special, a large 2 topping pizza. I ordered online, and he said 10-20 minutes. It took me 15 min to get there. It's located in Potomac, but the shopping center looks old and grimey. That should have been my red flag. The staff aren't friendly or welcoming. Basically, they want you to get your ishhh and go. So this thin, bald guy with tattoos seemed a little annoyed that I had to ask for my dipping sauce that I had already paid for. Like insists that I pay another .79 cents. I had to show on my app that I already paid... and had the audacity to roll his eyes.. like what??!! Seriously, I'm not gonna lie over some dipping sauce, and trust me, that sauce ain't all that and nothing like Papa Johns. Another red flag, usually they show you pizza b4 you pay to show the quality. They did not here. My mistake was for not checking. I get home, and my family is looking at me upset . What is this? Why is my pizza burnt and cold? Why does the meat look like beef Jerky? I contacted online customer service instead of the store because that place lacks basic customer service. I also would not trust them with making another pizza. Cuz who knows what would they do with my pizza. Their customer service online suck. Itt's all robotic. 3 days later and no one followed up. Avoid...for it being in Potomac, I expected better. I should've bought a Celeste pizza from Safeway and save me a headache. read more

Delivery review: this place totally sucks. I ordered the 2 mediums $6.99 so my total was like $14. It became $20 at checkout with the fees and then they wanted $5 more for tip. I ordered 1 Extra Large thin crust square cut pizza with cheese and 1 Extra Large thin crust square cut pizza with olives. Overall, they supposed to delivery my pizza but it wasn't ready even when it took one and a half hour, so I went myself. Once I picked it up and came home I was shocked by the cut they made ( triangle, rectangle , etc. but not SQUARE ). Costumer Service was so poor. I had to explain for 3 persons including a MANAGER about my situation and none of them helped me and even more, the lady who I talked the last, just said " I don't see a problem " and hung up the phone. We have always had good food and service from this location so I'm not sure why so many reviews on here are low. I've had pizza in Italy and all around Moco and this still hits the spot. I ordered a medium cheese with extra cheese pizza and bbq chicken bites. I picked it up and took it home very confidently only to be disappointed by my meal there was barley any cheese on the pizza, not even a regular amount. I could still see pizza bread. Also my chicken was burnt and the manager blamed it on the bbq sauce. When I asked for a remake and the manager was very reluctant. I settled with the chicken but I was not walking out with that dry pizza. I got a new pizza and it was still lacking in the cheese department but I just took it because it was almost 11 pm. Nothing really wrong with the customer service however when a customer at any restaurant asks for a remake you should just honor their wishes with no problem. 4.5 Stars. You know what makes life amazing? The Dominos ordering and tracking website. I've done plenty of deliveries and one carry out. For all the times I've done delivery, the drivers have been on time and very courteous. This last time, Sergiy, was super polite, friendly, and even made conversation with me, which made the "transaction" not awkward and weird (like most deliveries). The only time I picked up pizza from here was during Superbowl night. They were super busy (boxes everywhere and 20+ people running in and around the place). It took awhile for them to notice me and check me out, but it got done. Pizzas are always hot and fresh. You MUST try the Pacific Veggie Pizza on thin crust....AMazing! read more

Horrible experience at this store. They gave my curbside pick up order to another customer. With no apology, they shouted at me that the person who took my order got the same last name as mine? But I did say very clearly what color my car is, he can't tell black and white. They asked me to wait for the person who picked my order to come back and refused to make me a new order. The store 'manager' shouted at us very rudely saying that he is super busy and he can't make us a new one, it will take him 25 minutes to do so. On his way back into the store he shouted some dirty words that makes me feel scared and insecure! I wish I can call a police! But when the person who took the wrong order came back he immediately popped that returned pizza into the oven claimed that's his remake. I ordered bring to car carry out because it was pouring rain outside. When I got to the parking lot I waited in my car for 10 minutes at least, a woman next to me was also in her car and waited. Eventually she got out and went to the door the door was locked so she knocked and a man walked up and said ya what's your order number. She told it to him and she plunked her order on the table and walked away. Doing this I walked out and to the door-still locked- and he did the same with me. Sigh. Big fail today, Domino's. Your online pizza tracker had me worried when my order still hadn't arrived 40 minutes after it had supposedly been checked before going out for delivery. When it was finally delivered, I asked the guy if there was a problem. He stammered and said they were very busy. Well, the undercooked pizza arrived cold. I felt compelled to write a review after reading a few that would leave me not to order from this place. I ordered around 7:40 online and got my pizza at 8 pm in the condition you see below. Boy, was it delicious. I literally made one phone call after my order and my delivery guy was ringing my bell before I know it. Delivery driver was pleasant (always tip your driver people). There is an up-charge for pan crust ($2.00) if you select that option when trying to use there mix and match for $5.99 each. A quick call to the store solved my confusion when it came up as $7.99 (I was trying to pay a little under $20, as that's all the cash I had on me but ended up using my card via telephone after placing my online order). Other than that, my belly is satisfied. I'll update the review if I order from this location again, as I probably will in the near future. OK. I can hear you saying, "4 stars for a Domino's pizza? Really?" Yes. So, sue me. And I think I'm as good a judge of pizza as any of the buddies I grew up with in Philly - even the Italians. Here goes - The Domino's on Travilah in Potomac. I was totally surprised and delighted with my first gluten-free Domino's Pizza. Truly excellent taste. The texture was a little bit chewier and not as crisp as with their regular thin crust pie, but more than acceptable. BTW, their thin crust pie beats all the other chains in that space. Due to some unfortunate circumstances and miscommunication, a previous order made a week or two ago was delivered late, lukewarm, and incorrectly. The shift lead at the time promised to credit me the price of the pizza via a note (?) on my account. Anyway, I took his word for it and tried to use the credit today - lo and behold there was no note on my account and they had no idea what I was talking about. I ordered 2 X-large Hawaiian pizzas online with two toppings; I picked up the pizzas, paid for them, opened the boxes, and noticed that both toppings were missing. I've been ordering from this place for years. Consistently good, staff are friendly enough, and pizza is delivered in a timely manner, on or ahead of schedule. I usually pick it up myself as I live close enough. Dominos is not a dine-in place, as they only have a kitchen and standing space for orders. There are no tables outdoors or nearby, so expect to take your pizza home with you. I've never had issues with an order here so I can't speak for their customer service, though I have had a bad experience at a different individually-owned location. read more

I frequent the Domino's on Travilah Rd often. I pickup because the place is on the way and the people who work there are friendly. However, they make mistakes frequently. One time the driver took my carryout order out on their delivery route. It took a while to figure this out. Another time, they made a duplicate pizza of the order before mine so my pizza was never made. I do realize mistakes happen so I calmly wait the extra 15-30 minutes. I know it happens to other customers since I witness the same while I wait for them to correct mine. I'm surprised this store does not have the pizza making process perfected. They have plenty of people working there but they do seem to multi-task, thus, making mistakes on the order. I would say about 30% of the time a mistake is made and I have to wait. Our food was cold and stale by the time it reached us. The carbon check was illegible and the driver was not friendly. Ordered an hour before close. Simple order 1 med pizza brownie and 2ltr. They cancelled my order without ever letting me know. I waited an hour and a half and when I called they gave me some elaborate story basically I was told that the driver locked himself out of his car and that they cancelled my order for me but couldn't be bothered to remake it or let me know. They said there was nothing they could do and to call tomorrow to speak with a manager. No shift manager was closing the night of Jan 30th apparently. I have never been treated like this. We had a party and saw a great deal for Domino's Pizza for carryout orders. We ordered 7 pizzas online to be picked up by 6PM. We created the online order about a few hours before 6PM, so the store had plenty of time to prepare the order. We were worried about the order because we read some of the yelp reviews but we were pleasantly surprised by the good service. A very nice man helped us pack the pizzas in the back of my car so that the pizzas won't slide around in my trunk. The party went well and everyone enjoyed the pizzas very much. I ordered a pan pizza, which only comes in medium with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onions and black olives. The pizza came on time. However, it was soggy underneath the cheese.
