Blown away by the rating if this place! 1-star for ambiance, 1-star for service, 3-stars for food, 3-stars for drinks. Such an unprofessional feel to this place. No one seems to care about what you think of your visit. Loud, sometimes vulgar music. Service was slow. Their menu is diverse and they make everything well, but that might be a reason for the slow service. The chairs and tables were uncomfortable, in my opinion. Great food! Burgers were so good- the menu was really unique and everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered a few different things and split it. The pretzel bites were a huge hit. The food was great! On Monday nights, you get a free beer with your burger, which was pretty awesome. Our waiter was very kind & did a good job. I'm not really understanding what they're going for based on the atmosphere. The middle is like a downtown bar but the two off-shoot rooms are like a diner or mom's kitchen. Very strange. The burgers are good, as well as their sweet potato fries. Their service was very poor. We were there in the early afternoon but our server forgot about us and was distracted doing other tasks for the restaurant the whole time. We stopped here on a Saturday during lunch and had placed an order to go. When my husband asked how long it could take the employee stated "I don't know man, it will come out when it comes out." Because we were with a large group including kids we asked if we could leave our number to be called when the food was ready to go, to which we were told, and I quote "I don't have fucking time for that." HORRIBLE customer service. And when we did get our order 20 min later, it was ALL wrong. I am going to give the food an A+! I really liked my sloppy Joe and fries. My friends burger was great. I will be back to eat. The ambiance was lacking. I know sparse is in style but... well Burger King looks better. Between undecorated walls, with the exception of some crushed spray painted cans nailed to the wall and cafeteria chairs, I was unimpressed. I like a fun place to have a couple beers with friends but not here. It's true you can't tell a nice steakhouse used to here...unfortunately. I am older so maybe I don't appreciate it as I should but the tables around me were not kids. I just would like a plate and not wax paper. Flatware not being an option. Please step it up! We stopped by and had poutine, knoephla, and a burger with slaw at about four o'clock. If you are expecting traditional knoepla or slaw, think again. We were into your restaurant on Sat the 20th at 2:00pm for lunch. I had been there once prior and recommended we go to Pounds. So Sorry I did. Our burgers were served burnt, buns were literally black. The fries were soggy, and luke warm. Dipping sauce had a crust as if it had been sitting out for extended time. Either a new cook or a simply inattentive one--the 'fresh cut fries' were all hard and crunchy. Not at all appealing. The burger was overly 'well done' but saved by Italian sauce. Overall not worth the price. it may be a management issue--since as I was waiting for my order I noticed two kegs had gone to suds and had to be changed.
