We came two years ago to Pour and were quite frankly astonished at how not average it was. From the service to the food to the cocktails. The experience was quite refreshing. So, imagine when we returned just recently how pleased we were to see that they had remained spectacular and that the service was so good that we lost track of the two and a half hours we spent there. We do not often have these experiences and we quite rarely have them twice in a row or twice in a row for the same place let alone two years apart. We look forward to our return. Again. In two years. I love the atmosphere and enjoy the two tables out front, so i can enjoy a meal, and people watch. The tables are tight up to the fence so there isn't much room. I ordered the meat board appetizer, the selection were good quality, but wold have been better with a little cheese. I don't mind paying $17.00 for an appetizer, hover $26.00 is too much eating by myself. LAMB TAGINE $20 Braised lamb shoulder, Turkish apricots, chick pea, ras el hanout, served on a bed of couscous. (A lamb ragout) This was quite delicious. I enjoyed it very well as the flavors all blended well with this. I have not tried the Short ribs and I was told they are a big hit however they are small a portion,and I like to eat. read more

We made a reservation and even specifically a table. This was very helpful because it can be a little loud so asking for a back booth was a good idea. The food was delicious and our waiter was very nice. I was a bit embarrassed when one person in our party was snippy to him but he handled it perfectly. The watermelon cocktail was especially good as was the pokey bowl. read more

Our favorite Up North restaurant!! We always plan a dinner here every time we come up. BUT now they took the BEST item off the menu....the sweet potato salad :( If I lived up there I would get it every single day. I hope they bring it back. read more

We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. We started with some good sushi rolls followed by delicious chicken fried rice (you have to like spice), the duck and the salmon which were all excellent. The service was attentive but when a person in our party wanted something bland because of stomach issues the waitress said that the chef could not provide some bread or plain rice or something more plain than what was offered on the menu.  So if you like to substitute things on dishes I am not sure that they could accommodate. But we loved our food and it is an excellent restaurant. The restaurant is in an old brick building and the buildout is very nice, the restauarnt has a good vibe, I would highly recommend. read more

Came here because our daughter is vegan but please...DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS Management and waitstaff were rude and not accommodating had no suggestions for food kids might like/love. So sad because looks like it could be an amazing higher end family eatery and garner more business. read more

These pork belly tacos are amazing! I've had them twice and enjoyed them both times - speaks to consistency! The service has been nice both visits and the drink list includes one of my favorite wine varieties (red Zinfandel) and one of my favorite beers (Alaskan Amber). They have a nightly happy hour from 5-6 and these tacos are 1/2 off. Tonight was also $8 sushi night (every Tuesday). Great place to sit at the bar also! The sports on the TVs didn't really go with the theme but everything else was fantastic! read more

The food was soooo good! We got the poke nachos to start off with and I can't stop thinking about them, the tuna was super fresh, sauce was full of flavor and the seaweed salad on top was delightful. We also got the pork belly tacos and the hanger steak to split for dinner and it was all very fresh and cooked perfectly. I got the whisky/balsamic reduction drink (can't remember what it's called) and that was very good as well! The ambiance and service was spectacular. Definitely will go back. read more

Went here for dinner and the experience was significantly less than enjoyable. We ordered a roll, it came out wrong. Staff didn't seem happy to accommodate the mistake but put another order in. The roll came out incorrect again. The staff again wasn't helpful nor offered another dinner option. I had to ask for the roll to be taken off the bill. The fried rice was mostly scallions with maybe half a cup of soy sauce drenched rice. Receiving our bill, the wine glass was rung up $4 over than advertised. Waitress seemed annoyed when we asked to be charged for correct price. Overall food wasn't good and the staff wasn't friendly, honestly our waitress was extremely rude. I felt like more of an inconvenience than a customer. Disappointed and won't be returning. read more

Ok, after spending two weeks in the area looking for a decent meal, Pour wins hands down. The food is creative, the drinks well done and the wine list is good too. If you're a vegan, you are in luck: several excellent offerings. This place is head and shoulders above any place else in driving distance. Oh, and the service is good, too! read more

Didn't know Petoskey at all and picked Pour for dinner. Excellent, YES! The burger was the best I've had in my entire life. Wait staff and manager were so nice and accommodating. Wish all restaurants were run this smoothly. Burger may sound strange for dinner but the meat was the best, toppings and presentation were great. The atmosphere was a real vibe, fun. Wine selection was excellent, wish we were in town another night we would have gone right back. Congrats to management, you are doing a great job! read more

Beware! I have eaten here numerous times and it has always been fair to good. Cutting corners is never a good idea. Take it off the menu if it's not fresh! You will get caught! The special sushi tonight was Blue Toro Tuna, sushi grade. The waiter came back after my order to tell me it was going to be a little different? A different sauce and cooked rare instead of raw. A dead giveaway! No pun intended. The fish was old, strong tasting. Shouldn't have been served. I have eaten all sorts of fresh and saltwater fish I have caught myself, including tuna. I normally don't order saltwater fish in MI. but sometimes I take a chance. They have the best wine list in town though! read more

This used to be one of our favorites places to go to in the past. I don't know if ownership has changed, but the food is quite bad now. Also less vegetarian options than before. We ate the Laotian lettuce cups and vegetarian fried rice--too salty and oily, small quantity, and overpriced. They have sushi and we asked if we could get a plain avocado roll, she said sure but she would have to charge us the price of their existing roll which is $17--which is insane! Would not recommend coming here unless you are desperate. read more

A hidden gem in Northern Michigan! The restaurant is very clean and bright , adds to the already great atmosphere. My wife and I happened to be here for Restaurant Week and were not be disappointed.
