I had considered the Hat Trick, which included bacon, hot dogs, and ground beef, but in the end, I stuck with the classic, but added extra cheese curds. I loved the crunchy and tender fries. However, I would have preferred a bolder sauce and melted cheese curds. IMO, the best poutines have cheese layered so there is a cheese pull, like in a good French onion soup, a mozzarella stick, or pizza. My sister's Stroganoff poutine was interesting and included thinly sliced steak, mushrooms, onions, two types of cheese, and a cream sauce. We both ordered the smaller size, but I was just not able to finish - so be sure to bring your appetite. We both liked our server, who ably tended to all the tables.
