Love this place in the Union Hill neighborhood! I had to go…read morearound the restaurant a couple times before I saw the parking garage, which is very close and convenient. Came here with a few friends for lunch. They weren't busy at the time. Welcoming nice atmosphere. Loved the added touch of the cute little container of flowers on each table. We started out sharing the deviled eggs. Two with Sriracha, two with smoked salmon, and two with bacon. Loved them! Also shared the brussel sprouts which were good, but it seemed like it was missing something. I ordered the artichoke carbonara. It was very tasty and rich. I've never had bucatini noodles. It holds the sauce very well because they're basically like noodle straws. The egg on top was an excellent added addition to the dish. I really wanted a dessert, but I was so full after eating. After I left, I wish I ordered one to take home. Next time for sure. Oh almost forgot our waitress was excellent.

Our server, Ashley (might be wrong spelling, sorry), was incredible and answered all of our menu questions like a pro. Food was excellent. Wife loved her crab omelette and my steak and eggs were perfect. We're for sure coming back for a date night soon to check out the dinner menu. There was ample street parking and we found a spot no problem. I'm not sure if they even have a parking lot since I took that street spot right away (hopefully the restaurant can clarify in comments).

It was the perfect night to sit by the windows and watch the clouds roll in as a thunderstorm approached. The service was excellent. Our server, Jenna, was friendly, attentive, and quick throughout the entire meal, making the experience even better. The food was delicious. We ordered the lobster roll, Braised & Blue pizza, meatballs, oysters with caviar, and the chicken and shrimp yakitori. We also had a couple cocktails- Spicy Paloma and Pineapple Express made with reposado. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, but the lobster roll was definitely my favorite of the night. Between the stunning rooftop views, great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, Prime Social made for a perfect evening in Kansas City. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it for a date night, special occasion, or simply enjoying the city skyline with friends.

Just wow. Close this…read moreplace or get a manager. In short. A Sunday evening. Stopped in for a bit of food. And let's give the food the 3 stars it deserves. It was OK. Exactly what you would expect from any fast food place that turns over cooks as fast as it turns over burgers. But this is a restaurant. Yeah, it is a country-themed, big, and wooden hunting-style restaurant. With absolutely nothing Big, Hunted, or Country on the menu. There is no heart here. Just whatever you could pick up for quick reheating from Sysco or Costco. And service... well, the most service we received was when one person stopped by long enough to ask us if our server had been by to get our payment. When we told her no... she didn't take our payment... she just said, "it figures" and presumably told the kid waiting on us. After she finished what she was doing with her tables, of course. Moral of the story... just go somewhere else. It will be a long drive to get to the next place. But you will enjoy it more.

Menu was mostly classic midwest/southern fare (not my personal fav). We split the pretzels and queso appetizer - so good! My husband had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatos and broccoli. He enjoyed all of it, but found the roll very bland. It also came with a cup of the soup of the day or salad - soup was a white chicken chili which was surprisingly delicious! My dad had a hot beef sandwich, which he enjoyed. Mom had sliders and onion rings and brought some leftovers home. The onion rings were very tasty! Service was amazing, staff was very attentive. We were there during a lull between lunch and dinner and there were maybe 3-4 other tables. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves!

Today's review comes to you from the land of manicured greens and pricing that definitely knows…read moreit's on a golf course. We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

Dining out at any kind of restaurant has gotten pretty spendy in recent years and I've tried to…read moreadjust my expectations. But when I pay the kind of prices they charge at Silo, I need to be wowed and I just haven't been the two times we've dined here--hence, only 4 stars. But hey... we got the top floor and could see the Ferris wheel and directly into other spaces of the hotel. The bathroom- supposedly luxury towels but were extremely frayed and thin. The amenities were fine but not special. The toilet is separated by a frosted 1/4 wall... but yet provided no privacy. It did serve to hide the look of the toilet though if that was merely a design decision rather than customer experience choice. The lighting was subpar. The internet was non existent and tv.. not even the option to stream your own Netflix. Which we needed because there was nothing else to do in the hotel (besides drink at the bar or swim with the rowdy kids on the terrace level ... or whatever that was). I woke up so tired after sleeping in the hot room (turned temp down as far as it would go, and had to kick off all covers) Just awful. When going to bed by 9pm and waking at 7am I should've felt rested and renewed. It was absolutely not my experience, nor my daughters. Overall, it's not at all the worst place... but definitely not near the top of nicest either.
