The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. On my first night, I missed the room-service deadline and needed some caffeine to stay up late working on a project. A very sweet person in Guest Services somehow arranged for someone to bring a few Cokes to my room well after 11 p.m. I was so appreciative. I do wish they had vending machines on the guest floors. I wouldn't even mind paying the exorbitant hotel price. I'm a caffeine addict who doesn't drink coffee, so I need my morning soda! I loved Red Wheat Baking Co. downstairs. The sandwiches and hamburgers were excellent, and it was so easy to run in and grab a quick bite. We also ate at The Stilwell, and it was wonderful. Our server recommended a delicious entrée and appetizers that really hit the spot after a long day at the convention. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, the front-desk staff was great, and they were even nice after the second time I lost my room key! Which we needed because there was nothing else to do in the hotel (besides drink at the bar or swim with the rowdy kids on the terrace level ... or whatever that was). I woke up so tired after sleeping in the hot room (turned temp down as far as it would go, and had to kick off all covers) Just awful. When going to bed by 9pm and waking at 7am I should've felt rested and renewed. It was absolutely not my experience, nor my daughters. Overall, it's not at all the worst place... but definitely not near the top of nicest either.
