He gave us alot of knowledge and informed us of many things good and bad with windows. I work from home and have a ton of meetings during the day. A representative from this company came to my house after supposedly doing a quote one street over. Fine, we get these sorts of solicitations. I'll always take business cards. He rang the doorbell twice, even after my very anxious rescue dog started barking (she can be obviously heard through the door, there's no reason to keep ringing the bell after she starts) and both me and my husband had to drop what we were doing to get the dog in her crate and answer the door. Annoying, but OK. The rep asked me if I was aware my roof was old and needing replacement (yes, having just bought the house I was well aware and actually am starting to look for roofers). The exchange was fine enough until I realize he is trying to get me to pick a time for him to come over the next day, do a quote, give him my info, etc. Basically, I'm working and can't really deal with this right now, I'm headed out of town tomorrow, just...not today, bad timing, man. I asked if he had a business card and he said, and this is direct quote, "No, I'm kind of like the human business card." (?????) Our interaction went south from there because I said, "Look, I'm working. I have a meeting soon. You're catching me flustered and this is a bad time. My dog was set off by this doorbell and will go nuts if you're doing a quote, so I need to plan ahead for that. I'll take down your company's name since you don't have a card." He then turns it on me and sarcastically starts trying to catch me in some kind of lie saying things like, "You were just saying you were interested. It's not like we're installing the roof tomorrow, just coming for a quote. I'll be here until 6 today, when can I come back." Anyway, not good business to go door-to-door in the middle of the day with "human business cards" asking for people's personal information. Yikes! read more

A Customer Care rep, Garrett, stopped by my home on 11/2/22 and asked me if I would be interested in getting new windows. I honestly was not interested in doing any more upgrades to my home since I just completed some other home remodeling work. However, he was kind and said the quote was free and lasted for a year. I figured I would meet with the remodeling team to get an estimate so I could budget for the work next year. 2 days later, Donny came to inspect my home and do the presentation on what was needed. I was pretty impressed with the presentation and the customer care touch points. They did give me a quote to do the work within a year but of course if I decided to do it sooner I would get a better rate. Nice sales pitch. I went for it. Honestly, it wasn't just the thorough presentation and discount that made me decide to do the work sooner. They found black mold on my windows which, is no good, so I knew I couldn't wait any longer. One of the best things about this company was their attention to detail and doing exactly what they said they were going to do. My new windows were installed on 12/6, about a month later. Had windows installed today after they came to my door a few months ago. The entire experience was excellent. Andy gave me a great presentation on how the windows work and an outline of the company's values. The costs of the windows was given to me and the warranty was explained. Can't be a Transferable Lifetime warranty. The price was right in range with an Anderson window but these windows are much easier to clean and operate. Very happy with the entire experience. Update 12/9: first they were going to come dec 2 to fix the issues and then pushed the date to today. They brought the wrong molding and told us to use the rekey piece to change the lock downstairs and it isnt working. This company is beyond ridiculous. The project manager isnt here and there is a new one so I had to explain the whole story again. Now they are going to return dec 30th to fix. ---- An unfortunate update. We had windows installed which went great and decided to get our front door and basement doors updated. This is currently happening as I write this. They are going into hour 6 for just 2 doors. They broke our doorbell. The basement door is missing a feature that was included with the order. I'll update again as the drama over 2 doors continue. Continue: they didn't have a piece to secure the front door handle so now we have to wait for it to come in and the handle jiggles. The trim was removed to inspect the doorbell and put back now its cracked and ugly. We have to wait for new trim to be ordered. The doorbell wiring and button is broken. They tried to act like they didn't do it. Called the project manager who wasn't on site and he says "No big deal, its $5 at home depot we will reimburse". YES JOHN IT IS A BIG DEAL AND NO ITS NOT $5 ITS THE WIRING AND CASING. They gave the same keys for both doors. When I called John and told him this his response was "So?" They didn't install the kick plate and left it on our washing machine. And the kick plate itself isnt a screw on it's a magnet that sticks to the door and doesnt even cover the entire bottom, contrary to examples we were shown. Besides the project having a number of screwups that So just guaranteed we won't do anymore projects with them. Maybe they're nice for the first project to lure you in and after that it's just straight up idgaf attitude. read more

We chose Power Home Remodeling to do our siding & roofing repairs. The sales reps were super nice and knowledgeable, plus their products looked nice. When it came time for the project, we had some minor hiccups. They were late a few days, we couldn't communicate with the crew, they kept mis-scheduling the dumpster pick-up and delivery so there was stuff sitting in our driveway forever, then literally as the crew came back to load it (they were sitting in their car about to start) the dumpster people took it back. But the project ended up looking good so we brushed it all off. It's only been a few weeks since they have finished the project, but now we have several MAJOR concerns. Water started flooding in through the electrical damaging our circuit breaker. Electrician came out, unable to fix all of it due to the severity (the neutral is literally hanging on by a thread after most of it having been ripped out). We called & emailed on 12/1 to see if power could help us fix it.... still no response over 3 weeks later. Now, our roof is leaking through the chimney. It's going down damaging our drywall and leaking into our basement. So thats going to be another huge project. We have been in our home over 5 years through many storms and even Ida. Not once has is EVER leaked. We did this to make our home more sturdy and better for the future, but it's so doing so much damage to our house. Never again!!! read more

Fine I get it things aren't shipping on time. The next time they didn't come during the allotted time and changed it to later in the day. They came late they couldn't finish the job the windows are incomplete. They were coming back the next morning at 8-10am. NOTHING. We call again. Oh now it's 2:00-3:00. They are not here AGAIN. The woman on the phone said the office closes at 4....it's 3:00 and they are closed no one to call. They ended up coming after 4 and working into the night to finish. I think these workers are overbooked and the company is not communicating well between the workers and the customers. And to top it off I got the payment plan information and it is not the amount that was discussed. read more

This is poorly run company and they do NOT care about the customer. We were told one thing at the time of signing and they did a complete other, they are full of lies! They will NOT work with the customer and are over priced. When trying to talk to a manager they refused to have an actual manager call us back. The sales associate told us and put in writing everything we wanted to hear to get us to sign a contract, and then the contractors knew nothing about it. When we called corporate we were told there is nothing they can do.. take it or leave it. When we asked to not be spoken to in that manner we were told if you want sassy I'll give you sassy. The only good thing they did was cancel the contract with no fees. All this because we asked for a specific install date and they wouldn't budge. read more

I paid a very high premium for my 3 slider doors because I trusted that this company would stand by its warranty. Well I only had them for a few weeks before my dog tore into it, ripping the screen. Even though I told the salesman (before he gave me a price) that I previously had, and will continue to need, the special pet screens. I first called in May, the message says to contact them online. So I did. A few times. Finally in June since I never heard back I called. After being on hold for a half hour I got the next available appointment in July. A couple of days before my appointment I got a call cancelling it. They rescheduled for August. A day before that they cancelled. Well, they say they left a voicemail but I never got it. After I called wondering where they were and waited on hold for 10 minutes I found out I'm rescheduled for October 8th. And its not just the ripped screen, one of the doors is really difficult to open. So we're going on 1/2 a year that I'm waiting for a warranty repair. read more

It's basically like a harassment when they come to your door. The pitch took an hour,although I told the guy that I had a newborn. So I decided to cancel my plans. They harass you with phone calls to make sure the "man of the house" is home. So I finally picked up at 7 am, only to have them waist my time by telling me that the decision maker should be home. I am glad that I didn't even have my husband accommodate his plans to be there because my neighbor's roof looks like crap. I am glad I dodged that bullet. read more

We had then install a new roof and gutters. About a month after the gutter and roof were done I notice that one of the soffits was hanging off the house. I ask then to fix it and they did then about 7 month later the same soffit is hanging off the house again and the REFUSE TO COME AND FIX IT because they didn't installed the soffit to being with . Yet the soffit wasn't hanging off the house anytime before hey came and put the new gutter in. The icing on this cake the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone said she could care less if I put up a bad review up on the web. read more

The reps talk you through the entire process of what to expect on install day. Only hiccup on the install day was the installation team wasn't aware that most of the existing windows had rotted wood in the stools and needed to be replaced.
