Look. I don't write Yelp reviews. I just don't do it. But DAN from Power Plumbing came to my apartment today and went absolutely above and beyond to fix the existing issues. He cleared a very complex garbage disposal clog--involving other units in my building and complex piping orientations--took as much time as needed to completely solve the clog--didn't cut corners or try to rush through it. He was communicative about what was going on so I wasn't left sitting wondering what he was doing and why. THEN he fixed my tub drain. It hasn't worked properly since I moved in 5 years ago. Every time I complain, the rental company (not Power Plumbing) sends someone random my way (again not Power plumbing) and whoever they send mutters something about the pipes being old---not much they can do---they snake the drain---and still there's no improvement. But Dan immediately diagnosed the issue--something NO OTHER PLUMBER HAS YET DONE--and restored my drain to it's full potential. It's literally been YEARS since it's worked properly. I am no spring chicken but my experiences with plumbers is very sketchy at best. I was so impressed with this service that I will recommend them at the highest level. My guy, Greg, was on time and so polite that I felt I was in a long ago Los Angeles. He went to work and did not show any distress when he had to go up my very steep hillside to turn the water off. In fact, he was smiling when he came back into the house. He did the job quickly and cleaned up when finished and went back up the hillside to turn the water on! The reason I am making a big deal about it is that I have 20 stairs up to the front door and another 14 once you get to the door. It's always tough when you have to call on a Plumber. When we moved to our home years ago Jorge came into our lives late one night when we had an issue in our home caused by a neighbor. While we've been blessed to not have to call on Power Plumbing for their services that often over the years. This week we reached out to have some regular maintenance done on a angle stop. Jorge and coworker arrived and as usual did a wonderful job correcting an outdated angle stop valve and updated parts inside the tank. We are greatful for Jorge and the Power Pluming team for taking care of my family over the years. We highly recommend them. Absolutely fantastic. I called and within a few hours, Julian was there and ready to fix the issue. Our AC water line had backed up and when he fixed it we resdiscovered an issue with our shower drain. He jumped in and fixed that immediately too. The shower had been bothering us for a while but we were forced to throw in the towel and call for help once that AC line started spewing water. So glad we did call. He was very professional and kind. He asked if there was anything else going on, and when I told him that the toilet wasn't filling with water all the way he jumped in and fixed that too! He even noticed that our water pressure was really low and fixed that in about 2 minutes. He's detail oriented, on time, professional, sociable, and very very good at what he does. Special thanks to Dan, the night that I was frustrated due to sink clog got resolved. I came back from work tired at night, noticed unknown Alfredo Chicken Pasta smell from my sink which I would never cook that at home. Second thing I noticed that the water started to flow up and I was extremely worried. I contacted my management immediately, shortly after an hour Dan arrived my unit with perfect manner. The clog was very very deep, felt like at least 5ft, Dan was able to resolve the issue with good skill and made me and my sink very happy. I sincerely appreciate that Dan was able to make trip at late night and finish the job with awesome skill. I have had other plumber came to my unit but was not satisfied. Jason had a replacement garbage disposal in his truck which was a huge time saver given our busy schedules. He too determined that several pipes needed to be replaced due to clogs. As a woman, I so appreciated the fact that not only did Jason take the time to explain the plumbing issues but he backed it up by showing me exactly where the clogs were within the pipes. Jason also resolved a long standing plumbing issue with the drain backing up by snaking the drain pipe within the wall.
