As a first time pet parent, we wanted a trainer that had the knowledge and experience to help us with our Gerberian Shepsky. Anthony is a seasoned vet who knows dogs. I mean REALLY knows dogs. I think he trains the owners equally as well, explaining how human tendencies and lack of knowledge contribute to a dog's bad behavior. He's assertive, and teaches you to be the alpha of your pack, as it should be. The dogs respect him and respond well to him and his methods. Speaking to him in person was a real joy, because he would tell all his methods and reasons why he would teach our dog in his way. A total people person who took the time to introduce himself and credentials. As we decided to pull the trigger on having him as our trainer for our dog, he came to our house for pick up. Anthony made us feel at ease knowing our dog was going to be with a good trainer. During the 3 week period, he gave us updates and videos to see Kilos progress and very quick to respond to our messages. On the day he dropped off our Kilo, he gave the run down of all his methods and all the do's and don'ts. He took his time to explain and gave my wife an I a training on how to apply all that he has taught our Kilo. Anthony answered all our questions and made sure we were catching on with all the commands. Again, Anthony left us with the knowledge and confidence to live a happy life with our Kilo. Best and most honest trainer! Anthony called us and would send us update videos and photos throughout the process. He told us what we were doing wrong and how to correct these issues. We have a very aggressive and untrusting dog. My husband and I were concerned maybe the training wouldn't work so well since Anthony said our dog was fighting him every step of the way. When we picked him up, Anthony spent 2 1/2 hours teaching us how to continue training at home. He taught us what we can do to better our dog ever more. We have a 86lb German Shepherd who we could hardly control. Since then, it's been about 2-3 weeks and we have noticed a drastic difference. Our dog listens to our commands. He doesn't run after dogs anymore, he isn't as aggressive with people. He's been so much quieter and less anxious. Anthony gave us the option of calling him any time we hit any bumps in the future. He gave us an unbeatable price and did so much better than we expected with our anxiously, aggressive dog. More importantly, he taught us how to continue and refresh training from here on out. Anthony is amazing. He created an instant box with our brindle pittie mix - Bella. Bella is a 7-year old rescue dog and had developed some bad habits from her past owner. She is fearful/aggressive towards other dogs. We signed her up for Anthony's 4-week intensive training program. Anthony worked with Bella in all of the situations that we were too afraid to try ourselves. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat. He did all of the repetitions that we could not do ourselves - we work full time, 2 dogs, 2 kids - a bit over-extended ourselves. During the program - Anthony gave us updates, sent us pictures and videos. When Bella came back, she is much better behaved. And importantly, Anthony provided us with the tools/tips to communicate with and understand our dog. We highly recommend Anthony. Why did I choose to send my dog to training? Simple! He ran the house, and aggressive towards other dogs. Upon showing up to Anthony, my dog was even sketch of Anthony himself. That didn't scare Anthony away, respect! Before training, my dog would see a dog from any distance and would want to eat them alive, he also wouldn't listen to me about 90% of the time in the home. It has been about a month post training, and I couldn't be more satisfied! This dog will walk right next to me, and I don't dread seeing other dogs on walks anymore. He sits and lays down with absolutely no issues on the 1st command. The best part is, not only have I been able to walk him with my parents dog with no issues, he had an unleashed play date with another dog without any incidents! On top of that, I told him "down" when it was time for the other dog to leave, and he stayed down next to me the entire time while the dog left. I couldn't believe it. My dog has been obedient, and a lot more calm. Anthony was worth every penny, best investment I've made in a while and I can't believe I waited as long as I did to get some training. We have a Siberian Husky that would pull my arm out of my socket everytime I took him outside on a leash. In just 15 days Anthony trained him to respect the leash, and our commands. Anthony was unbelievable when it came to training our 10 month old pit bull , she learned super fast and was very responsive to his training methods. What he does really helps you instill a solid foundation of obedience with your dog which is going to help him/her listen to commands easier and train them the way you want. Would like to just say a big thank you to Mr. Anthony for getting our boy Mason trained and under control. When we first searched for a trainer, we called Powerhousek9 and immediately got a very cordial person who we could talk to about our poodle's excitement once he heard the doorbell and not listening to us. Mr. Anthony suggested that we meet up with him at our earliest convenient time. He came over and evaluated Mason. He suggested that we sign up for his 3 wks boarding and train. Thankful and got a very nice dog that is no longer reacting whenever the doorbell rang. On top of this, he is now so obedient that he comes when told and will now sit when we tell him to sit. I have the cutest Golden Retriever puppy. My only problem is that he was the boss. I was embarrassed with our behavior and couldn't take him out without issue. We participated in Anthony's boot camp and we have a new life. I can't believe how he listens and waits for instructions. Today he went to the groomer and the commented on his improved behavior. The greatest thing that Anthony did is allow my daughter to feel comfortable with our dog. Our dog was so hyper before training with Anthony that my daughter was afraid of the dog because he was out of control. For the first time he has been crate free all day. Three weeks ago, we had Anthony pick up our black German Shepherd for a 3 week bootcamp. My wife and I usually had a problem walking our dog when he sees other dogs and starts barking and dragging us. Once we got our dog back after the 3 week training it made a huge difference when we now walk him. He follows our command and he stays right next to us and not in front and dragging us anymore. K9 powerhouse gave me a satisfying result with my dog darla an english bulldog.. i adopted darla 2yrs ago ..from a nice couple who unfortunately have to give darla for adoption... i came across in their ad and immediately contacted them and got darla adopted .. darla was very sweet dog and nice and friendly with people untill i wasnt aware her agression towards other dog.. so my fear of darla of encountering the unsatisfying fight with other dog... which will entail a lot of financial ramifications...so i have to look for someone who will help darla aggession .. so i met anthony through his website .. and ask him if he could help me ... so he said he offers a 3 week boot camp at first i was hesitant but for darla sake i went to his ranch in vacaville... so fast forward ... in one week i saw results. I worked with Anthony for serval weeks and my puppy had learned all the basic commands that he needs. Anthony can teach your dog all the tricks and commands that you want, but its up to you as a dog owner to continue to review with your dog everyday on what Anthony is teaching. We brought our 4 month old doberman Nala to him 3 weeks ago, I was planning on writing a review after a week so I could really see how my dog changed, see the difference but oh well Im writing my review after a day since we are happy on how she is doing, well compared before. She was a good pup when I was handling her, I watched a lot of videos about how to handle a doberman, she waits on her food, she waits and sits at the door, she did try to challenge my authority, tried to jump and nip on me but since I address it, she didn't do it again, but she is so different with my husband, since my husband has low energy, she sees him as an easy target, so she jumps, nips on him, bites his shorts, it was frustrating because I was not able to control her, she became worst when my father in law came, since she sensed my in law was afraid of her, she became so dominant to a point where Nala started to test me and challenged my authority. She started to pull on walks, bite us on walks when we correct her and pretty much do whatever she wants. So me and my husband decided to bring her to Anthony for the 3 week bootcamp before she gets worst, but most of all I was afraid that because she is so strong, an accident might happen to my in-laws the moment she jumps on them. We trusted Anthony so I did not really bothered him and ask for a daily update but when my husband asks for it, he sends us a video on the progress. Then after 3 weeks we finally got our pup, before going home he taught us what we should do, we did a little bit of practice there and corrected us. The first day, she did try to get back to her old ways but slowly we corrected her, we are practicing the commands he taught us and she is doing it. But when she saw my in law, Bam! Jumps again, we know she was excited and we corrected her, we took her for a walk, she did try to nip at us, again correction is needed, it wasn't as bad as before, it is a work in progress. Like what Anthony said, he will build the foundation but it's still is up to us as the dog owners to continue the training and to not let the dog tell you what to do. Today, after work, I did what Anthony advised and she was so good following the commands, me and my in-laws hanging out the backyard while she was on a down position, she doesn't jump anymore (hopefully), usually if someone goes out she runs and jumps on the person, so I did a test, I opened the door and baam she was just on a down position just waiting for me to pet her, I did it so many times. I was so happy that's why I am already writing a review after a few days instead of a week! Thanks Anthony for your help! read more
