I hired this company to come out and spray for spiders and ants, roaches, etc. The guy came out and sprayed the front, backyard, garage and inside the house in like 15 minutes which I thought was really fast. Immediately in the next couple of days, I noticed more spiders and build up of spiderwebs in my backyard. I contacted powerline, and they said they would come out and respray. Unfortunately, the guy was a no call no show, which is bad business especially when you have to take time off of work to make yourself available for a company. I would not refer this company to any of my friends or neighbors. This was very unprofessional and not service you would expect from a reputable company. read more

I have had this company for my pest services since I bought my house 6+years ago. The price hasn't changed once and he (Patrick) is always extra thorough. He cleans all my spiderwebs and always sends a reminder text to let me know the day before my scheduled service. I tried giving this company my business, as I am a supporter of local businesses over big name companies if given the choice. When scheduling my appointment I inform the gentleman that I live alone, and that I would prefer their latest window for my appointment. The window given to me was from 2-4 in the afternoon and I specified that I would need him or whomever was coming out, to give me a call ahead of time, so that I would be there and we wouldn't miss one another. I never received a call prior to the companies arrival and because I didn't get a call, I didn't get home from work until 230 that afternoon. At around 315 I decided to call the business to see when they would be coming out and I was informed that they were already there and no one was home. I told them I was home at 230 because no one called me, and he said he was at my house at 2. He doesn't remember me asking him to call ahead of time, but assured me he would call me back when he was back at his office to get me rescheduled for another time and I agreed. I never received a call back to reschedule for another day. I can understand the misunderstanding of calling me ahead of time, but to tell me yourself that you will call me back to reschedule, and never do so is just bad customer service. I can't speak on how well he does as a business, but he seems to be lacking in customer service. read more

Patrick is amazing . He takes care of any pest problem we have and he literally gets rid of them for good . His spray and bait he uses are miraculous . Before Patrick we used 2 other pest companies that reduced the amount of earwigs and spiders but they were still crawling around. The first time Patrick came over the bugs were literally stopped in their tracks and we haven't had a problem since. Oh we once had ants invade our kitchen and Patrick came right over with an ant bait and they were gone immediately !! Short version - Patrick came over and walked around the home, discussed the work, and agreed to a quarterly service plan with me. About 5-10 minutes into the job he rang my door bell and told me that he no longer wanted to complete the work and that he wouldn't be servicing my house. The reason was simple, it was more work than he wanted to do, even after I offered to pay more money for the service or do some of the work myself. Full Story: I called Patrick because of all the positive reviews that I saw related to his service. Unfortunately, I had to create a yelp account just to share my experience. Patrick was easy to get a hold of and answered my questions over the phone admirably. I agreed to his pricing and scheduled a service for the next day. Over an hour into the 2 hour block of time he agreed to arrive in he called to tell me that he would have to cancel my service for the day due to an emergency with another customer and reschedule with me. I understand that things come up, and based on the situation he described with the other customer I agreed that they should be the priority. Today he showed up within the block of time that he said he would, we discussed my problems (spiders) and I walked around the house with him to get his opinion on if the service would help. He agreed that it would, but right off the bat stated that because of the amount of spider webs that he wouldn't be able to knock them all down with his brush and that they might need to be pressure washed. I told him that I understood, and I had no problem with doing that myself. I just asked that he do what he could (as removing spider webs is part of his normal service) and that I would make sure and take care of the rest before his next service. He agreed and said he would get to work. I went inside to continue working and told him to ring the bell if he needed anything, including water because it was hot outside. I asked before I went in how long he thought the job would take, Patrick said about 40 minutes total. After about 5-10 minutes Patrick rang my doorbell. He told me that he no longer wanted to service my house and that it just wasn't going to work out. He told me that he didn't want to do 1/2 a job, because his work is his reputation. I told him that I understood he might not be able to remove all of the spider webs and I was fine with that, to just do what he normally would and I would remove the rest. He insisted that he'd have to turn down the work. I then told him that I was willing to pay him extra for his extra time if he insisted on doing the job the right way, which he also refused. He just reiterated that he wasn't comfortable doing 1/2 a job. I once again told him that if it was the concern over the extra time spent, that he just needed to tell me what he wanted to charge for the additional work and I would pay for the web removal on top of the service cost. He still wasn't interested in completing the work that he had already agreed to and he left. Unfortunately, I don't know what else I could have offered to have him complete the work that supposedly he normally does as part of his service. I felt that I was more than reasonable in first taking on the responsibility myself to remove the webs via power washing, and second offering to pay more if he really felt that he wasn't comfortable leaving the job unfinished. My only conclusion is that Patrick simply doesn't want to do work that is time intensive or more than simply coming over and spraying some pesticide around. If you need more than a simple and basic service, be warned that it may simply be more work than Patrick is interested in doing that day and he will cancel your service. read more
