I hate to write this review but after this experience I feel compelled to. I've ordered numerous bouquets from various different florists before so I understand that sometimes there can be a little variation in what you receive from what you ordered online. I'm ok with that. This was not the case with this florist. In this instance I felt completely ripped off, hence the review. We ordered the "rose rapture" and paid extra for the deluxe version. The description and pictures from their website show a gorgeous bouquet of "lavender and pink roses" and the size for the deluxe version as 18x18. What I received was a bouquet that was significantly smaller than expected. So much so, that I had to bust out a measuring tape and saw that what I actually received was a bouquet of orange, yellow, pink and red roses that measured 11x17. Was the bouquet cute? Sure- it looked as cute as an inexpensive bouquet I could have picked up from any grocery store. Did it look like the $200+ bouquet we picked out from this florist? Definitely not. So, I called and spoke with a woman about my dissatisfaction in what we received. The woman wasn't unpleasant...but she also wasn't apologetic or sympathetic. She was more defensive than anything. She said that the reason the bouquet was smaller than I expected was because she decided to put it in a smaller vase so that it would be sturdier. I'm sorry, but that makes no sense. You're telling me that in order to receive an 18x18 bouquet (as advertised on their own site), the sturdiness would have to be compromised? Anyway, she offered to take back the flowers and make me a new one or refund our money. Lacking trust in the florist and turned off by her excuse, I decided I'd rather just take the refund. I didn't find out till the following day, after they picked the flowers back up, that they would not offer a FULL refund including the extra fees and delivery, but only a refund for the flowers itself. So at the end of the day, we were still out about $50 for nothing. Disappointing experience to say the least. So if you're thinking about ordering from them, don't. I've included pictures so you can see for yourself why I was so unimpressed. read more

Wow this one was a new experience - I've ordered from many flower shops before and this one deserves a story: Ordered a 96$ bouquet with 15$ delivery, "Deluxe" as advertised on Precious Petal's website. Picture below. It was delivered today, picture below. Please be the judge of the difference between advertised photo, the price, and the delivered bouquet. It was cute, for a 30-50$ bouquet from a grocery store, but certainly not a 100$ and certainly not as advertised on their website. I called the shop to ask if there was a mistake, spoke to a friendly employee who told me something along the lines of "it's not actually them with the online orders..." "...a third party places the orders" (?!?) and that her boss will call me back. I received a call from Christina, the owner presumably, who started counting each flower and their prices (the advertised bouquet is one price), and tried to tell me I actually got more flowers than I paid for and that sometimes pictures aren't exactly as we imagine them. Hold up, there's a difference between artistic vision and what this was - I pointed out that besides the striking size difference, the description says there should be sea lavender in there, and she said nope, this bouquet does not have lavender in it. THEN! And here is the kicker, told me that if the recipient of the flowers is not happy with them, she is welcome to return them to the shop for a refund! What delivery florist would ever say something like that? Obviously the recipient is trying to enjoy a gift and not get involved with a florist drama! What if this was a funeral or a birthday bouquet? This is a matter to be resolved between the customer and the company, not a recipient who did nothing wrong and just tried to enjoy the occasion. After that horrible "solution" statement, I told Christina that what I will do instead: that I will write an honest review, post pictures of what is advertised, what was delivered, and let people decide if this is as advertised. Additionally, that I will also be filing a charge back with my credit card company, pictures included; and let me tell you, did that unleash a spirit. The tone changed immediately, voice raised, no longer having a conversation- instead I've been told I am threatening her and she will sue me for defamation(?!), that I was yelling, not telling the truth (I mean look at the pictures). She also said all she did was trying to resolve the situation - by again, telling me to tell the recipient of the bouquet TO RETURN IT to the store "IF SHE IS NOT HAPPY". At the end she yelled 'GOODBYE" and hung up on me. Who does that, florist or a business owner? Is that a proper way to resolve a clearly, blatantly false marketed bouquet? If the pictures posted online don't match IN THE SLIGHTEST what was delivered, then either change the price of the bouquet to adequately reflect its price, or deliver as advertised, it's that simple! So yeah, I wish luck to this business moving forward with practices like that, the reviews will reflect the reality soon enough. Staaaaaay waaaaay away. read more

This is now my second order with Precious Petals. The attention to detail and quality of flowers is just unmatched! I've used several florists and I will say that this shop has moved to the top of my list. I received a phone call from Christine to let me know that the arrangement I chose couldn't happen at the time because some of the flowers weren't in season. So, I gave her creative freedom to do what she wanted. I'm no expert, nor do I know names of flowers. I did mention that the colors of the bouquet I initially picked caught my eye and that's it. She personally delivered the arrangement to my wife's office today and EVERYONE was blown away! My wife was shocked and amazed, called me on video and I couldn't believe my eyes. Rick and Julie are AMAZING. Their prices are very reasonable, and they didn't charge us for needing to change our wedding date due to covid. Anything I needed to change or add up to two weeks before the wedding, they took care of right away. And finally, they really blew my mind away with how beautiful the flowers ended up being. It was beyond what I had in my imagination or my Pintetest board. All the flowers, including bouquets, boutineires, alter pieces, cake garnishments, and petal placement on the aisle were lovingly arranged for us by Precious Petals. But what's even more wonderful than all of this is how Rick and Julie fall completely in love with all of their clients and just pour their hearts into the flowers they impart. Owners Julie and Rick went above and far beyond all expectations and delivered such incredible bouquets, centerpieces, and quite possibly THE MOST GORGEOUS altar arrangements I've ever seen for our wedding this weekend! They met with us multiple times to make sure our wedding colors matched the floral arrangements and the types of flowers that were featured at our wedding and, let me tell you, they delivered on EVERYTHING. The prices were beyond reasonable - especially since COVID hit our wedding and forced us to reschedule three times - and whenever we needed to add an extra bridesmaid bouquet here or a flower crown there, Julie was immediately on top of it. We shared our Pinterest mood board with Julie and Rick and they took every bit of inspiration from there and absolute ran with it, delivering floral arrangements that had EVERYONE at the wedding talking. I researched a local florist for same-day deliveries for a special friend who endured the loss of their 16 year old pet. I ordered sunflowers online that looked gorgeous. I placed the order around 9:00am, I called the business around 10:20am after they opened to confirm the order and get an approx delivery time. I believe I spoke to "Julie"(trying to remember) who expressed that the shop was out of the bamboo vases that the arrangement came with, but she would be happy to run to the warehouse to get more... That was awesome, great customer service and very accommodating. I can't say I would do the same for one order/arrangement. The flowers arrived to my friends place in the approx window, which was great! They looked better than I imagined they would.... (photos included). The gorgeous flowers were enjoyed for 3 days until they started to wilt and droop (photos included). I was expecting at least a week, as that's a common expectancy for arrangements (even at farmers markets) especially ones that are $75+... The pet died, then the flowers 3 days later. Price Gouging is the name of the game here!!! Located in the corner of the shopping center that also holds McGregor's and Chiba sushi, this tiny flower stand is a rip-off. I needed filler flowers just to decorate a platter for a friend's party. For $9 I got 4 carnations and some greens. SICK SICK SICK. Can't say enough about the little flower shop on the corner. Always nice and friendly. I'm one of those weirdos who likes to buy my wife flowers for no reason at all. Every lady gets flowers for their birthday, anniversary, or Valentines so be different and buy some "just because" flowers. Tip: Giving your sweetie flowers for no specific reason will put brownie points in your bank for the next time you screw up. (and there will be a next time) Aaaaanyway, I stop by this shop as it's conveniently located near my home. I do have a higher than usual knowledge of flowers for a man but I still don't know what's best. The easiest thing for me to do is tell the ladies how much I want to spend and what kind of "mood" I'm trying to present and they take care of it. No matter what I'm asking for, they hit it out of the park. Beautiful arrangements and they also have plenty of flowers, vases, and balloons to choose from. This place also delivers so this is good news to me. I've been burnt in the past with delivery services. Ordered online from Pro or 1-800 Flowers and what I paid $75-$100 looks nothing like what I saw on the website so I just got in the habit of riding down and overseeing the arrangement being made myself. After dealing with these ladies, I think I will try their delivery service. (Review will be amended if it doesn't work out) So that's it. Fellas, do your self a favor by being proactive. Buy your lady some flowers, send it to her work and enjoy all the adulation from her co-workers: "Your boyfriend/husband is so sweet". You'll get big headed and she'll think she's really got somebody special instead of the big lump sitting on the couch. Lastly , remember to check in on Yelp to receive a $10 discount on an order over a certain amount. read more
