    I had a new furnace installed and that was fine. Somewhere in the process of asbestos duct abatement and installation of new ductwork, the main waste line was broken. It was in the basement and crawl space, an area seldom visited by anyone. It leaked for over 3 months an when discovered, I reached out to Precise Air, who refuses to return my calls or respond to written correspondence. I am so disappointed and will never use them in the future. I wouldn't recommend them either.

    Avoid this sales person.  He lies and is rude on the phone when you call him out on things he promises you.  Horrible sales person.

    My overall experience started off as excellent, then went to poor, and then finished off with excellent. Hence I feel Precise Air deserves 5 stars for being excellent overall. 4 stars: I ordered Precise Air through Costco Services as they are a Costco trusted and approved HVAC company. Their Sales rep, Oscar Villafana came to my home in August 6, 2024 and was extremely nice to me, explained what HVAC was recommended to replace my old and broken HVAC system. I am a people person and suspected he was a typical sales person who was only nice to people in the beginning to get the sales and would disappear after sales occurred and provide no post sales support. However, since Precise Air was partnered and backed by Costco, I decided to move forward even after their prices were quite high and I had other competing and attractive offers from other HVAC companies that worked with Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Oscar had presented me a couple government rebates that I would qualify for and the time frame of when I would receive them as "HE" would submit them for me once the work was completed. Also getting Costco SHOP cards was attractive as well. 0 stars: My HVAC system is set for auto cold/heat based on temperature. After a couple months (on October 19, 2024), when the weather got colder, the system fired up the heat pump and I noticed it was blowing COLD air instead. I then turned off the system to prevent the house from getting even colder. Called Precise Air about the issue. They sent someone a couple days later to inspect and repair. The issue ended up being a default switch on Lennox systems being set to just do COLD air only. This switch was overlooked by the installers and was needed to be flipped so the system could auto blow COLD or HOT air based on the weather. 5 stars: On October 21, 2024, Precise Air technician, Zachary Uhrig, arrived to my home, spent just 15 minutes and knew exactly what the issue was. He quickly fixed it and everything was now working as it was supposed to. I am extremely happy that Zach is so knowledgeable about the hardware. 0 stars: On December 16, 2024, I called up my sales person from Precise Air, Oscar Villafana, to inquire about the $1000 TECH Clean California rebate in which he explained to me "HE" would submit on my behalf (only contractors can submit for this CA rebate) and I would receive it in 3 months. It was now 4 months. He ended up arguing with me claiming that he never said that he would submit anything, then later retracting that statement and saying when he mentions "HE WOULD", he meant the company would do it, not him. He also mentioned that he is "just a sales guy, and not responsible for this" and would not take accountability for anything to help me. He then told me to contact a junior admin in the Precise Air office to track down the status of my rebate, then retracted that statement and said he would ask this junior person to call me. He hung up the phone, called the admin person, called me back and mentioned that the admin person would call me back in a couple minutes because he was now "stuck in a meeting". I stayed on the phone with Oscar for another 5 minutes mentioning to him about how he needs to take accountability for his statements again, and when he didn't accept my suggestion, I told him if this continues, I will have to report this to Costco directly. His response to this was "GO AHEAD, call Costco." I then had nothing else to say and Oscar hung up the phone immediately. 5 stars: The Precise Air admin called me back after 10 min of when my phone call ended with Oscar. I wanted to test the comment of Oscar saying that he was tied up in a meeting and would call me back when he was out of it. He told me that he was not in a meeting but packing up equipment to his car and was off to meet an inspector for a different HVAC job at that time. He was calling me back from his car. Hence this confirmed another lie from Oscar about making up statements and facts again. The admin mentioned he does not know the status of my rebate and would follow up and call me back by the end of the day. The call was short but I could tell he was very junior and nice. NOTE: -- on the morning of December 17, 2024, I then had a conversation with Costco directly about this incident and informed them of all occurrences. Since Oscar told me to call Costco and report this as if he didn't care, I did! 10 stars: Shorting after my call with Costco, I received a callback from Precise Air rebate manager, Narek. This individual is truly a superstar employee! LONG story short, he mentioned he understands my frustration, listened to my explanation patiently, and said he will instruct the company to cut me the rebate check paid out to me personally even though the CA rebate was still pending (which would be paid to Precise Air, not me). He also assured me that I can call them (the office) directly and they will always support me anytime.

    We are very thankful and appreciative of the owner and professional staff of Precise Air. Our air conditioning system went out during the week of the heat wave 113 temp. It was awful, but my husband and I contacted Greg at precise air and also they were recommended by Costco too. They took care of the problem the previous air conditioning co. We were with and they had place the wrong unit.

    Josh Torres and his team are some of the best . Clear communication , friendly staff, and excellent work.. I can't Recommend them strongly enough...

They helped me understand options and worked with me on what I wanted. They did what they said they would do. They were flexible and took the time to finesse the work where it was needed. Good quality work. Permits went fine, and everything passed the first time. My 1930 property has a 2-story duplex and a house. I live in one unit and have renters in the other units. I talked to several companies about the work. So Cal Air was more responsive than other companies. Menooa was very knowledgeable and helpful during the first meeting, offering me options. Their proposal was competitive with other proposals. They helped me understand options and were flexible, and worked with me through the installation of what I wanted. They installed 3 separate systems for me, one system for each unit. Each system had 3 zones. I've had many repairs to my property over the years, and the details matter to me. I wanted to hide the lines as much as practical, preserve the architectural look. My contractor handled the electrical installation and opened and repaired the drywall after the lines were installed. SoCal Air worked well with my contractor. Renovation of older construction is often complicated and takes extra effort. We had to come up with some creative solutions, and SoCal Air did a great job! My units were installed above doors and windows. My contractor modified the living room cove ceilings so the indoor units would fit close to the ceiling. So Cal Air did everything else. Everything fits great and looks great! I appreciated that Manooa gave good recommendations to steer me away from difficulties, but he also listened to me and headed my wishes when it mattered to me. So Cal Air handled the permits for the heat pumps. The installation passed the LA Building and Safety inspections with no issues. The work was finished late summer, early fall of 2025, after the heat, but in time for winter. Heating worked great in winter. We had a chance to use the cooling during a recent heat wave, and it worked great! I bought the heat pumps primarily for cooling, since the apartments had only heating and had never had cooling before. The units work great! The temperature stays very comfortable. Everything is very quiet. I barely know they are on, except when I open the door and am shocked by how hot it is outside. My tenants gave me positive feedback and have been very happy with the heat pumps. My property still looks like 1930, but it doesn't feel like 1930 anymore! I am very happy with their work and the results. I've recommended So Cal Air to several friends.

From the initial consultation through installation, Menooa and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also enlarged one of my return air vents to meet the higher airflow needs of the new HVAC system. The work required widening the opening in the ceiling and installing a new return grille. The crew handled it neatly and professionally. When they finished, it looked like new. The new system is working great, airflow is noticeably improved, and the entire project was completed fast and as promised. It's not often that a major home improvement project goes this smoothly. I would recommend So Cal Air to anyone looking for HVAC installation or replacement.

Shay was extremely thorough in his inspection and called out the best possible system improvements we could do for our old home, including brand new attic insulation and duct work. He was extremely patient and helpful while we worked on the financing of such a big but important home improvement process and was there to answer questions/concerns every step of the way. When we finally were able to hit the green light on the project, no time was wasted. Shay scheduled all the work (including a crane!) for the following week and the incredible team completed it all in 3 days time. Huge shout out to the entire team including Adonis that absolutely killed it with cleaning up the attic and installing new insulation, and Kamo and team with the intricate HVAC electrical work and overall installation. The entire crew killed it and can't beat a 12 year warranty on such a big purchase.

This update is to further document and clarify the significantly poor HVAC installation performed by Southwest Heating and Air Conditioning during the summer of 2021 at my residence. A comprehensive inspection by a licensed and reputable HVAC firm has confirmed the following serious safety violations and breaches of California Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Codes resulting from Southwest's substandard and negligent work: Documented Violations: 1. Bypassed Safety Controls, creating a substantial risk of fire, explosion, and system failure. 2. Improper Electrical Wiring within the burner box, posing a direct fire hazard. 3. Improper Condensate Drainage, which resulted in significant water intrusion and structural water damage to the property. 4. Undersized Return Ducting, creating airflow restriction, energy inefficiency, and potential for equipment overheating. 5. Improper Duct Layout and Disconnected Supply Vents, severely impacting system performance and overall safety. I spoke with Michael, the owner of Fuse Service, by phone and explained my situation. He arranged for a technician to come out right away, and throughout my interactions with the Company, the communication has been outstanding--worthy of five stars in today's world! The technician arrived on time and, according to my tenant, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Once the technician determined the problem, Michael called me with an update and sent two very detailed and clearly worded estimates. I never felt pressured to replace the furnace, even though I knew it was only a matter of time before I would need to. Having done my research, I had an idea of how much a new furnace would cost, including installation. I was very relieved to find that Fuse Services offered a very fair price for a new unit, which ultimately made the most sense for me. My next concern was ensuring my tenants wouldn't be without heat for a few days, so I wanted the process to move forward quickly. Michael was able to start the installation that same day, and they completed the entire job by the end of the day. I assumed it was the AC unit sitting right above it, so I contacted Pioneers in a mild panic. They quickly put me in touch with Tomer, who showed up that same afternoon to take a look. From the moment he arrived, Tomer was calm, kind, and completely professional, which is exactly what you want when you're stressed about water dripping through your ceiling. He diagnosed the problem efficiently: our AC drip pan had overflowed due to a clogged drain pipe. He walked us through everything as he went, answering every question we threw at him without making us feel like we were slowing him down. He needed a couple of additional parts he didn't have on hand, so he promised to return Monday morning to finish the job. And he did, right on time. When yet another part turned out to be needed mid-repair, he didn't reschedule or leave us hanging. He went out, got it himself, and came straight back to finish what he started. No drama, no delays. While he was up in the attic, he also flagged some rat droppings and other pest concerns. But not in a pushy, upsell-y way, but just as a heads-up. "Here's what I'm seeing, I can get you a quote if you want." Refreshingly straightforward. Tomer turned a stressful Sunday emergency into a resolved problem by Monday afternoon. Thanks Pioneers H&A!

I hope others will still consider giving them a chance, and if issues arise, I'd recommend reaching out directly to discuss possible resolution.

Please look at my profile for proof…read more I had a really regrettable experience with Air Elite Heating and Cooling--would strong suggest not using this business for any kind of product install. I paid $11,000 for a job that really is substandard. 1. Danny came to do my quote and was very nice, but when actual installation came he was not onsite. A very young and inexperienced guy installed the units basically in the middle of the wall. I was not consulted asked before the guy tore huge fist size holes in my wall that are in no way standard placement for mini splits. The guy moved the unit, I had to pay for the walls to be repaired and repainted! 2. The condenser was placed on the ground in the driveway. Again--I was never consulted about where it was to be installed. It should have been installed on the side of the house--it limits the function of my driveway forever. I cannot get my recycling/trash out if I am parked in my own driveway. 3. The drains that were placed on the outer wall of my house were installed so poorly that they constantly fall off. They were not adhered at all. When I put them back up, they are fitted so shoddily that they cannot be secured. Every time I pick them up and try to reassemble them--I can see how jankily they were put together. One of them is now cracked and water is spewing all over my wall. For nearly $11K spent, I feel really taken advantage of and bad about the integrity of their work. I contacted them in advance of this review with all of these points--they never responded.

His professionalism, knowledge, and clear communication made the whole experience very pleasant and stress-free. Daniel far exceeded our expectations -- fast, efficient, and genuinely customer-focused. Highly recommend him and the Air Elite team for anyone needing HVAC service!
