I scrambled to find an auto repair store and I stumbled upon D & D Transmissions. A man named Dave came out and looked at my car. He diagnosed the problem right away and told me he could fix it within the next 3 hours. I would also like to add that when I looked at the store hours posted on the door his shop wasn't supposed to be open that day, but he gave me the help I needed. Sure enough he gave me a call an hour earlier than expected and said the car was all set to go. It was fixed up and I traveled home that same day with no issues! I give my highest regards to Dave and D & D Transmissions for helping me out in a time of need!

Regardless of the issues I could not get anyone to answer my cries for help on the normal online forums. Maybe the symptoms were something folks have never experienced? Regardless, I have an aftermarket transmission which makes me nervous about going to the dodge dealership. I noticed positive reactions on Yelp for D&D Transmissions and decided to try them out. I noticed that D & D does much more than just transmissions. The owner was very respectful of my worries and my controlling attitude. I normally like to do work on my vehicle. But due to my living conditions I cannot do this type of work. I came to him with an idea I had a failing governor solenoid. The owner quoted me over the phone for the work before he even had time to look at my vehicle. I dropped it off and he did some quick diagnostics, called me back before doing the work, and then proceeded to follow my wishes. His quote was decent at $400. This included replacing the governor solenoid, governor sensor, fluid, and the transmission filter. Just the cost of parts would be between 200 and 300 dollars. The job was completed within a decent time frame and they accept all major credit cards. After all the details above, I recommend D&D Transmissions. Although I have only one experience with the repair shop, I will be going back with any vehicle issues. It is difficult to find trustworthy auto shops around this area. Most are mainstream "chain" repair shops with people that don't care a lot about the work they do. D&D clearly has an owner who is caring and takes pride in his work.

They take care of all of our cars. I have 2 kids driving very old vehicles, and I never worry because of the guys at Camms. They have never let us down, and also they have never been wrong about a mechanical issue. If they say your car needs something, it really and truly does. All of the mechanics are polite, and I have never heard any colorful or rude language, even in the background. Do not use this company. They RIPPED OFF My Mom for $400 for a 9 Mile tow. We were quoted $125 plus $3 dollars a mile. When they arrived at my mom's house (mom is 81 years old) they hooked up the car on the flat bed and then, demanded $400. My mom told him that is not what my daughter said she was quoted. My mom told him to take her car off the tow. The driver refused. My mom felt stuck, I was on a plane on my way to Arizona and couldn't take her call or help her, so she handed the driver a credit car. He refused the card and told her she needed to get cash. My mom had to pay him cash. In addition the driver REFUSED to give her a receipt, so she can't even get reimbursed from her insurance company and when I try to call them they hang up on me. The probably do not give receipts because they are probably not reporting the income to the IRS. I will be reporting that possible issue as well!
