Took them a new build computer I couldn't get working (CPU debug light). They had me order a new processor and a new motherboard $800. Had it for 2 weeks. Called and said, well it's not those parts, you can come pick it up. We don't know whats wromg with it. Precision Electronics has been fixing my dad's laptop for years. My dad is 90 years old, and Precision Electronics recently moved to a new location and my dad could not figure out how to get there. He doesn't use GPS, he doesn't have a smart phone, and he lives alone. So he called me hoping I could help him get there. I was able to give him directions however, as you know, mapping in the map app on a smart phone can be confusing and the directions weren't exactly right. So I called Tim at Precision Electronics and through a three-way phone conversation, he graciously helped guide my dad to their new location and even met him in the parking lot, so that he didn't have to wander around the new complex trying to find them. Jim I think was his name also gave me some helpful knowledge of what I should do and not do with external hard drives in which I had never known. Overall, I was glad I tried these guys! I love having these guys in town. They have worked on 4-5 of our units for our business for over 10 years. They have incredibly fair bench work prices and we usually have our equipment back with in 24-36 hours. They are smart and honest and do darn good accurate work. Really read through the 2 negative reviews and ask yourself as a business owner what you would do. These guys are fantastic. And hello, they are techs not salesmen so don't expect to be shmoozed with a bunch of talk to make you feel good - they have work to do and everyone else wants their equipment back just as fast as you do. read more

I've been bringing my computers to Tim & Jim for years now, both for my personal and business computers. I've had a system crash, a malware mess my laptop, and recently my fiance's work laptop crashed. Each time they were able to revive lost causes and at a very reasonable price. They delivered on time and as expected, even in a rush. The whole time they would call me and give updates as needed, and explain the technical details "in English" when requested. I don't sense they're pushing unnecessary upgrades or services. In fact, while I was there Tim literally gave a customer a new-in-box router for free. Tim is the friendlier of the two. read more

I can't say enough about Precision Electronics. Every time my computer breaks down, Tim and Jim fix it ASAP and do the most excellent job at the best price in town. Poor communication skills in stating what will be done to your computer, poor/inaccurate quotes. Current knowledge of problems poor, I was able to google the problem , and show them the fix. Poor interpersonal skills, very unprofessional. One owner had an attitude that was not acceptable in a business environment.. Unprofessional dress code and lack of grooming. You have to go through one workers cig smoke to get into the shop, my computer smelled strongly of cigs after I got it back including the case. If you are allergic to dogs, there are two in the office, one jumped on my new car. If you like dogs cramming their noses in your crotch, then go there. No warning outside for those allergic to dogs. No handicap parking. When I picked up my computer three days later (they promised two) they had forgotten to do what I brought it in for!!! They apologized. So more time was needed. They also wiped out all my programs, which was not told to me when I first brought my computer in. I've had to reinstall a lot of programs. I do NOT recommend this company. I have since found a great IT person, who does not have an overhead (rent) and does not charge very high prices as these two did. I will not recommend this business. read more

THESE Guys are the best! They told me how to put in my own keyboard on my lap top and charged me nothing. They will charge for diagnostics $30 but put it toward repair.They will let you order your parts on eBay and then repair for you. They are very friendly and courteous too. Took my laptop in to have the charger port repaired. Estimated cost was $40.00 to $80.00 depending upon what had to be done. Jim just called and said the laptop is ready and the cost is $43.60. I appreciate their honesty. WAY TO GO JIM AND TIM! read more
