My car was hit in a parking lot and additionally I had 20 years of deferred dings and dents on my 2004 Toyota. I had two big body shops in Santa Rosa give me bids and Marshall's was almost 1/2 the price and they are local. When the car came back, the job was incredible! The car looks so great. I had thought about selling it prior but I am keeping it now. The guys know how to fix things and make the car look new. I purchased a vintage Jeep on consignment from Cliff the owner, I left a deposit and arrived to pay the balance and pick it up a week later. When I was on my way, he told me he shouldn't have sold it and it wasn't available anymore, even though I had left a deposit and was told it was considered sold. After a huge hassle, he told me to come pick up the Jeep. After I paid, he gave me a photocopy of the title even though he claimed to have the original on hand before the purchase was finalized. Additionally, his office was very hesitant to give me a bill of sale after it was fully paid and loaded. Upon pickup, Cliff revealed that he didn't actually have the title and it would be overnighted to me by the following Wednesday. The next Friday I still had not heard anything from him. A week passed after that and that Thursday he finally told me he had overnighted the title. End of day Friday and I still hadn't received anything. When I contacted him, I was met with severe attitude, he lied to me and said it was postmarked Thursday. He told me he would provide me the tracking number which he never did because of course as we find out, it was never shipped. The following Monday. I advised Cliff it was his last chance to provide me with a title before I contacted the DMV and reported him to the state BAR. 30 minutes later, the title was post marked and arrived at my address the next day, after waiting 3.5 weeks. Cliff was rude, dishonest and I don't suggest anyone do business with him. The engine and transmission had to be removed from the misrepresented Jeep subsequently as many problems were found covered up and many things were broken. read more

My experience at Marshall's was exceptional. I actually had two vehicles that needed repairs done, and he got them in back to back. Cliff, the owner is a great communicator and always kept me up to date on the status. The repairs were completed in the timeline he estimated, and the quality of the repairs was extremely high, including those done on my wife's Mercedes ML350. When I picked up the vehicles, he had photos he went through with me that explained everything they did, the disassemble, prep, paint, and re-assembly. As a business owner with company vehicles, I've worked with several body shops over the years, but I've never come close to having such a great experience overall. Cliff said he would take them off one day and repair and replace after fixed another day. I didn't lose use of my truck which was great! When I came back to pick up after everything was fixed- I was blown away! It was as if the truck moldings were brand new! He even sanded and buffed out my oxidized headlights! My deceased husband who used to own one told me how to recognize a GOOD Body Shop: clean, dust swept away 1st thing AM, cars aligned properly outside, NO old junk pieces or dusty rusty old car waiting for years to be worked on, sitting around in some corners (and I have seen some other huge big name Body Shop in the area with 6 garage doors and 4 of them filled up with metal junk and lonely dusty old cars with spider webs just sitting there, and a filthy Employee who did not even know whether he was coming or going at 8am), Employees looking clean busy and happy - who wants to entrust their car to someone who can't even focus or can't take care of his own appearance before taking care of my property -. The shop does not have to be glitzy, big or showy, just professionally organized including the office. Clifford Casolla the Owner is so professional, his customer service quality so high, I had a very good feeling leaving my Lexus 300 there. He was on top of the claim right away (from his vacation spot at the time) organized everything with the insurance from where he was, did a perfect repair and paint job, helped with other things my car needed, showed me the work in progress, and due to my working hours past his closing time, even sent someone to deliver the car to my work. Never thought I'd walk away from a fender bender repair feeling happy and with a big smile on my face. I was told by my insurance adjuster and a referred body repair shop that the car damage was not repairable and that all parts had to be special ordered and replaced. I got estimates for approximately $4,300 and another for $3,300, and both said it was a 4 day job, for which I'd have to pay to rent a car. I found Marshall's Auto Body in Glen Ellen, who fixed the car in 2 hours for $180!!! Cliff was willing to figure out creative ways to reattach everything and make it safe and solid. Unlike the other places, when he heard I just wanted it safe, and didn't need cosmetic repairs, he was willing to do only the necessary repair work to make my car look, feel and act exactly as it was before the accident. Cliff and his co-workers are all extremely pleasant people. I felt heard, respected and appreciated. I am so grateful to Cliff for transforming the horrific experience of the fender bender and previous estimates into an extremely pleasant business transaction. Without out a doubt the most friendly and honest body shop I've ever been to. Cliff is always willing to talk cars or about your particular issue. I had my Toyota Highlander detailed here at Marshall's. My car is not even two years old and yet it was so terrible on the inside with stuck on food, milk spillage, I don't even know what else,( I have a 3 and 1 year old), but it definentely did not look or feel new anymore. I never had a detail done with any of my past cars, just basic car washing so I was a little nervous as a good detail costs a bit more. I heard wonderful things about the new owner Cliff and it was recommended that I give them a try. I am soooooo glad I did! Best money I have ever spent, worth every penny. My car was given back to me in unrecognizable condition thank god. It looks and feels brand new. I could not believe how clean they got the carpets and leather. It was as if no kids ever inhabited the car. Not to mention the polish job on the outside. I don't even want to let my kids back in lol!!
