A simple oil change for my son's Mini Cooper became increasingly complicated when two Jiffy Lubes turned us away. The turbo engine sitting on top of the oil filter made it difficult to access. Vanik is a unicorn! It always feels like you are bringing your car to a trusted (and smart) family member. This is maybe my 10th time going and he always gives an honest opinion- which often doesn't benefit him. One of the last times I brought my car in, the AC condenser was broken. He said he can fix it, but it would probably be in my best interest to go to Mini and insist they fix it even though it's not under warrantee anymore - since it's not a part that should be breaking on a 5 year old car. I came too late in the day yesterday for Vanik to get it done because he had to order the pads, but he made a commitment to make my car a priority the first thing this morning once the parts arrived.
