The National Grid gentleman arrived in less than an hour from notification. His first question: do you have a humidifier? Answer: yes. Turns out the gas flame was being affected by the minerals in the humidifying mist changing the flame's color to orange. No matter, after banging my head against the Keenan wall to no benefit, I called Jolt, whose work I've also seen and looks terrific.
