I wonder why Yelp does not allow zero stars because this business really does not deserve 1 star. My story as it happens to me: I have warranty on all of my appliances. My dishwasher went bonkers, no worries. I call my warranty company and they outsource the repair to these people. Here is where my fun started: first email reads do not take a day off or count on the appointment you reserved and confirmed with your warranty company because we will not honor it. "GREAT" start. Then barrage of email saying the same thing your appointment you requested and reserved is not our appointment and we will not honor it. /me getting concerned by now but ok... get text messages again don't even think about the appointment you scheduled we will not honor it but what is the issue with your appliance. I describe it as best as I could being the sound it makes when it's running. Another text message from them "can you take a picture and send it. By this time I think I know who I'm dealing with so I reply back with no picture since it's sound that it's making then I get a great phone call from a woman rep- pay us 50$ for us to confirm your appointment and tell YOU when we can come. Ummmm I ask first why am I paying ahead of time and not when services are rendered!! She gets all bent out of shape gives me bunch of non sense and then says take it or leave it. Guess What folks. OF COURSE I leave it. I told her heck no. And that the only thing I will leave is my honest feedback on the customer service they provide. She hangs up. Called my warranty people and they said this company without my approval already ordered parts and started repair. Guess what without appointment confirmation or my approval for a cancelled call. Trying to rip off insurance company??? They seem to think so so try insurance company opened investigation into them. Good luck. I had a fantastic experience with Precision TV . The support and service using their customer service on checking my ticket online were exceptional. The service technician knew the problem with my 47" LG lcd tv (this is after fighting with LG , and 3 repair attempts , and the worst customer service you can get outside the U.S. on their service line. ) . Precision TV identified the problem on the first visit within 15-30 minutes. Precision TV immediately contacted my warranty company to authorize order of part. when I called they advised when it was authorized and when the part was expected. I followed the status on the easy to understand website and called after approx 7 bus days. The rep. pulled up the ticket , advised their was a tracking number and she would check if it was in. She verified quickly that the part was in , and booked an appt within 2 days for the tech visit. The tech called on the day of visit to line up the time and he showed up as promised. The tech explained what he was doing while working on my tv. After he was finished he tested the results and I could not believe it. This was the first time since I owned the TV that it looked this good. No green screen, no traveling colored pixels moving across the screen. I had a problem with my 70 inch Sharp TV. As the TV was still under Warranty, I called Sharp and they contacted Precision TV for the repair. When I talked to their Customer Service Department, I was treated in a very professional and courteous manner. They sent out Shawn for the repair. He quickly found the problem and was able to get the TV working. He said the fix was temporary as he had to order some parts for a permanent fix. He was back in less than a week and installed the new parts. TV works great. I am extremely pleased with Precision TV's service organization--especially Customer Service and with Shawn. Our Samsung plasma TV broke down and because it was out of warranty, Samsung referred us to this company because they are certified to repair their electronics. The TV needed a replacement part that is no longer available and Richard, the technician, was kind enough to give us enough information on how to deal with Samsung. As a result, Samsung will replace the tv and we will pay a small difference. It is nice to see that Precision TV technicians are willing to help you even when they know that they will not be making any money out of it. Great customer service with honesty and integrity! I would highly recommend not using this company. Our appliance warranty company sent a television repair company to look at our wall oven. It started first with the service company stating our washing machine needed to be fixed. After numerous calls trying to correct this issue...which didn't get corrected. The service tech came to fix a washing machine and was completely clueless on anything about wall oven. After taking and submitting numerous pictures the service tech wrote up a report, which I have a copy of the report. When he left the service tech wrote a completely opposite bogus report and sent it to our warranty company. Once again I would think twice before using this company. read more

I had a tv that had a broken screen panel that would cost more than the price of a new tv to replace. I was disappointed that I didn't see the phone diagnostic on the webpage and ordered a house call, asking only for a quote on a new panel. At first, I struggled with customer service but in the end, I really want to thank the owner, Derrick B., for following up with customer service. He seems to care about his costumers. Now that I see that the phone diagnosis is available, I will use them and this service in the future. I did not actually have anything repaired so I can not attest to the quality of their work. Horrible experience with this company. We will never again buy the "insurance" for ANYTHING through Walmart. Precision was assigned to us through Walmart. Our 70 in TV had a white solid light on the bottom left corner of the TV, nothing would appear on the screen itself. Had to unplug the power cord to get the TV to work. Precision made us take the TV down since it was on a wall mount, sent a tech out, the tech LITERALLY took a glimpse at the TV wrote the serial and model down and left! Less then 1 minute. There was no need to bring the TV down for that. Tech did not order the parts until 3 days after. Took about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to get the parts in. Tech came back out to install. AND GUESS WHAT??? A few weeks later, we have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!! Such a hassle dealing with Precision AND Walmart with their 3xs service before giving us our money back. Can't express how frustrated we are. Precision tv is a has horrible customer service. There service techs are great but they are at the mercy of the company. I have a 1+ year old whirlpool refrigerator whose ice dispenser and ice maker quit working, the warranty company assigned the repair to Precision. It's been a month and the ice marker still has not been repaired. The details and adventures dealing with Precision are to long to go into but believe me that are very similar to those experienced by all the pervious negative reviews. My Tv needed to be Repaired after they came out and looked at the tv they contacted my Warranty company for the part I wanted to see how much the part was going to cost and if i had any out of pocket cost beyond my warranty I called Precision to ask and I was told they don't speak with customers I would have to ask My warranty company for that Information after speaking to my warranty company to get that information I called Precision to schedule and I was told by Nick that they closed the case and would not come out to repair my tv and I would have to call my warranty company to reopen the case My warranty company has Paid 1,127.95 total cost Per Nick he said that my Warranty Company Might not assign them to come out Per my warranty company they Have Paid for this repair. Precision never called to say they were closing my Case for my tv !! So we had a serious boo-boo with our 3-month-old Samsung 4K UHD TV. While moving it the TV screen somehow managed to develop a huge "spider crack." I'm very pleased that Precision Television is able to make the repairs. I found Rashad M. to be an extremely helpful, knowledgeable customer service representative who got the part ordered and walked me through the process. He gave me good information about Samsung's part shipment policy (which sounds like it's pretty fast), and he was extremely courteous throughout the process. I know that customer service isn't the most glamorous job in the world, so I appreciated it that Rashad was professional, took his job seriously, and treated me like a valuable customer. The display on my Samsung television needed to be replaced and was still under warranty. Samsung allocated the job to Precision. My dealings with Precision were very good, they called promptly to ask me some questions and then schedule an appointment. They followed up and noted the item may be back-ordered and could cause a delay with installation (it did not). Precision was who LG scheduled our warranty repair with. It took a while for all of the parts to arrive to Precision from LG and there wasn't much communication in between but Precision was very thorough when they did communicate and they arrived within the window of time they said they would, respectfully "invaded" our kitchen to fix the stupid thing, finished in the time they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, were friendly and professional, and gave us an explanation of what they did and what to expect for the next several days as the thing started running again. These guys had to travel over an hour to us from Concord so we are very grateful for their work and would definitely use them again. read more

Awful service. I had to use them because LG contracts with them and I have an LG TV. Don't use them for anything if you have a choice. The company will call and text you to set up an appointment slot (with no care for what works for your schedule) once your warranty provider has notified them, and then they will miscommunicate everything. Precision messaged to ask if a time slot the next day was available, I said no and told them what times did, they never replied, the next day their tech called to say he was on his way to the appointment I never booked (they call only 20 minutes ahead of time and expect you to drop everything and rush home). Then it was canceled and I was told they would reschedule. They never contacted me and I had to contact them four separate times to get an answer. To top it off, this same sequence has happened a few times. The techs might be competent but the customer service is absolute garbage. read more

I usually don't post negative comments, but here goes. On Sunday, 3/26, I called Best Buy about a TV that went black. They gave me Geek Squad's number. Because I had a warranty, they offered to schedule an appointment over the phone for Sat, April 1, which I did. On Monday 3/27, I got a phone call and two texts saying "PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE DAY OFF..... We will call you in the next two business days to diagnose... etc etc.and to click on this link to schedule an appointment..." (confused because I already did schedule an appointment with a live human being the day before). But, I followed the directions, clicked on their link and scheduled an appointment (again) for that Saturday, April 1. Fast forward to later that day, 7 hours later, Monday 3/27. mI get a text from Precision again, confirming my appointment for 3/28 (!_(the next day, not Saturday),saying their technician Enrique will call me 30 min before my appointment, I text them back immediately saying I'm confused, that I actually scheduled a Saturday appointment (twice) and it was confirmed, and wasn't sure why they were sending a technician tomorrow (3/28). They replied with a piece of interesting news... the technician is not available Saturday. I said, thank you but it would have been nice to know that before I scheduled (twice) for a Saturday. They assured me they would cancel and reschedule for Saturday. Then the next day (Tuesday, 3/27 at 2:27 pm) they text me saying they are confirming the Saturday April 1, appointment and will text me the night before with a time frame. That was great news however, at 4:00pm on Tuesday, I get a call from Enrique who is 5 minutes away from my apartment (remember, this is Tuesday and I am at work). I talk to Enrique, apologize and say I'm sorry your scheduler screwed up...I am work. Can't be there..etc etc, So then I call Precision and talk to someone (voice raised this time) explaining the entire debacle. She is sympathetic and assures me that someone will be at my house on Sat, April 1. Then I get a text saying " You are scheduled for Sat. April 1. Phewwww... This is all happening on Tuesday afternoon, while I am at work. I text back "Thank you. I will wait for his call Friday for the appointment on Saturday" They reply "No problem. thank you and have a great rest of the day.." Fast forward to today (Thursday 3/30) at 4:50pm. Within 5 minutes, I get two voice mails (which I miss because I am WORKING, AT WORK) and a follow up text that says "This is Precision Services. We are confirming your appointment for 3/31/2017. ....." I AM READY TO POKE SOMEONE'S EYE's OUT. 3/31/2017 is Friday. Why is this so difficult?? And of course, by the time I see the text and listen to the voicemail left to me at 4:50, it is 5:06 and Precision is closed. And I can't leave a message. Nice. Honest to god, this is the most painfully frustrating and stupid series of events I've ever experience related to a company. Terrible. I do not blame Enrique the service technician. The communications from Precision is the worst disorganized mess I have ever seen. I give them zero stars without even having them come to my house. If I could rate this company at a MINUS 10 I would. So they get one star. I purchased an extended warranty for my washing machine. I called the warranty company last Thursday and they confirmed an appointment between 8 - 12 on the following Tuesday with Precision TV. I received a text message from Precision at approximately 9:30 am on Tuesday morning requesting I send them a picture of the model/serial number from the washing machine and to contact them to schedule an appointment for my appliance repair. I called them to confirm my appointment had been scheduled for today. I was told by Precision that was not the case. They had just received the work order request today (LIAR) and they would be able to send someone out on Thursday for a diagnostic only and a second appointment would need to be made for the repair. If they had to order a part it would take an additional 3 - 7 days for the part to come in. The Precision representative was extremely rude. I attempted to clarify the process/timeline with her and she replied, "I can repeat what I just told you." By them not honoring the original appointment it is forcing me to go 1 week without a washing machine. To order the part would add another week to that and at least another 4 - 7 days to reschedule the repair appointment. That equates to a 3 week repair timeline. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! I will not deal with this company again. What kind of a repair service doesn't carry basic parts on their trucks for whatever it is they repair. I contacted my warranty company and they rescheduled me with a G.E. repair service technician. I told them that I would much rather deal with a rude repair technician from Sears than deal with these incompetent idiots at Precision. When you purchase an extended warranty you need to inquire as to what companies they contract with for repairs. read more

Now that Mitsubishi knows that they have a chip problem, I only spent 10 minutes with them on the phone. Precision emailed me 2 days later and made an appointment date and said the tech would call the day before to let me know what time he would arrive. He gave ma an arrival time of between 9-10am and arrived at 9:15. He was done in 45 minutes. The entire process was done in 6 days. I would have no problem calling precision for service. read more

The customer service rep (I believe it was KJ) who called to initially schedule the appointment was very kind and professional. She had received the wrong spelling of our last name, and was very apologetic about it. She was friendly and genuine. She stated that her tech would be calling later that day to set up a time for the following day. Like clockwork, Sean, the technician called. I was expecting him to give me a 4 hour window, but instead, set a firm time of 9am. I was thrilled. I have spent many days waiting around for a repairman to show up within a given time frame only to have them call and let me know they are running late. Typically, it's more than half a day wasted. Do not use this company to repair your TV. Had a claim that Mitsubishi referred to them. Agreed with Mitsubischi to a maximum labor charge of $200. Tech was Hereford 15 min. And collect $65 for labor(Mitsubishi paid for the part). Company then sent me an invoice for $200. When I called to inquire and to tell them I already paid they immediately said I still owed the money and they would come to my house and remove the part if I did not pay. Saying they would bring the police if needed. I even spoke to the owner David Behras who said I was trying to steal from him! And that he would send me to collections and lt the chips fall where they may. Then hung up on me. Great customer service from the owner. All this because they already collected their fee and then sent me an invoice and i called to inquire why? Who is trying to steal from whom? Hey David, send me to collections to collect more than the maximum I agreed to pay in writing? Good luck. Send me to collections after I have a cancelled check showing I paid you and you have a fake invoice not signed by anyone in my house. Good luck. Absolutely loved the service provided. I purchased a tv of mine a few years back and hand insurance put on it through Geek Squad by BestBuy. They had Precision come out to my house and they determined the panel was bad. I called to see what would happened and they said they'd just switch it out. I expected them to be at my house forever, but we're here about 20 minutes at the most. I turned on my TV and it was amazing! Brand spanking new! I am changing my rating from a 1 to a 5. As a result of posting my review on Yelp, I was contacted by Derrick Behrens, the CEO of Precision Television. He worked with his tech manager to get a guy out on the same day, July 2. The guy was very knowledgeable, and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the problem and determining that it was the AT&T cable box. We were able to reset the cable box, and that fixed the problem. I am very pleased with both the responsiveness and the technical skills. Original Post: I have a Sharp 70" TV and the sound went out on it. I called Sharp warranty service on June 26 and was given an appointment for service on the morning of June 30. On June 29 I received a call that they would not be able to make the scheduled appointment and would have to reschedule to Thursday, and would call on Wednesday with a more specific time. It is now Thursday, July 2 and I had not heard from anybody, so I called Sharp warranty service again. They told me that according to the claim records, the service was on hold waiting for me to call back with a time. I told them that this was not correct, so they told me to hold and they would check into it. The rep came back and said that the office was not open yet, and when I said it was 10:00 AM, they told me it was a company on the West Coast, and they gave me the name, Precision Television, and a number I could call when the office was open. When I called Precision, the rep told me that they meant Thursday, July 9th. I told them that was not acceptable, and I called Sharp warranty service again, who is now looking for another servicer for me. I had purchased an extended warranty with Square Trade for my 60" Samsung TV. TV is about 2 1/2 years old. About 4 months ago, the TV stopped connecting wirelessly too the Internet. Square Trade sent Precision TV out to my house. The technician was Dave. He was very friendly and know legible. He replaced the Wi-Fi card and fixed the problem. I was contacted by several more supervisors and was guaranteed that the technician would be out today to repair my washer. Well today came and Kevin the tech showed up at 830 like he said he would and now my washer if FIXED. Hallelujah. Kevin the tech was wonderful He even helped me with with a problem I was having with my frig. The company even gave me a $50 gift card to lowes for all of the hassle I had to deal with. I hate that the Yelp review is how I had to resolve the problem. But it is good to know that Yelp really does work and companies look at these review. Just had Kevin at my house to fix my washer and he was amazing. He came in and asked if it was ok to keep his shoes on and if it is ok if he parked in the driveway. I of course said yes no problem..I explained the problem and he went to work fixed the issue and told me how to fix it in the future. I then was telling him about my fridge and he looked at it also. Directv sent these jackasses out to do a simple lamp replacement in a TV, they called and said they would be out between 8 and 12 so I took the morning off work to wait for them. I get a call from the tech saying he was 15 minutes out, so I told him I would be waiting. I see their van pull into the parking lot and park about 25 ft from my open door where I was waiting for them, and the tech just sat in his van and did NOTHING. Did not even get out of the car. Then he left. Next thing you know I'm getting a text saying they can't find me and I need to call in and reschedule. I called immediately hoping to catch them so they could just send him back, and it's a number to a phone room in California, while I'm in Arizona. Not even a local number. I get a recording that says the wait to talk to a person would be at least 20 minutes. I wait, and in about 15 minutes the call was cut off. This is clearly they type of bottom feeding outfit that relies on warranty work and 3rd party payers, so they could not care less about customer service, and they don't even attempt to act like they do. As to the quality of their work, I can only assume it matches the quality of their customer service, which quite honestly, was shit. read more

Terrible, terrible business. They seem to have the contract from the Geek Squad (Best Buy) for warranty service. In 30 minutes their guy figured out that the power supply on my Samsung television -- one year old -- was bad. He said the part was no longer available and I would have to get a new television from Best Buy with some credit for the like-new television. The "part" is a circuit board full of components that could fail but the guy made no attempt to fix the board. Fortunately I found an honest guy in San Jose (Blossom Hill Television) that rebuilt the board for $175 and the television works perfectly. These guys don't want to spend any time trying to repair anything, just pick up what is probably a flat rate of compensation for warranty calls. read more
