Don't bother reading those bad reviews, they're FAKE! Just another pissed-off transmission shop that is mad for losing customers to Precision. I have a '14 Nissan Murano with 77k miles and it had a bad CVT and needed to be replaced. Found these guys via a friend and was a little suspicious of the $700 LABOR quote to replace the unit because the Nissan dealer wanted over $2,200! It took 2 full weeks to get the job done, but I didn't mind because of the savings. Got my car back and I had a smile all the way home (54 miles). Ask them why it took so long and they showed my there schedule; there were 50+ cars in it. Now I understand why. I am a happy and satisfied customer! read more

C Scott W: This comment is for you: all these bad reviews are from real customers, including myself. The WORST owner and customer service EVER!!! And me personally, I don't ever write reviews. But I sure wish I would have known the name of this business before I got my car towed out all the way to Everett. The way these ppl handle business, they should and will get sued. Good thing for me, I had a gps tracker in my car and was able to locate its exact location. I couldn't sleep at night because of the way thw owner spoke to me and I just was afraid of getting my car thrown out somewhere in the middle of nowhere. STAY FAR AWAY. I've had plenty of bad experiences with resturants and other establishments, but I've never written a bad review until today. Bill at precision transmission has possibly the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. While having a discussion over his lack of communication about my car, he proceeded to start cursing me out. I never cursed back or raised my voice. I simply had my car towed from his shop to another transmission shop. The other shop is more expensive,but I will gladly pay it for even though I'm on a budget. This taught me a valuable lesson in respect and customer service. After this experience i read the comments on yelp and other sites and felt so stupid. I should've checked here first, but I'm glad i had my car towed out of there. It cost me 275 to get my car back, but i really like the people at the new transmission shop. They were helpful and explained the process to me. Do not go to precision transmission! read more

Trying to save someone the headache that this blockhead will give you. He is running a Typical bait and switch, "Oh yes, we're the best around! I promise you, it will never be more than 1900 to rebuilt your transmission, ever! "Oh wait! yes, well I forgot to explain that, it is 1900 max for the rebuild, oh you want the gear done too? so the tranny is done right? LOL, well that will be $300 more thank you very much, OH a Torque converter? How silly that slipped my mind!!!! that will up your "estimate" oh another $600. So! oh that 1900 max quote....it has now almost doubled to $3500, for them to rebuild your transmission, correctly, (Um if they are able to that)! We had to return our car the VERY NEXT DAY because it was slipping and would not go in REVERSE!!!!! Oh that warranty he's so proudly offering? well yes it's for 3 months {but WE'RE THE BEST} he tells us....Well, I think you should want a better warranty than the one I just offered you and guess what you stupid suckers!!!!! Oh and If you pay cash! those warranties will be half price, but otherwise the price is yet another $300-$600. My favorite scam so far though, Oh of course we offer free towing, oh wait, ITS NOT FREE!!!!! read the small print because we were told verbally on the phone the tows were free, NEVER THAT IT IS ONLY WHEN they've torn your transmission apart, stretched the original "guestimation" by thousands and THEN THEY TELL YOU, oh shucks folks, that free tow is ONLY if you get your transmission fixed here. If you decide that you cannot afford thousands of dollars above his original quote? Well pay the tow fee and you can have your car back, and it's not cheap folks, WHOOPS ANOTHER $350! added onto the $250 he charged you to just see what needs to be done to it, and of course it is horribly inflated. Trying to talk to bill, (whatever position he holds there at Precision Transmission in Everett), well, it is like talking to your 2 year old ADD child, while the TV is playing, and you've given the kid massive amounts of chocolate for his ADHD. You cannot get a word in EVER! I can honestly say that I have had the honor and experience of bill doing the best case of OVERTALKING you, LYING, calling you a LIAR, and then THREATEN you, profess his honesty, and then charge you more than can be imagined! As you can probably guess this guy and company have most likely been through many unhappy customers MORE than once, because he has all the answers down pat. "what? who me? na huh? I never said that, oh wait I did tell you about that! You're a liar, no wait I'm a liar, no wait, I've confused myself, but my name is bill and I'm honest! Do yourselves a favor, stay far far away from this smarmy, unscrupulous, lying, deceitful, worm of a man and the most dishonest, disrespecting, cowardly, dishonest wording or estimate giving I have ever seen in all my years. I really have no stars - 100. My husband just getting over bone marrow transplant. We had to deal with trany going out. We usually are better at judging. This guy is swindler, after 100 miles new traney it went out again 4 weeks later got the truck back. 2 weeks later went completely out had towed to Marysville. The place we towed it to said it was a mess like they had done nothing to it but make it worse maybe spray paint to make look newer. The gentleman fixing it for us now called the owner of Precision in Everett to ask what he had done to the trany and maybe get our money back. So he new where to start and all the owner had was dropping the F bomb whenever possible. So nice to deal with someone who can intelligently carry on a conversation with customers. Do not go to this person he is a con and once you walk in his office it looks and feels that way also. Too bad we didnt check out the place before we had our truck towed, live and learn. THESE REVIEWS ARE NOT FAKE! This Bill Wright and his Ashwood towing are quite the pair. Don't take your car here or have it towed unless you want your car taken two hours away and have it not fixed but rather have it held hostage till you then pay cash for services never done to your car. Got our car back in same condition and Bill Wright refused to even give a receipt to us till we handed him cash. Forget taking it for a drive with him to make sure it's fixed, he can't run away fast enough. He's a lying scheming low life who can't make money as an honest mechanic so he steals and lies. I wish I can give this company and Bill Wright a negative 100. Bill Wright went to my place and towed the truck when we were not home after telling my man that it will be free towing and free diagnostic. After I talking with him I hang up the phone because he was rude and threaten me to charge $462 or he will take the transmission and impound the truck. We called the Everett Police. We found that this man is known for parking people's car on the public parking illegally til the owner got lots of parking tickets. Another time he took one of the customers car and use it personally til they called the police. The car found driving on the highway of Arlington. Anyway, I reported him to BBB and Attorney General but so far every told me to get a lawyer to sue him personally. This guy is a professional scammer that is hiding under a legit business. He told me to pay or we never going to see the truck again. We can't find the truck anywhere. I want to ask if anyone want to join me to go sue this guy together. read more

never come here. i was treated poorly because i questioned estimate received over the phone. was thousands not close to ad price. owner held my car hostage until i paid him cash for free diagnostic. paid him $500 and never received diagnostic in writing just my transmission in trunk of my car to tow home 100 miles away. have pics to prove it. read more

I love Precision Transmission. They picked up my car for free and delivered it back no charge. I had my car at three other shops and they could not fix it. Bill really knows what he is doing. I rate this shop five stars read more

Stay as far away from these criminals as you can. I have never delt with such unprofessional crooks in my life. The games began with a telephone conversation with "Bill", in which he said they would pick up my car and diagnose the car for free. Sounded great. The tow truck arrived and my car was gone without any paperwork and no signature by me. Weird. The next day Bill calls and starts rambling about how I need a new engine. I ask what the issue is with the original and get a rambling response that only a meth addict might be able to decipher. I made a mistake and gave them the benefit of the doubt and Bill said he would get back to me to give me information about the engine. I waited four days, then contacted him asking what is taking so long and he finally sent me a text message saying that I would have to find the engine myself and they can't help with the process, else they be liable. Fine, I've never done this before, but spent a day looking for an engine and found one. After multiple phone conversations with Bill in which he increasingly became hostile and began treating me like a victim, rather than a customer, I finally sent him a text explaining that the engine would arrive that next Thursday. He responded "OK". Tuesday I get a call from Bill saying that if the car does not arrive by Friday, I have to pay for the service up front. I said that's fine. The engine arrived on Wednesday. At this point, Bill tells me that I need to immediately get into the shop to pay in cash before they will do any work. I said that he never told me that up front cash was necessary, and that's when he began lying and threatening me. I called him and listened to him scream at me for a while before he hung up on me. He basically told me that if I didn't bring cash up front, they would charge me $45 a day for storage, $150 for the tow, and $600 for unknown labor that they shouldn't have performed. At this point I had signed nothing, including an estimate. I told him that if he doesn't return my property to me in the same condition it was in when he picked it up, I would show up with my attorney and the police and sue him. Magically, 8 hours later, he emailed and said the work had been done and I needed to bring cash by Friday or they would charge me to store it, or sell it off. I came into the shop and was struck by how unprofessional it was. It wreaked of smoke and was filthy. Bill, I learned, was nothing more than a shop receptionist that struts around like he owns the place. The guy is very clearly a meth addict with severe mental illness issues. The bank hadn't opened yet, so my friend and I decided to spend the time looking at the car. Bill told us that the car is his property and he wouldn't allow anybody to see or touch the car until he saw cash. He then began screaming at us to stop playing games with him when we explained that the bank was closed and we don't have the cash yet. He began getting extremely threatening, and almost violent (which he is definitely in no shape to be doing). We went to the bank, got the cash, and came back. When I asked to see the engine VIN number to verify it was the one I purchased, they said it was not reachable, so couldn't be viewed. When I asked to test drive the car, Bill would not allow me to drive. My friend got in the passenger seat and I began getting into the back seat. Bill said he would only take one person. When I asked why, he said "because I said so". He then said he would not start the car until I counted out the cash for him. This is all paranoid behavior caused by drug addiction. After the test drive, I asked for a bill for services. Bill again went on a screaming tirade about how I'm playing games. I gave him the cash, he gave me a hand-written receipt with absolutely no information on it. Obviously, by now I had a very bad feeling about the outcome of this shop's work. Not surprisingly, by the time I got home the service engine soon light was on again, and it became impossible to rotate the key enough to turn off the battery and remove the key. There was also a severe burning smell. I took the car this same day to the dealership and it needed another $2200 of work because of this shop's negligence. The exact text from the dealership read: "Our inspection found a bad shifter assembly and shifter cable and needs to be replaced. You also have a severe oil leak on the valve cover - timing belt and tensioner was done, but bolts are missing in the valve cover. Doing the 105K service and these repairs is $2200 + tax." Once they have your car, they will victimize you. If they try to victimize you, you have options. They can't legally hold your car, or charge you anything without an estimate, their policy, and your signature. So when Bill starts screaming at you, contact your attorney like I did, and tell him to shove it. Do not let this insane person anywhere near your car. read more

When I call Bill at Precision Transmission I could tell he is an honest man. He quoted me a price much lower than everyone else. Bill stuck to his word. I am very impressed with Bills operation. By far the most outstanding repair facility I have ever been to. Called multiple places about my Mazda 6 and the average price was about $4,000. Called Precision Transmission and Bill quoted me $2,195. As I've never been to this shop before and this is a big purchase for me, I was a little skeptical. Bill reassured me that they would take this step by step with me. When Bill contacted me on the final phone call, he was $1,800 less than I was quoted by other shops. Drives great. I am ecstatic. This company needs to be investigated. After taking my car there just to be looked at, now has been such a headache. After being scammed myself I went to the BBB and attorney general for help (never in my life had to go there) I discovered it wasnt just me, that there are multiple other innocent people taken advantage of. Bottom line they scam you and turn around to call you the liar. They dont run a legit business. Trust your first gut instinct and run far away. They might seem great but really its all part of their game to hook, line and sink you. I warn you, if you take your car in, no matter the condition it's in, even running, you will not have a running car and you will pay triple. They will bust up parts and cause damage that never existed before. They will leave you with a pile of junk, causing you to pay more then the value of your car. Or buy a new one! When really all u wanted was a simple diagnosis and quote not even authorize work done!
