Wait time for my walk in visit was about an hour and a half just 30 minutes after opening(make an appointment) I was really looking forward to a cup of coffee while I waited..but they didn't have any Ugh! I don't think I will be returning to this location due to the fact they charge you extra for everything. My original assessment of these guys is still the same. But, today I went for an oil change and the service tech was underneath my car and the car next to mine with a LIT cigarette. There's oil and gas fumes in and around the service area, so why in the world would they allow this guy to smoke while servicing other people's vehicles? Is their insurance that good? If that wasn't enough, he had to snack on chips while working on the vehicles! Couldn't he have waited until the vehicles were finished or stepped away while the old oil was draining and did that? I used to love this place and would take both of my cars for service, but lately it's truly gone to s***. I recently took my car in and the man at the front counter was a total smart a** when I was asking questions. The oil change also took over FIVE HOURS. Perhaps they forgot to call me and let me know the car was ready? Not sure. The previous time to that, I took my car in for a smog check, not knowing that it would not pass if the check engine light was on, and so they charged me for the smog check even though it was an automatic fail. They didn't tell me it was an automatic fail until AFTER they had taken my car, and when the woman at the front desk asked if they could remove the charge since they didn't do anything to the car, the mechanic very rudely said no. (Not my first encounter with this rude mechanic.) I will be taking my business elsewhere and advising others to avoid this place. read more

I've been taking all of my cars here for years now and have always received nothing less than exceptional service . Most recently , I had a smog check, diagnostic test and repair of a pump completed. On this visit the work was completed by a mechanic other than my regular. Although I was pleased with his customer service, the vehicle 's issues were not clearly explained. However, I did receive a follow up call from my regular mechanic (Manny) and he was able to clarify the vehicle's issues. What makes this my go to shop ( and only shop I recommend to family and friends) is the thorough explanation of repairs and HONEST service I am provided. My 1989 Ford Ranger has been a great truck with little to NO maintenance. Has been leaking oil in a number of areas for the past 25 years, but road dirt coating the engine has been a great seal. Finally deciding to make her secure for'daily road use', took her to Kareem and Luis at EC PRECISION TUNE. Highly recommended by Brian C. at Dixieline lumber, they kept the truck 1 full week. Basically needing a lot of EVERYTHING...pulling the engine saved me on labor, and when all was said and done...I got back a nearly brand new truck!!! I took my R.V. 1995 Fleetwood Southwind here. They have excellent customer service. Manny the Manager went above and beyond any other Managers I've had to deal with at other R.V. repair shops. They are very honest, even calling me over to show me the extra work that was necessary to keep me safely on the road. And they explained why so important. Every employee there was so kind to me from start to finish. And I'm a 60 year old woman! The one everyone else tried to take advantage of. And the prices reasonable! This is the place to go for your vehicle and R.V. repairs. I used to do what everyone else did to find a trusting place. Manny won my confidence in them over the phone! It was a ugly hot day, I felt sorry for the mechanic that had to work in the sun and on the roasting hot black top on his back. Brought vehicle here for bearing and break inspection at 745 a.m. I was the second person in in. I called the day before and was told it was first come first serve. When dropping off thr car I was told I would hear back from them with a quote in an hour. Three hours later I had not heard anything so I called. I was put on hold for twenty minutes and had enough time to drive from downtown San diego to the shop and was still on hold. To my shock the car was sitting in the same spot it was sitting in when I dropped it off. The rep , which happened to be the same rep that took my keys, tells me that they had other vehicles from the day before they needed to work on that took priority which was a terrible and obvious lie. They had five vehicles up on lifts getting oil changes that arrived after I dropped off the car. The rep says "when I have an update for you I'll call you....". Unbelievable. And no apology. Needless to day I took my keys back and left. I don't think I will be returning to this shop because there is no level of trust. I expect they prioritize their Groupon oil change customers vs. Other services. You'd be smart looking elsewhere for service that is more reliable. read more

I first started to get my vehicle maintenance done here three years ago. Like most always worried whether you were getting a good deal or not. Precision became my go to for basic service needs oil change, tires rotated, etc. After awhile I started being greeted by name which felt more and more like a friend than just a customer. I have to say, these guys have earned my lifetime of business. Previous to coming here, I had a bad experience with Sears Auto flushing my transmission fluid. I don't know if the truly flushed it because every time I get an oil change, they claim it's dirty.... I found this place and I've been a customer for almost 2 years now. When it was time to get my coolant flushed, I went to them. A little mishap happened where the unopened fluid was left in the passenger seat of my car. I went into precision auto bc of my vehicle's rough idling i explained to them what was going on the the replaced the boots for the spark plugs.. I picked up the vehicle about 5 hours later and I was charged for the diagnostic and new boots but the vehicle continued to rough idle. I took my car into a different shop and left it there and got a call 3 hours later saying the the worn out motor mounts where the cause of the Rough idle and got it fixed.. Plain and simple they did not even fully examine the vehicle to really diagnose what was going on basic waste of time bottom line they should have fully checked what was the issue and fixed it instead of wasting hours of a customers time...no explanation is needed bottom line take the time to see what is wrong with your customers cars the price is no issue, its the time wasted by the shop.. I have been coming here since Adam and I moved to the area. We have only ever needed oil changes, windshield wiper blades, and smog checks but have always had great experiences. They take care of your car as promptly as possible and with great service. The staff is always super friendly and I don't mind having a chat with them. My car has never had any issues with the work done to it. The only bad thing is they do not do appointments and it is all walk in so if you are in a hurry you may not be able to get your work done. I have had to wait up to 2 hours for my oil change but I generally go during times when I know I have the ability to wait a long time. The good thing is whatever timeframe they give you they always stick to it and never go over. As long as I live in this area I know I will continue to come back here for services. read more

I've always had good luck here and always come back but today was my best experience to date and I couldn't be more appreciative. My A/C went out on my 2016 Tahoe and instead on taking my money to diagnose the issue, I was talked through and convinced that Chevy be responsible with some sort of warranty. After sitting with me and making some calls, I ended up going to the dealer instead and didn't pay a penny at either location because of some "special" coverage for this issue on this particular year/model. If I could do no star I would unfortunately 1 is the lowest I can go. I have taken my car here for years for an oil change and my last 2 appointments have made it very clear I will not be coming back. Both times that I've dropped my car off and left the establishment my car started having problems almost immediately after. Brought my car back and both times verbatim the owner told me "all we did was an oil change there's no way we did anything else to it but what I can do is diagnose it for $139.00 and then you can pay for what else needs to be fixed". My jaw dropped and I simply walked out of the establishment. I have another car place I got to went there immediately after and they did the diagnostic for FREE and fixed whatever the problem was for $75. IMO and as someone who works in customer service that was just not handled correctly to immediately deny all fault and suggest I fork out more money for a problem I didn't have before I went there is strange.Steer clear of these mechanics they are scammers and charge up the ass for everything. read more

Especially after I address some engine concerns initially and didn't go with their quote, they knew they wouldn't be having me for a major repair as they charge more than their competitors.
