Due to a series of unfortunate events (and a self-inflicted problem) an electrical circuit short took out the remote lock, dome lights and clock light on my Sienna. I called Precision Tune and Melissa was able to give me an appointment that afternoon. When I brought my van in, I explained what had happened. Melissa listened to my tale of woe, reassured me and assigned Kenisha (Ken) to the job. It turned out to be a real puzzle. Ken kept troubleshooting and found the solution. The needed fuse was delivered and installed and all functions were restored. Thanks to Melisssa and Kenisha for not giving up. It was such a relief. I will be returning my van to Precision Tune when I receive the parts to replace the item that started all this. read more

Stay clear and far away from this place! They did a horrible job on my brakes and come to find out, they scammed me and said they were using Volvo parts - which they did not. Charged me for Volvo parts but used cheap parts instead and I just had to have my front brakes replaced by another place 1 year later! Since when do brakes need to be replaced on a yearly basis? Sad thing is, I tried to go back to this place and they denied the noise and problem even though I was within the warranty window. My oil was changed and the technician Noah was extremely helpful at taking the time to educate me on some simple maintenance techniques that could possibly save me a lot of money! My dashboard indicator informed me that my tire pressure was low in one or more of my tires. I headed over to Les Schwab (my usual tire place) but they had a three hour wait, so I scooted over to Precision. There was absolutely no wait time, I pulled my car around to the garage door, and a nice young man quickly filled all of my tires free of charge. I realize this is an incredibly easy service (and I could have done this by myself at the gas station but i didn't have a tire pressure gauge), but I really appreciate the fast service and generosity. read more

DID SERVICE WITHOUT CALLING ME FIRST AND CHARGED ME. VERY HOSTILE CONVERSATION WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. My vehicle was overheating and I was suspecting it was a leak of the radiator that was replaced at this shop about a year ago. I went in asked them to help check the radiator since it suppose be under warranty. They guy (Tristan) gave me a quote for diagnostic said if it wasn't the radiator they will have to do diagnostic test and charge me for the amount ($200+). An hour or so later they called said there were things need to be fixed but I needed the vehicle at the time so I went pick it up. He insist that they had to charge me the diagnostic fee because they did the diagnostic test, even tho I was only asking to check the radiator first. I signed the paper because what he told me was to look at the radiator and IF they need to do diagnositc that is the fee I will have to paid. I agreed to it but they DID NOT call me to confirm they were going to do the diagnostic. So I got stuck with that $200+ charge for nothing. read more

The dreaded check engine light came on last February, so I took my wife's 2017 Jeep Renegade with 50k miles to this location. Charged $175 to diagnose the code, turned out to be a leaking Purge Valve in the emissions system. Another $800 later, light was off, problem solved, right? 4 months later, same problem, hard to start, light on. Took it back to them, they wanted another 175 to diagnose. My wife allowed this, and this time they said it was some cannister in the emissions. Wanted another 900 to fix it. Got the vehicle back, took it to the jeep dealership in Puyallup, turns out they used a discount purge valve that failed. They didn't charge the second 175, but i wouldn't take a skateboard to them. read more

Check engine light came on in my Jeep Renegade. Took it to Precision Tune for repairs. They charged me for the tool to read the sensor, and $1000 for repairs. A month later, check engine light is on AGAIN. Same code. They wanted ANOTHER $1000 to do the same repair! And they wanted to charge me $200 just to read the code. Took it to the dealer. Which is what I should have done in the first place. Precision had used the wrong purge valve solenoid. They did waive the $200 for reading the code, but I will NEVER take another vehicle to them. They were nasty to have a conversation with, and very unprofessional. A whole lot of double talk. Stay away! I would give zero stars if I could! read more

It's so hard to come by a shop that actually cares about their customers. These days most auto body places seem so expensive and the job doesn't even seem up to par. Usually when I go to a shop, I feel like I'm there just to hand over an arm and a leg for crap work on my Jeep. That was until I was referred to this shop by my car insurance company. I made an online reservation in advance but decided to give the place a call to confirm the appointment. So glad I called to check on my appointment a few days prior because they didn't have my online reservation on file but they didn't make a big deal of it nor were they rude about it at all. Hai answered the phone when I called and reassured me that he can get me in on the day I originally wanted and could get me in earlier than the original time. My Jeep needed brakes and an oil change. This place was able to get all of the work done in about a hour and half. When I arrived on the day of my appointment I was having such a crappy day and was in a pretty bad mood. Hai was there to greet me with a smile, nice little convo and had jokes to make me laugh. On top of all of that he even gave me a discount and I felt like I was finally at a shop where I'm not just another dollar sign. Made my whole day! Beware when you bring your car for oil change. Did my oil change today and when I was driving back home engine light on the dashboard is ON. Called them and responded to me that the it was on. BIG LIE..I have two cars and this is the only one that engine light never been ON until service is done on this shop. After calling them the label they put on the window shield fell off. That's it, simple job they can not do right. What more with a big job. It's really hard to find someone you can trust with your car. You only have one problem..you might ended up having more problem because of poor quality of the job. Think twice on this shop. read more

Update regarding my review of this shop. Due to my persistence and sending numerous emails I finally got a response from "corporate office." I placed corporate office in quotations because the woman that called me is the same woman that works at this particular shop. This is obviously a scam all the way around. First the shotty unprofessional work and now the phony corporate office representation from a shop employee. The message relayed is that the shop did everything correctly and that they followed shop procedures. They are not willing to adjust the overinflated charges to repair my vehicle. So, beware. DO NOT USE OR REFER ANYONE TO THIS SHOP. I should have read the reviews first. This shop is a scam and I will contact the better business bureau and file a formal complaint. My husband and I are kind of new to car maintenence and we were definitely uncomfortable walking in to any car repair shop. I've always had our cars maintained by mechanics in the family, or I hand my car over to my dad to take care of. As a woman, I prefer precision auto over any one. I've never felt pressured to add this or that to my service, and although I don't know much about cars, I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. The best part, the owners wife is ALWAYS the one I work with, so being able to talk to a woman about my car repairs is much more comfortable for me. She answers my many questions and I feel gives me honest answers. They always have a quote ready for you as well. We've taken two cars here and can't complain one bit. One car needs extensive work and they let us know what needs to be done now, and what can wait a little longer. To be fair, I can't compare pricing, but customer service is what makes me a loyal customer. This is the only shop I recommend to friends and family. read more

Having worked at several autoshops while going to school, I know how to spot a good (or bad) auto repair place. This shop is better than most. Top on my list was being treated with respect, accurate quotes, timely service and non of the worthless add-on sales I get at other places. WiFi was a nice extra since I had to wait for my car to be fixed. I would have given 4-stars, but while I waited I witnessed several people come in with concerns about previous repairs. If you need an oil change A+, if you need work on your car go somewhere else!!! They told me my drive belt was cracked and needed to be replaced. They said that they could also change my timing belt and water pump since they have to take that out anyways, and flush the transmission fluid. Grand total $500 WRONG. I just took my car to my new mechanic who said yes indeed my drive belt was cracked and needed replaced and yes transmission fluid needed to be flushed. BUT, they would NOT need to take out the timing belt or the water pump. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place for any more than an oil change. Or at the very least get a second opinion before letting them work on your car. I don't appreciate them trying to pull a fast one on me whether they thought they could "scam the dumb girl" or whatever may be the reason Update since Yelp won't let me update my review yet: After being called by said shop: The manual on my car actually states to change at 90,000 or 108 months. It says to check at 60,000 miles if I fall under the "severe usage" which I don't. Also confirmed by Hyundai. You also changed your story 2 different times on the phone and now with your comment. I've passed by a couple times recently and noticed they do emissions testing. My tabs are up in a couple weeks and I stopped by to get it done since I was in the area. They were super quick with the test despite it being busy. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Friendly staff, no issues. I still take my car in for oil changes at this location when I'm in town visiting my folks. They used to offer a frequent stamp card for a free oil changed after 10. I thought that was a nice perk since oil changes are something that you need and can add up quickly. They don't seem to offer this anymore. They also close at 5pm which I think is a bit early. The oil change seems to have ticked up in price the last 6 months or so. Nothing exciting to report - free wifi but I wasn't able to connect as it sounded like the router needed to be reset but the girl didn't know how to do it. My 'check engine' light came on so I called this branch as I have had them work on my cars for years (even before the management change). They were booked solid but squeezed my car in a few hours before closing. Ran the diagnostic and it indicated a small vacuum leak in the gas tank. They suspected something with the seal of the gas cap, so cleaned the gas cap/gasket and suggested I drive the car and see if light comes back on. They did not charge me anything and made sure I had my car before they closed at 4:00. I really appreciate how they got me in and did not charge anything, even for their time as they were so busy. If the light comes on again I will be going back to them. Overall excellent customer service (that is often not seen much anymore)-thank you!!! read more

My normal oil change shop closed so I tried Precision this time. I've had other services by them before and they've always so nice! It's first come, first serve and I was fortunate enough to get in quickly. They got my oil change done in about 20 minutes and again were very nice! The only negative is they don't include rotating your tires or topping off other fluids- everything is extra, which is annoying. Everywhere else I've ever gone, they've rotated tires, topped fluids and even washed my car. If they included those things I'd probably come back as a regular! read more

In response to your explination.You had a chance to explore other issues that might be a problem. If you recall I brought my car back into repair damage your mechanic caused to the filler neck shroud the last time I brought my car in for the fuel line repair. In fact your mechanic caused more damage to the car than was present before my visit and you had to buy another part off of eBay to repair it. I saw the mechanic in the parking lot working on the car and saw him damage the car further. You didn't test the fuel line to see if it was still leaking or you would have seen it leaking as I did after I left your shop the first time. I had to search for the part and tell you where to purchase it. Why should a customer have to do the leg work to fix a car that was brought to your shop for repairs?? read more

We had our first experience using them today. First, they honored a Groupon that they didn't have to, even though it's a holiday weekend and everyone and their brother is getting their car serviced, he still made room for us. We called two other PT in our area and when we mentioned Groupon, it seems that we were immediately told no openings for a week. Manh (owner) was very accomidating. Our truck was having a sensor light issue and the mechanics resolved that as part of the service package. They informed me that the company is franchised, and therefore, they weren't obligated to correct the issue. However, they respectfully honored their name and made things right. Furthermore, the rep that I spoke with knew more about a code my vehicle was throwing than any other mechanic I've asked. I was impressed with their knowledge-base in addition to the courteous manner in which my concerns were met. The people that work there are awesome. There's a reason we drive all the way out to that specific Precision tune. And it's because of people like Manh (who I didn't even realize was the owner till now) and his wife Kelly who keep us coming back.
