My girlfriend just went to get her car serviced there not long ago. Thinking nothing of it since she's been going there for the past year, I come to find out that they tell her that she needed brakes and pads. She knew it needed to get done sine she noticed that her brakes were not stopping like they were suppose to. After she ok'd them to get it done, it only took them an 1 1/2hrs which isn't bad. Bad thing is that she told me that they charged her over $700 to get them done. Now she drives a 2007 Jeep Liberty. Nothing special. When I looked up the itemized bill, I noticed they charged her double per rotor and per brake pad sets. Just looking up the part number tells me that they order their parts from NAPA. Now I understand that charging 10%-20% mark up on parts but why double? Doesn't make sense to me. Even though the warranty for the parts are lifetime from NAPA them selves. Plus they already charged $95 in labor for front and $95 for the rear so your overhead cost should be covered just by that.. She called and asked about the bill and whoever answered her told her that was a regular thing that any machanic shops does. With an older vehicle that she drives, please tell why charge for auto parts as if she was getting her car worked on from a dealership? Another thing that is irritating is they they said they offered shuttle service, so why pick her up in her own vehicle? Shouldn't you have a car on hand that covers that? Isn't that a liability if something were to happen when the driver was on her way to pick her up? Since you've failed to offer a better explanation as to why charging double in parts plus the labor costs I figured writing this review would warn those it would be better to just buy your auto parts separate and just pay for the install. Save yourself $200+ up charge on that. read more

For the last month my tire pressure sensor has been on and no matter which tire I filled it just wouldn't go away. I'm not in any way car savvy when it comes to maintenance, even something as simple as tire pressure. At my wits end I called Precision and spoke to David- not only did he offer to air up my tires (for free!), he also didn't make me feel dumb for asking. I stumbled on to these guys when looking for someone to install a part I had already purchased, and this was the only shop to accommodate me. They installed an oxygen sensor on the back side between the firewall and block for $50! I have sent several friends to them and both were very happy with them as well. Great customer service. I stopped in for my state inspection and was quoted a time when they could get me in. I decided to check elsewhere to see if I could get in a bit sooner since I had three kids in tow. I ended up back here. The wait wasn't bad at all (in fact he moved around a few other cars, so I could get in sooner!) The man at the front desk also offered to change the channel for the children. I had such a nice experience here that I sent my husband over to get his state inspection done several days later. He said the service was great. I will go here again. read more

Jason and David provide impeccable customer service. For the past few months my 2006 Chevy Equinox had been having issues with making extremely loud road noise. My husband and I paid various other shops to diagnose as well as have a wheel bearing replaced. We also had the tires rotated, balanced and bought a set of two new tires in attempt to nix the road noise. After the Precision Tune team gave us a complimentary diagnosis they were able to determine that the other front wheel bearing needed to be replaced. My husband and I have had wonderful service the few times we've been here! We initially took our Honda to the Honda service to have our brakes checked and were quoted nearly $2700 for the repairs. We needed a second opinion and came here. The repairs were $850- nearly $2000 less than Honda. We brought our car in around noon and the diagnostic and repairs were completed by 5pm. They said they had 2 guys working on our vehicle to make sure that we didn't have to leave it overnight! They answered all of our questions and thoroughly explained all the repairs hey had done! I took my beloved 2002 Jeep Wrangler in to Precision Tune to have the air conditioner worked on. The guys did a wonderful job. It was a struggle in that some parts aren't available, and 3 evaporators that were provided to Precision weren't working correctly. The guys there persevered and were able to the A/C working for the first time in 2 years. These guys went over and beyond customer service. In addition, to figuring out how to get the A/C work, but they fixed the cruise control (I understand it had something to do with one of the parts of the A/S system), and replaced some light bulbs that have been out on the dash for more years than I can remember. We started using this location for all of our car needs and are so happy with the service, and care that they provide on our cars. read more

VERY SATISFIED! I am very skeptical of auto places because so many are dishonest and always trying to up-sell due to corporate pressure to keep the dollars rolling in. I truly feel like Jason, the owner, is running an honest business based on the following factors: They are a franchise and don't have to report any numbers to corporate, they said my car looked "perfect" overall and my brakes has most of their life left in them (i.e., they were not trying to sell me anything), Jason told me not to waste my money by getting the tires rotated more than once every 3 oil changes--and the biggest reason really is my overall sense from talking with him extensively. I had an appointment to take my car in for an oil change and for them to check out some other issues my car was having. From the minute I walked in I received excellent customer service. I was fully explained what was wrong with my car and how much it would cost. I did not feel pressured into having to get the work done that day. Although it took longer than I expected to get everything completed, the lobby was clean and inviting and the staff continued to make me feel welcome. I came in with the check engine light , codes P0441 and P0446. They found a vacuum leak, so they replaced couple of vacuum hoses . A week later my check engine light came back on and went back. Upon further investigation , they determined the evap canister was at fault. Jason , the owner, was gracious not to charge me any extra labor cost and ended up paying just for the part. Why 4 stars and not 5? Because I had to go in three times to get everything done properly, even though I understand that sometimes that's part of diagnosing a more complicated issue . read more

The crew was very friendly, everything was going smooth until they gave me back my car with a huge chunk missing out of the rim..(something i would've clearly been aware of had it been there before) so I ask them about it and of course me being a young female, they denied doing it and refused to own up to their mistake. Had they apologized and owned up to breaking it, I would have been a lot more understanding but that was not the case... Not only did they quote me $240 more than the repair shop I ended up going to, they did absolutley nothing about my rim. read more

This place is good but I am not very happy with their service. I have been here a few times and we have two cars that get serviced at Precision. Like everyone said, I agree that they have good phone and reception service to their customers but I believe their car service is not upto to par. I really am not the person to complain, i just let it go but I am coming from there now and it is the little thing they did that got my nerves today. Got the premium oil change and i guess it is done. Ok, however, I am big on airing your tires and the premium oil change comes with that so I expected them to get it done. They did not. No big deal you may say but it is beacausedeal of the BS explanation the guy gave me. The low air tire indicator was on when I came in and I noticed it when on when i left too. I went back in with my daughter and asked if they put air in as the indicator is still on. Was told that the car car needs to be driven at 40m.p.h for the indicator to to go off. Really?? Taking me for a fool. Last time I got my oil change there, that didn't happen and the time before that and ever since we started using them. It's okay to say, I will have our mechanics check that for you. No lying needed. And to think I was going to get my ac and brakes done there and give them the business. No way. read more

We need to get our transmission serviced on our van, so I was checking around to different places in the area. I found Precision Tunes coupon online for $79.90 (test drive vehicle, visually inspect for leaks, completely flush transmission and replace fluids). Since the coupon said 'Most vehicles', I called and talked with an employee. She informed me that the cost was actually $10 more since the fluids have to be modified on newer cars. (Ours is not a newer car and does not need modified fluids, but we still decided to use your company.) About 30 minutes after my husband arrived for our SCHEDULED appointment, he was given an estimate for $113!!!!! And promptly LEFT without getting the vehicle serviced. I am very frustrated with this whole situation. The employee said that the increased cost included disposing of the fluids as well. IF THE COMPANY KNEW THAT THE FLUIDS NEEDED TO BE MODIFIED AND DISPOSED OF, WHY NOT INCLUDE THAT IN THE OFFERED/QUOTED PRICE? We will NOT be back. read more
