The manager Josh is the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars. I've been at this facility for over 20 years and in the last 2 years the rent has been increased substantially and lately it seems every six months. I've called and emailed customer service and have not received any response at all. I hoped for better customer service but I guess loyalty doesn't mean anything to Storage Pro. I have found another storage facility in the same area for a substantially lower price. Again, the onsite manager Josh has been great. The corporate customer service terrible.

What is the point of having a 24 hour Call center if they can't help you with anything this is the second day I have been locked out of the Climate controlled building of my storage To puck locks have been put on the doors there's no notice on the office door or the doors of the Climate controlled building and access hours are until 9 PM so why is it that this building is completely locked down at 5 PM? Yesterday I asked for the call center to leave note for a manager and district manager or somebody to give me a call back on why the building is lockdown. I was here by myself at 7 PM eight months pregnant needing to go to the hospital but needed to unload my car And the only thing I was told was that it's a morning issue that they will give me a call in the morning to explain why this building was locked down. I called back today to find out that the building is again lockdown before nine before 6 PM with no explanation and again I was told by the useless call center That all they'll do is leave a note on my account and then I have to be the one to keep calling about why I cannot get into The building where my storage is located. Nowhere in my contract nor in the policy for when I signed up at Storquest, did it ever say the climate control building will be locked down when the office is Closed! I've stored at Storquest many times in the past and never did I ever have to deal with the ridiculousness of this property and the management or lack there of!!! Do better, San Leandro Storquest!!!

Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores.

I'm not one for many words, so I'll simply say that the owners are wonderful and connect in a wonderfully human way, and they went above and beyond in providing the storage service that I needed for a few months. Getting in and out was always convenient, and my things remained safe the whole time - including some rather meaningful and valuable furniture. I rarely make unqualified recommendations, but it's easy to do so in this case. I'm truly grateful to have been able to rent at this place for a while and for its owners, and I recommend them without reservation.

Rented a 5x10 unit for two years at this location…read more Decided to leave after the rate increased again-- my rate increased twice over a 2 year span. This is the main reason for my 3 star rating. Overall, this Extra Storage location is nice. Easy to get to, staff is friendly and very efficient. Feels very secure inside too. My building often smelled like tree and mildew but I didn't mind. Sometimes people would leave their trash in the lift area but it would be cleared by the next time I'd visit the unit. In the past year, this location changed the lock system to ONLY a Tubular Push Lock option which comes with a key. Before you'd have the option to pick which lock option you'd like to purchase or bring yourself.

The insurance is a joke please get your own coverage in addition to or in lieu of. I lost over $12k of valuables. From all my kitchen appliances to devices to pictures and they took every single last pair of shoes I had. Over 60 pairs of shoes goneeee. I'm still livid and this happened last year!!!
