Never coming again!! I have been going here for my 4 year old son ever since he was one years old every 6 months with Dr Sussarey. I always get good news that he does not have any cavities. I go here myself because he's fast and tells me no cavities and I'm out the door. Lately my son had been complaining about a toothache, so I decided to get a second opinion. I was shocked to find out he has 12 cavities!!!! The new dentist told me these cavities had likely been there for years. What's frustrating is that we were just at Premier Dental 6 months ago with Dr. Sussarey, and nothing was mentioned about any cavities at all. read more

Was approved for crowns through my insurance and like most patients that visit this office have Medicaid. The dentist that left the practice I never had a issue with. Since I had my temp crowns put on, I've been here 10 times and counting because of the sheer negligence of the dentist. I understand they are fragile and can break. Come to find out after i made so many complaints to the office manager and left a vm for a director that they looked into it and the dentist wasn't going down far enough into my gums for it to stay. And because of this I had to have my permanent crowns resized and sent out again it has been now 5 weeks since I had this done! When I got my teeth drilled and fitted the first time my tongue was nicked in several places. I brought to the dental assistants attention in which he replied they probably just nicked me and basically was shrugging it off. I know for a fact that in my chart the previous dentist stated I would need a root canal then a crown; I asked why if it was stated in my chart that they would just do the crowns. I was under the impression that I was getting root canals done too. The dentist and I had conversations about the root canal and crowns being done. When I realized they weren't doing a root canal, said are we doing the root canals? The dentist was flustered in her body mannerism and told me well we can stop right now. At this point my 3 back teeth were drilled down into practically nothing. We were at the point of no return and I was visually upset. I was told me to try out the crowns and if it's still bothersome then they would have to proceed with a root canal by drilling into the crown itself. I told the dentist they felt like having packaging peanuts and were super bulky. I believe they wanted to fix their offices mistake from previously overfilling the teeth to the point where I could not floss. I've never in my life experienced anything like this. I've tried to find somewhere else to go but not sure if anyone can fix their mistakes. The director stopped responding to my messages and I felt like there was no hope. Don't go here! Don't even think bout it! I know someone personally went to get a tooth pulled as she's in the process of getting implants. They took out a molar and broke her jaw! They never told her.... As the meds were wearing off, she knew something was wrong... went to the hospital and they did an MRI to and found they broke her jaw. Had to go to an oral surgeon to have surgery and have her mouth wired shut for a month. Out of work for a month! I heard this story and had to post what an awful experience! read more

I went there for a simple bonding procedure on a front tooth. I was told over the phone that my insurance would cover the cost completely. I have had this procedure done before. The dental assistant took two x-rays. Why was this even necessary? Then the dentist, who said he was Dr. S., stuck me with a needle in the gum obove the front tooth that needed the bonding. Why? I was NEVER given an anesthesia for bonding for a front tooth and I have had it done multiple times in the past. The area was frozen for over two hours. The dentist was all business and had no personality. Also, I was charged $161.00 for this procedure even though I was told on the phone before I went in that my insurance would cover the cost. Stay away from this place. I think they are very deceitful and crooked. read more

I wish I didn't have to give any stars! TERRIBLE PLACE!! I called, and they gave me an appointment the next day at 9:00, & told me to come at 8:50 to fill out paperwork. Staff arrived after 9:00 to unlock doors, and the rest of the staff and Dr. Patel did not arrive until after 9:30, without any explanation or apology. The front desk girls are very unprofessional and extremely rude. I had to ask the receptionist several times if the dentist was even there, & when she would be arriving. Her response was she didn't know. No apology at all. At 9:45, the assistant wanted to start taking a full mouth set of X-rays, because he stated that a full mouth set of X-rays and a cleaning was what I was on the schedule for, which was incorrect. Then, around 10:00, they demanded money, before the work was even started, even with insurance. If you have dental insurance and you can go to any dental office, please do not waste your time here. Poorly run from top to bottom! When the dentist arrives 40 minutes late with no explanation, why would the rest of the staff show up on time?! The Yelp reviews speak for themselves. I have worked in several dental offices in the past, and I'm shocked this place is allowed to stay open with how they handle things. I'm happy I walked out of there before they did any damage to my teeth! Please seek out a real dental office before coming to this establishment. read more

You make an appointment for an hour, get there and wait 30 minutes, and the dentist for 20. They book too many people for the same time. This has happened 3 times. The dentist was good but I'll be going somewhere else. I don't think they know what an appointment is. read more

I left with all my filling hurting after going here. Had to pay out of pocket to get my fillings redone by another dentist, they feel better now though. My new dentist said the filling just fellout and that wasn't suppose to happen. Plus insanely long wait for them to just recklessly drill away at my teeth trying to rush. If I was rating only the dentist, I'd give it 5 stars. However, the clinic as whole is poorly managed, in my opinion. They book way more patients then they can handle. I always have to wait at least 1/2 an hour past my appointment time. I've raised this concern with the dentist and the clinics' staff. I tell them they will lose me as a customer if they continue to overbook their appointments. Things haven't changed. Yesterday, I waited about 45 minutes past my appointment time. read more

I should maybe give this place 2 stars only because it was kinda clean. But I was very unsatisfied with the service there. 1st of all if you are a client there, they call you in six months 2 times a day until you make an appointment with them. 2nd me and my son waited 35 minutes to be seen and we did have an appointment. 3rd the cleaning was the worst part the assistant that did the cleaning on about 4 of my son's teeth. Then the dentist came in for about 2 minutes scaled maybe 2 or 3 of his front teeth. Then a high school guy put fluoride on his teeth which was very messy. That all took 7 minutes in total. I know in this day and age we like to be in and out of appointments, but damn at least clean all my kid's teeth not just a few of them. He didn't even get a toothbrush or floss at the end of the visit. read more

I went in because I was in severe pain and needed an extraction. They took x-rays that caused more pain only to find out that they all had to be retaking cause the tech did not know what she was doing. I sat there for an hour before the woman dentist came in with a rude assistant. The dentist continued to tell me what work I needed done to the rest of my teeth. Decide what you would like to do she tells me. We will put together a plan. I said I would like my tooth pulled since this is what is giving me pain. They walked out and I sat another 40 min. The girl from front came in with a plan. I said to her when and who is going to extract my tooth. I'll let the doctor know she proceeded to tell me. I waited another 15 min. Finally the doctor and the rude assistant came in told me to sit up and she numbed my tooth. Well I didn't feel the needle like you usually do. They walked out and I waited again .about 15 min. They came in and and proceeded to extract my tooth when I just about jumped out of my chair cause it just about killed me. My whole body was trembling and I started crying. I told the dentist I did not feel the needle go down into where the pain is. She said ok we'll numb you again. She gave me shots but again not where my pain was. Then she said let's give it some time to work. Great I'm thinking this might work. So I waited and I waited and I waited some more. Finally they walk in and said ok how are you feeling. I told her I can still feel the pain from the first attempt. I need the shot where the pain is. Well let's try again. She attempted to extract it again and I said stop I can still feel it. Ok she said the tooth is so infected that's why you are feeling the pain. You mean to tell me she couldn't see that my tooth was infected. She's a dentist or I think she was. I will write you a script for antibiotics and come back in three days. She walked out. The tech got up and threw the instruments on the​ counter ripped my bib off and walked out. Didn't say goodbye, I'm sorry, go fuck yourself not a word! I wish I would have read the reviews cause I would have never gone there. read more

This place can get you in quick ( takes walk ins) and excepts Medicaid dental cvg however if it wasn't for the convenience I would never come to this place again. The dentist is always in a hurry and gave me a horrible cleaning in 2 mins with just using a instrument that made the surface of my teeth rough. I've had to get a crown so I have had multiple visits and every single time the dentist is always interrupted and rushes to finish with my visit. This office has been the worst experience I've ever received. Unfortunately the temp crown feel out & I have to continue to go there to finish this process. read more

Scary office! The last woman I had was awful. She said the pain would lessen after a week but the pain from a cavity lasted for about a month or longer. My first and last visit took place this morning. I had a 9 AM appointment. I knew that I'd have paper work to fill out, so I arrived 15 mins early. The waiting room was already filled. As I sat waiting, several people told the receptionist that they couldn't wait any longer and left. During the next 45 minutes, few people were called in to see the dentists and few people came out after being treated. At 9:45 I said that I couldn't stay any longer - what's the point of making an early morning appointment and then having to wait so long? They offered no explaination for the delay. Then they acted like they didn't know how to refund my payment so I called my bank - right in front of them - and spoke to a person who took care of it. I went there once and will never return. The dentist was only there to sell, no doctor patient relationship. The office is just a factory of low quality labor by unprofessional staff. They litter all over the surrounding neighborhoods with flyers that are never attached to anything but the ground since the staff they hire to distribute flyers has no concern for what they are doing. Front desk staff of ladies is awful awful awful. It's like they're not present. No type of customer service they're more of just data entry, which high school students could attend to that specific job. Also- in excruciating pain to where I wanted to go to the hospital and there was an hour long wait! I asked for an ice pack and they didn't give me anything. Like others have said, the wait time is deplorable! We made an appointment for 1:00 and didn't get called until 2:00. That was probably the best of what happened while we were there. While I was there, someone behind the desk called me to schedule an appointment...WHILE I WAS THERE! After my son was taken back, he was a bit intimidated by all the menacing looking tools, rightfully so, since he's only 6. Nothing was explained to him and the dentist, Dr. Kaushik was holding him down with one arm while yelling at him telling him to calm down while he was trying to pull a tooth that just experienced trauma, so obviously, it hurt. I expected a child friendly dentist to be just that but his "bedside" manner left a lot to be desired. I vowed to my son to never take him back there. The following day, the same woman who called me while we were waiting, called me again to schedule an appointment. I had to tell her 3 times that I was just there the day before! I also arrived early for an apt, waited over an hour, during which the waiting room continued to fill up, few if any went in for an apt, and quite a few who were ahead of me left because of the inordinate wait. The front desk ladies acted like they did not care when people came up to ask about the long wait. After over an hour fifteen minutes I too chose to get up and leave as I did not have time to keep waiting and I did not like the blase attitude of the ladies at the front desk. I have been at this dental office twice and the women there were very friendly and I got in and out with my appointment on time both times. In fact they were able to pull two of my teeth even thought at first the insurance said only one a month plus they gave me a great price on dentures. under 12oo when everyone else said over 650. read more

If I could give half a star or less, I would. I wish I read reviews before selecting them as my dental facility. Terrible service! The first time I went I waited over an hour and a half to be seen. I ended up speaking with the manager after I walked out and she begged me to come back. My next appointment was fine but when I went back again today, same thing. There was even a woman practically crying because she was waiting over an hour and a half. This time I only waited 40 minutes before I walked up to the counter, told them to cancel my appointment, and requested to fill out a form to get my dental records because I was no longer going there. My Main concern was that after each time I got work done from this office (Crowns and fill ins) I was still in a lot of pain. I got two fill- ins done at this office and before the fill ins i had NO pain and could eat without pain. After I got the 2 fill ins i was n pain and couldn't eat on that certain side. That has NEVER happen before when I went to the dentist. When I went back to figure out what was wrong the dentist didnt know himself and then I suggested maybe crowns would make it better and he took my advice and set me up for 2 crowns? I made an appointment for 3 at 11:00am and waited over two hours to be seen. When I asked why people who got here after us were seen before us, they told me that they were being seen by a different dentist. Even if this was true, there is no way we would still be waiting that long. The entire waiting room cleared while we continued to sit there. Because of time limitations that day, I made the earliest appointment for a Saturday morning at 9:00 am. I wasn't taken in until about 9:25 (and I was an established patient). The dentist, a Dr. Vanney, that I had dealt with before and liked a lot suspected one cavity, took an x-ray, confirmed the cavity, and then administered a local anesthetic. She and her dental assistant then left the room for what seemed like 20-30 minutes, possibly longer. Come on. How long does it really take for the anesthetic to take effect? Maybe 10 minutes? I felt abandoned while the dentist and her assistant tended to other patients and seemingly forgot about me or couldn't/wouldn't pop in and tell me how long it would be before they could get to me. I got up and left. It was a terrible experience. First, the 25 minute wait to get seen despite the fact that I had the earliest appointment slot, and then twiddling my fingers in no man's land for another, what, 25-30 minutes? Dentists are a dime a dozen in the area that I live, and my guess is that I'll be able to easily find a dental clinic and/or a dentist that is, in my view, more attentive and accommodating read more

I must agree with "Maria s" what she posted is true. 6-10 flyers a month. Consistently picking up these yellow green prices of paper rubber banded together. Or just watching them blow around the neighborhood. Honestly premier dental knows this I'm sure, Because they responded to Marias post. What this tells me is they are an office with no integrity. Because they don't give a damn about being a good neighbor. Lawful or unlawful if your neighbors ask you not to be a nuisance why else would you continue? These types of business practices tell me that theyre focus is attracting Medicaid patients, and sending the bill to the state of Illinois. I doubt anyone with real options would give this place any consideration. This is especially troubling due to the fact they are marketing professional services. Being a first timer here, it was the worst experience of my life. I was told that dental work can be performed on me but to find out months later that the dentist could not do the work. The ladies in front were over crowed talking the whole time about their personal issues and being overly loud. The dentist and her assistant were talking over me about their personal life. I paid for dental cleaning that was not perform in a professional matter let alone done at all. I had to call the insurance company to inform them to not pay them out since they charged them for work that was not completed or done corrected. It's over crowed in the waiting room with all types of loud kids and people. None of the paperwork gets done which I don't understand since there are a bunch of unprofessional ladies in front talking loud. The manager is right there with them and calms she a manager but when it comes to the dentist she has no clue!!! My child went in for a cleaning to get a quick look at and a tooth brush.
