I am extremely disappointed with the care my child received at this office. My baby had a…read morepersistent cough for six weeks that progressively got worse. I brought her in THREE separate times because I knew something wasn't right. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and I was told to just use Tylenol, a humidifier, saline drops, and suction. I followed all of those instructions consistently, and my baby did not improve, in fact she got worse. Yesterday, her condition escalated to the point where she was very drowsy and had a fever of 103°F. I had no choice but to rush her to the ER. There, they immediately took the situation seriously, performed an X-ray, and diagnosed her with pneumonia. This is incredibly frustrating and upsetting because this could have been caught earlier if the pediatrician had listened to me and taken my concerns seriously. Instead, my child's condition worsened to the point of needing emergency care and additional testing. No parent should feel dismissed when advocating for their sick child. I will not be returning to this office and would not recommend it to others based on my experience.

He is everything you could hope for in a pediatrician--kind, attentive, and incredibly thorough, with excellent humor which is pertinent in the care of others, especially children. He takes the time to truly listen, explain, and makes us feel confident in our child's care. Nurse Carli is a gem; so gentle, friendly, and always going above and beyond to make our little ones (and us!) feel at ease- even on shot days!! Truly the entire staff is magnificent! Though we have multiple pediatric offices just five minutes from home, we gladly make the 25 minute drive because we know we're getting the best care. As a parent and nurse myself it's been incredibly important to find an office that aligns with our values and beliefs (evidence based medicine!) and that trusts our choices as parents- I couldn't be more satisfied. When we finally arrived, we were turned away for being "late," even though we were within minutes of the scheduled time. Meanwhile, we were made to wait just to be told we wouldn't be seen. To make it worse, the office wasn't even busy. There seems to be constant turnover with both doctors and staff, and the overall experience feels disorganized and unprofessional. I had to call in my kids for this check up. when I got there Amanda said they would only see one of my kids because we were late. Then she was running back and forth then was like oh look at that we don't take your insurance. My kids have been going to the doctor office since they were 4 and 6. They could have told me about the insurance ahead of me calling my kids out driving so far in the snow. Based on my last 2 visits of them trying to give my kids medicine they don't need. They use to be great with that but lately we just see whatever doctor, which they are all wonderful but it's nice having a doctor that knows your child and you don't have to give a background every exam. Took a lot longer than it should have and they couldn't even decide/ guide us how we should hold our baby to make him comfortable. We could tell she wasn't comfortable doing it as well. The second nurse in the room also tried to take my baby from me as I'm holding him so she can hold him before/for his shots . Absolutely not. Why would a stranger holding him make him more comfortable before his shots? Don't try to grab him without asking when he's clearly in my arms and comfortable before he will be in pain. I understand everyone has to learn but let the parents decide if they're okay with that first. We weren't and it created a bad experience. We won't be back

Most of the staff is very nice but getting a same day…read moreappointment is impossible, you are always referred to the clinic in Fort Lupton where they bill you a regular copay and then come back and say "Surprise, you owe us an Urgent Care Copay" So don't get sick or you cannot be seen. Also, numerous times I have had my birth control shot, this is covered 100% by my insurance, by law, yet every single time they bill me a copay. Per the insurance company they bill it wrong. Getting ahold of someone in billing is impossible, they never return calls. Also if your doctor is out (while already treating you for things) you cannot see another doctor. My doctor is out, out of nowhere for 6-8 weeks. Yet, I cannot see another provider for the concerns Dr. Bauer was seeing me for. They treat you like a number here and the only thing they care about is their money. They do not care one bit about your actual health. Also, I have sent numerous emails through their online chart "Mychart" that get read (you can see when they are viewed by the staff) Yet they go un answered. It finally took me 3 emails and telling them how upset I was that no one was replying before I got a reply. Do not waste your time.

Not only were they extremely rude every time I called to speak to anyone, but they constantly acted like I was inconveniencing them at THEIR JOB. As someone who used to be a front desk manager, you would have to pick me up off the floor if anyone on my team ever spoke to patients that way. On top of being treated like an untouchable, we were constantly referred to places that either didn't take our insurance or didn't service the area. While the care may be decent, it just wasn't worth dealing with staff speaking to me like an idiot or hanging up on me on the phone.
