While I didn't end up choosing Premier to build our pool, I wanted to give credit to Cordin, our pool consultant! He came over to measure our backyard and invited us in for our consultation where we could choose our options, finishes, etc. He was awesome and since I'm a visual learner, he truly helped me envision our pool through his software. Their office was clean and had a number of tiles and stones to choose from. We ultimately chose a different company because while Premier could easily be the biggest pool builder in the area, it was clear in their reviews that a number of people were having trouble getting them to come back out for repairs or warranty work after the build. I obviously take all reviews with a grain of salt, but I hope that isn't the case for anybody and I would still highly recommend them as a number of houses in our neighborhood also chose Premier for their pool builds. read more

We decided to use Premier Pools and Spas after shopping extensively for a pool builder, and we could not be happier! Originally, we were skeptical on using a larger pool builder to build our backyard. We were afraid of being "Just another number", but that was the furthest thing from the truth. After a recommendation from close friends in our neighborhood (who also built a pool with Premier) we decided to give them a shot. From the very get go, Duvall made us feel comfortable with the whole process. We got to sit down in the showroom and build a dream backyard that fit our budget before making any commitments to move forward with our project. It took a lot of effort from Duvall, and it was unique to Premier. No other pool builder to that point was willing to sit down and build a 3D representation of our yard with us before we had made a commitment to them. He addressed a lot of our concerns and we were actually able to see what our yard would look like when the project was complete. Ultimately, this is why we decided to go with Premier even though they weren't the cheapest builder we had talked to. From there, the whole process was great. My wife and I had a ton of questions, and we made plenty of changes. So I am writing this because of the fact that I was going to use them, they are very friendly to get your business. Every time I would ask for something price jump. So I originally asked for a 60 foot long by 30 ft pool with a Baja shelf, grotto aka rock slide and wall even bar stools. Then he Gave me a quote for 49ft pool by 30. He did show me a beautiful pool but not my idea of the pool I wanted. I talked to a lot of people from then to know searched up reviews seems they had made fake accounts or paid people for good reviews, someone down the street used them and regrets it 100% another friend of mine used them took a year and some months regrets it. There is nothing worse then lack of communication or being left in the dark. The Warenty I was told covers anything that goes wrong with the pool and they use thicker rebar so it don't sink or lift up trying to reinsurance no mistake will happen. but I'm seeing reviews of people who have sinking pools and may have to sue to get it fixed and pay extra money to have it fixed but why would they guarantee this but refuse to fix it. I am thankful to the mistake of others of using this company and giving me reviews or there experience and the real reviews from google and yelp I will not be using this company I hate stressing out for no reason, and paying money every month and taking over a year to finish. We've been enjoying our pool now for two weeks and cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the outcome. It is gorgeous And everything we wanted. We are very unsatisfied with the whole entire Premier Pools company, from the build all the way up to the monthly cleaning/balancing services. We signed with Premier Pools, knowing they were considerably pricier than other companies, because Premier Pools talked up their high-quality builds, excellent customer service, and warranties. We believed the higher price tag made sense if we were going to have quality service and a quality pool. Unfortunately, we have encountered problem after problem with Premier Pools. Communication is extremely poor. We had to take take it upon ourselves to reach out and ask (beg?) for updates. If we did not do this weekly, our project manager would let us sit for days without communicating. We had to keep pushing to keep on schedule. On top of this, the project manager handling our pool build QUIT Premier Pools to work for a different pool company (what does this tell you about Premier Pools?). This created a huge delay in scheduling. Our new project manager did the best he could with what he was left with. I really appreciated his effort, however, communication continued to be lacking. During excavation, Premier Pools pushed piles of dirt against our new vinyl fence. This resulted in the vinyl panels bowing out over onto our neighbors side. Needless to say, our neighbors were very unhappy with Premier Pools. It was an entire ordeal trying find a solution, and the entire time, Premier Pools tried to invalidate how our neighbors felt saying it was not a "life or death" issue and attempted tp minimize their error. Premier Pools also did not follow the design build plans. They butchered our steps and coping height so terribly that the piping for our sheer descent waterfalls are literally sticking out of the concrete decking. The pipe is exposed. I have no idea how this passed inspection, but a pipe sticking out of the ground does not seem safe nor does it depict quality work. When asked to remedy this, we were told to paint it gray ourselves. Premier Pools Services was hired on to balance and maintain our pool. During the initial startup, their technician chipped off a chunk out of our brand new coping near the sheer decent waterfall. Premier Pools' quick fix is to patch it with a similar color, not the exact color, of our coping. Premier Pools Services also does a poor job with cleaning the pool. Two days after our scheduled cleaning, we experienced algae blooms all over our pool. I understand the shortage of chlorine right now, but it was clear that whoever serviced our pool did not do a good job brushing or cleaning. We even had another company come out to inspect it and they agreed that whoever serviced our pool did a poor job brushing. Overall we regret signing up with Premier Pools. We have been sharing our experience with all of our family, neighbors, and friends. From the massive errors, to the infuriating lack of communication, to the inability to accept responsibility for their mistakes, Premier Pools has taught us that it is not a company that values their customers. If you want a quality pool and great customer service, do yourself a favor and do NOT go to Premier Pools. read more

My initial sales person/consultant, Chase, stuck with me every single step of the way and did not just hand me off after I signed the contract. I never felt like my questions were a bother which made me feel confident about the process. Our backyard dreams have quickly become a reality thanks to the amazing Premier Pool team and our project manager, DuVall. I rarely write reviews however after hearing some pretty awful stories from neighbors and family members about their own pool journeys, it was clear I needed to share our own. As we began our discovery we had a total of four pool companies come out and bid our project. Though Premier was not the cheapest, they weren't the most expensive, but by a long shot they were the most transparent, experienced and made us feel like our job was important. From their expertise, to quality, to never feeling pressured, we knew going with Premier was the right choice. When it comes to scheduling, being informed about every step and even a few beyond, we couldn't have asked for better communication. Our PM even takes the time to stop by our house, walk the property with us, share with us in detail the next phases, and of course make sure everything is aligned with Premier's standards. This is even in between steps, not just when crews are here. When it comes to the crews working on our project, I can't stress how every single one has delivered above and beyond. They are some of the hardest working people I've ever met and have never once made it feel like they are subcontractors. They feel like they are part of the Premier family, a part of our family. There has not been a single day they didn't show up when scheduled and their attention to detail/quality is exactly what one would expect. I know there are a lot of horror stories with subs and scheduling but that couldn't be further from what we've experienced. It's been amazing. When it comes to pool building in general, it's messy, sure. However it is no where near the mess and inconvenience that people make it out to be and complain about. Let's be clear, they are building a pool here and it's just not digging a hole in the ground. The mess has been even less than what we expected and in the end we are getting the pool of dreams ontime and on budget. That should be a solid win in anyone's book. Lastly, I want to call out our amazing PM, DuVall, who also happened to be our sales associate. He has been incredibly professional, honest, accountable, is full of fantastic advice (because hey, this is new to us and we need it) and has kept our project on track without a single hiccup (even when we hit rock during the dig...and it was a lot of rock!). He's been able to link us up with a wonderful landscaper, pool fence company and RV gate fence company - all who have delivered at the highest quality as well. We just consider ourselves lucky to also feel like we've made a friend out of the process too. First off, you must know that my husband is very picky and has been in construction for the majority of his life. Premier Pools has stepped up in every way to meet his expectations. What is happening in our backyard is not easy because, pool building is very messy. From the time that they started until now they have been willing to work with us on modifications and changes. Sometimes their crews would leave a little mess behind and we simply had to ask them to clean it up and it was done the following day. Every single crew that has come to the house has been gracious and respectful to not only our property but our neighbors as well. Watching our backyard get torn up with trenches everywhere and piles of dirt as high as the windows on the house has not been easy. The children sometimes track dirt into the house, but this is to be expected with such a large undertaking. What's cool?! Look at the attached photos and you'll see their dedication during the process. Often, their crews would work into the evening, under lights, to ensure the work was getting completed. My husband and I have read some of the bad reviews for Premier pools and spas and it seems like most of them are upset because the timeline was delayed. Ours too went a little long, but premier Has communicated with us, worked with us and were willing to talk every time we had questions. Premier, with Jeff, the owner and Jon, our PM have met every expectation. If you choose a pool builder, choose Premier, expect delays and a mess.. We researched many pool companies and found Premier pools to be on top of the list. Duvall was our rep and was with us all the way. His designs for our backyard helped us transform our backyard into a resort. We went a quality company and not a cheaper one. Cheaper comes with problems and not a quality job. Although communication was quite difficult, the company came out to fix the problem, even after the warranty due to communication struggles. Our fire pit is now functional thanks to Premier taking the time to come inspect the problem for themselves. The problem you ask...somehow the plug in the center of the burner ring was pushed all the way in, blocking the gas from exiting. We have no clue how this could have happened, but we are thrilled it has been resolved. The tech also told us that he had never seen rock so low in a fire pit before. He took the time to raise the rock using flagstone we had in the garage. It looks so much nicer than it did! Thank you, Premier for resolving this issue. If given the opportunity to use Premier directly or their outside contractor, Dreamscape, for concrete and fire pit, I highly advise spending the extra money and sticking with Premier, as our biggest frustrations are a result of the outside contractor which never returned our calls or the project managers calls from the beginning. read more

From the design, subcontractors, communication about appointments, next steps and what to expect in the process; DuVall and Jeremy have been there every step of the way. We got a few estimates for a pool project last September. We met with Eric at Premier and he had the exact same design vision that I had and a similar price to the other quotes, so we chose them. They also said they'd be able to help with other items (fence, driveway gate, patio cover, some landscaping) and since we don't live at our house full time this was a huge selling point. The project started a bit later than we were sold, and there were definitely some bumps along the way (the project took wayyyy longer than it was supposed to) but the end product is phenomenal. They can definitely work on communication (our project completion was very delayed and I was constantly having to reach out/pester to get answers). Now that it's done, Eric continues to be a helpful and caring asset even though it's no longer his responsibility. The whole team at Premier that I've come in contact with are all nice, cool people and they really do care about their work. I would definitely work with them again if we did another pool, but would be a bigger thorn in their side about timelines and expectations ;) read more

Our salesman was upfront with us about timelines and somehow we were able to stay on track even though they were super busy and items were back ordered. All of the crews that we worked with were courteous, helpful, and respectful. The finished product is better than expected. The design of our pool came out fantastic...they recommended a perfect size jacuzzi and an extra large baja step that my whole family enjoys. Our bar is awesome and we get compliments on it all the time. The firepit is used a lot and we love the design that Premier Pools helped us come up with. My pool was completed ahead of schedule by Premier. Eric was our salesguy and Jon was our onsite supervisor. The process is long and sometimes it gets really frustrating when you see the form and then the shotcrete goes in and then you wait. You wait for electrical, for plumbing, for inspections. It is a process and you just have to prepare yourself for it. They try to warn you, but I do not think it is easy staring at a big cement hole in the ground. You finally get the water in the pool and an email that says you cannot go in for X days which is like a big tease. It was the one thing that was not in the contracts and that we were not prepared for. The pool is amazing and our grotto exceeded our expectations. So far, we have had one issue. Our heater will not work with our iAquaLink and will not stay on, but they responded right away and are having someone come out to fix it. If I had one complaint, it would be the communication. Jon would tell me there would be an inspection scheduled for Tuesday. On Tuesday, you get an email from the office saying there would be an inspection. The inspector just left so it was not timely. read more

I rarely give out reviews, but with Premier Pools & Spa of Temecula I must! We already have an in ground spa that was built by another company and we decided not to go with the same company. After researching for a year who would build our vision we decided to go with Premier for their quality but most importantly their core values. Our pool broke ground on Jan 20, 2020 and the start up is schedule on April 20, 2020. (Given the weather and other variables we expected delays) These dates were meant to be because on April 16 was my late moms birthday and the day we started to fill our pool. April 21 is our wedding anniversary a gift for us AND it finished during Covid-19 stay at home order! I am also a Registered Nurse and in light of what was going on with Covid-19 my anxiety level was very high. Premier took care of me by building a relaxing paradise I can come home to after work and on my days off so I can spend quality time with my family in our backyard paradise. This allows me to re-energize so I can be ready to care for others. During the building phase we came across an issue but Premier proved to me that they are committed to their value of accountability. We met with Festus who listened to our concerns and he took care of our situation. He put my already anxious mind at ease. We have read many reviews of this company and have watched many pools (Pool Kings) built by them and our experience was great overall. Their price is very fair in my honest opinion. Some reviews say they are overpriced but if you go with other companies to save some money you might get substandard work and a company that may not care and acknowledge their mistake and accept their responsibilities. I feel confident that if we come across any issues even after the pool is built they will stand behind their work. We are a very reasonable couple and we understand not everyone will be happy but we are happy that we went with this company. I also know that their team consist of subcontractors but as a whole the team at Premier stand behind their core values of work ethic, team player, quality of work, accountability, and thank you Festus for your integrity. Poor communication and project management. I notified 3 different people that we didn't have enough material to finish the pool. I was told A) that it wouldn't be a problem, there was plenty of time to get additional material. B) When they start the tile phase, the first thing they do is take inventory of what they have and if anything is missing they will order and have it within the next couple of days. It's been 4 weeks since that happened and they cannot get back to me on the status of the material or when they will finish this phase. That didn't stop them from sending me an invoice for what they considered a completed phase though. Progress has completely stalled and project managers aren't even responding to me anymore. I constantly feel like I have to ask for updates, request the status on the open items and issues. I am basically project managing something I am paying over 100K for. They have no regard for your property. They dropped 10 pallets of pavers in my front yard over 3 months ago and broke my irrigation system. As a result I have been manually watering my plants everyday for the last 12 weeks. Any projects we have planned for the front yard are on hold until they move these materials. They have been sitting there for so long that the pallets are breaking down. We started this process last November, they broke ground on May 5th and they have no estimate as to when the project will be complete. This company is not efficient with their planning and communication is extremely poor. I am so tired of feeling frustrated with this company. The contract says they have up to 20 weeks to complete at which time I will be looking into legal action to end the contract and find another competent company who can finish the job. Save yourself from months of frustration and choose someone else for your project. We should have went with Majestic Pools. read more

Premier pools just finished my pool ! I couldn't be happier with it ! RJ designed my yard what an amazing job he did .. I love it .. then Jon he handle the building process ! These two were always Polite, knowledgeable .. okay my pool took a lot more time fo complete which was my doing added this and that .. if I had a question or needed they always replied in a time manner . I at one point to told Jon look at your watch .. I wouldn't accept calls with update after 5 .. he takes his job seriously.. these two man are the best ' I can't say enough good things about them .. Our initial time line for completion of our project was end of June to early July. Here it is the end of August and we still don't have a completed pool. They have been unreliable and failed to take responsibility for problems they created. I have called and left messages for Jeffrey Boyer the owner and never received any responses. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Blown deadlines resulted in other planned projects to be delayed which resulted in additional storage fees of materials. Its completely their fault for blowing deadlines and they will not take any responsibility for their inability to build it right the first time. They over promise and under deliver flat out. Joel promised everything and once we were on contract he no longer returns calls and just continues pushing new customers on an overwhelmed project staff that can't handle the current work load. Their project management is stretched way too thin and they keep selling more pools. Do your self a favor and do not do business with this company.
