Understanding my situation, getting me an urgent appointment, and then calling me back to let me know to come even earlier because I may be in pain. also, beyond the humanity, everything was conducted with highest professionality. And when Dr. Newman realized that she could not provide some of the required specialized treatment, she suggested where I could get help, and even prescribed antibiotic just in case I could not get help in time and experienced discomfort. I've been coming here for 18 years and everyone here is stellar. The front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful, all the hygienists are great, and Dr Newman and Dr Hooper are consistently amazing at what they do, in addition to being a delight to speak to! I scheduled a cleaning and arrived on time. The front desk lady asked me to update my forms which was the regular Covid questions. Then I came to an item that I had to initial It informed me that I have to pay $20 for the Covid protection gear that the office had to buy. I asked her if the insurance covered this. She said no. It comes out of pocket. . That's so cold. At a time that people, including me, lost their jobs, they want us to pay for their protection gear? I would suggest you get a second opinion if you are told you need a deep cleaning. After going to a dentist yearly for over 30 years this was the first time I have ever been told that needed a deep cleaning. The cost was $800 with a 20% discount. So do your homework or pay a lot of money for something you may not need. read more

I've been going to this denist for at least 3yrs now. Dr. Hooper, is wonderful very nice and bedside manner is great. The front desk are also very nice. The only problem I decided to get an implant. I was under the impression of the cost was going to be $$$$ and I had to go to another doctor who placed the post for the implant. I wasn't aware of a treatment plan..the front desk forgot to give me the cost of the treatment, and when I asked about this charge, the girl looked at me and said she "Dr. Hooper has to make money as well" I was so disappointed because I felt decived. So....I'm having to go back bc the implant is sensitive. read more

After many, many years, due to Covid my dentist downsized his practice. A friend recommended Dr Deborah Newman, one of two practitioners at Premiere Dental. In July, my wife and I saw Dr Newman. We were blown away by the obvious excellence of this practice. The office staff, particularly, India and Angie, were warm and welcoming. The office is immaculate and they take every safety precaution to make one feel safe during Covid. Dr Newman is the the best dentist I have encountered in my long lifetime. She is obviously competent and is warm and engaging. Same with her assistant, Yaddie. Dr Newman performed a complete dental check up and carefully went over the results. Two weeks later I returned for my periodontal cleaning and Gil, the hygienist, provided the most thorough cleaning ever. Three days ago, an old crown fell out. Dr Newman's office quickly got me in today to re cement the crown. Once again, I left the office feeling oh so fortunate that Dr Newman had been recommended to me. As good as it gets. read more

Although I was in pain Dr. Newman refused to remove an infected crown and sent me to another doctor. She did, however, not refuse to charge me for the visit. I looked for a qualified dentist myself who solved the problem within 30 minutes. read more

So you know it's a five star review when you return home from getting a filling, and your first thought is "wow, I so need to yelp this". Yep, straight from the dentist chair to the computer. Dr. Hooper and the entire office staff are amazing! So great, friendly, and professional with flawless results. I have been to Dr. Hooper several times now, and not only is she a perfectionist and produces a smart smile, but she really cares. Every time I come in, she not only remembers details like where I work and to ask about my sister's job interview, but last week told me I converted her into a Yelp user as well. It's kind of like catching up with old friends, if your old friend had a drill :P Best - No pain at all. Constant reassurance. Good conversation (so its a bit one-sided with all the instruments in your mouth!). Flawless results (she even checks to make sure you can floss perfectly on the tooth she is working on or corrects it). CARING. Also easy to schedule an appointment. Hatred is not nearly a strong enough word to describe the combination of anxiety, pain, financial woe and general sense of misery that I've experienced with most dentists in Los Angeles. Having not been in 4 years because of an awful experience with my last dentist, I hit Yelp in search of a dentist who was both trustworthy and competent. I could not have been more impressed with these gals. Dr. Winther did my first cleaning herself, and took the time to explain everything that was going on with my teeth. I had 3 cavities filled on my next visit and the experience was just as gentle and anxiety-free. Even the front office staff is topnotch. Usually I have to decrypt whatever scant paperwork I can get from the dentist, figure out what kind of scam or up-sell they're trying to pull, then fight with the insurance company over more errors. Not here. Gabrielle provided me with an annotated, highlighted breakdown of all of my costs and treatment plan, took the time to explain it, and told me to call if I thought of any other questions or ran into any issues with my insurance. I can't say enough about the quality of care or the "chair-side" manner - from the initial phone call to the moment I left, it was a great experience ("great" being a relative term - this is the dentist after all). I'm thrilled to finally have a dentist that I can both trust and afford. read more

When I was new to Premiere Dental it was because the location was incredibly convenient, they were (still are) part of my network, and the reviews were positive. Four years later it's because I trust Dr. Newman and the staff. So very friendly, clean, and professional. I'm no longer in the area but to me it's worth the drive. They try to be as accommodating as possible with the schedules, and send online reminders when your appointment is coming up (easy cancellation / rescheduling too if needed). Dr. Newman will walk you through everything she sees and recommends doing, and will continue to tell you want is going on during the procedure step by step. In between the process she'll also tell some great stories about her kids :) The one down side is the parking situation, $6 for an hour or more. read more

I have found my dentist. (Insert sound effects) Dr. Hooper is awesome! On time or early, every time and zero pain, and I do mean zero. Bring your music on your phone or iPod and sit back and relax, in just a few songs Dr. Hooper will tell you its all done. The only dental care I experienced here was a regular teeth cleaning, which, by the way, was great. Normally I'd be difficult to impress by a dental practice since my previous dentist was so darned good, but this dental experience was by far the most pleasant ever. Their customer service is top notch; everyone there is so friendly. Dr. Winther is great to converse with, so much that I was able to relax and be comfortable the whole time. It's not about being talkative (I had a hygenist in the past who was quite agitating with the motor-mouth droning actually); she really is humorous and engaging. I went to see Dr. Neuman for a check up and cleaning. The parking is $6 which I didn't like only because I'm not used to paying for parking at the dentist. I realize paying for parking is happening more and more now so I can live with it. There's a big lot not far from the office. The office is fairly large and in ok shape. The receptionist was very nice and greeted me right away. I didn't have to wait long for my appt. Dr. Neuman was very nice and did a very comprehensive exam. She started with my jaw and neck and looking into my mouth and then went through all the teeth recoding what had previously been done. She also did the cleaning herself since it was my first time. The exam was an hour and a half in total. I think my teeth are in good hands. read more

Dr. Winther and the office staff got me back on track and was very explanatory about my treatment plan and options. I'm actually looking forward to my 6 month check-up. I've been a patient of Dr. Newman after my then boyfriend/now husband recommended her. She has been amazing with both of us, she is ultra nice, down to earth, very detail-oriented and amazingly knowledgeable. She is hands-on, unlike other dentists that only give you five minutes after the whole office has seen you. The hygienists are friendly and have a gentle hand. Everybody at the office are super nice and friendly, you can chat and laugh with them , showing you pearly whites proudly! Traumatized! Needed emergency dental work and literally just moved to the area. I turned to Yelp! and read about this place. The office staff was very friendly in helping make my appointment and getting my insurance pre-authorized BEFORE I arrived. They forgot to quote my xrays but told me about the added fee before I left so I was ok with that. The office is newer and clean, but I didn't really care for the $6 parking fee. I parked in the nearby Ralph's lot and walked 2 blocks...hey it was nice out and I needed to go to the grocery store later anyway. Dr. Newman fixed my crown and she was AWESOME. She told me everything she was doing along the way, and really put me at ease. I'm not afraid of the dentist, but I AM inquisitive so I appreciated her keeping me informed. Her chair side manager is second to none. I hope my new dental insurance plan will allow me to keep coming back for routine dental services. read more
