Not only are Dr. Capio and Dr. Chyu excellent dentists, they are compassionate and they take care of your dental needs quickly and painlessly. I've had extreme anxiety about going to the dentist for many, many years, due to so many bad experiences with dentists and hygienists who have caused me pain and have not solved my problems. As a side note, I've actually jumped out of a chair and left the office, mid-cleaning, because the hygienist did not know what she was doing and I was having a panic attack. I'm so relieved to have found Dr. Capio and Dr. Chyu. Their entire staff is top notch! My dental hygienist is thorough and never causes me any pain or discomfort. Dr. Chyu helped solve my teeth grinding issues and fitted me with a mouthguard that I wear at night. I've tried this in the past with other dentists with little success of me wearing it due to discomfort. The fitting of the mouthguard that Dr. Chyu made for me is so comfortable, I wear it every night without any problems sleeping from night one! Dr. Capio has worked on my teeth due to exposed roots and the procedure was quick and painless. His energy is so calm, friendly, and compassionate. He told me everything that he was going to be doing so there was no need for me to feel nervous. In fact, this is the first time I've been to the dentist where I've had NO ANXIETY at all!!!! And to make my experience even more calming, the dental assistant gave me the TV remote and I got to choose what I wanted to watch while my procedure was being performed! I went to Dental Solutions today for the first time. I saw Dr Capio for a crown replacement consult. He advised me of his options and what he recommended of those options. I appreciated his advice and letting me know what else I could do. Dr Chyu was available at an earlier time so I saw her for crown prep, teeth cleaning and whitening. She was very gentle and had a kind demeanor. My teeth are bright white now! I will be back in 2 weeks for the crown and am overall happy with their service. I visited Dental Solutions for the first time last week and had a great experience. I came in for a new patient exam and cleaning. All staff were warm and welcoming. The office was sparkling clean. The hygienist did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth - it felt so good. He also took a full mouth set of x-rays which came up immediately on the monitor in the room. The dentist, Dr. Capio, did a complete check-up. He was warm, engaging, and interested in finding out if I had any concerns. The office staff checked me in and out quickly. My husband is a retired dentist, and has had more extensive dental treatment here. We go to this practice because it meets our expectations of the kind of excellent dental professionalism we expect, the same kind that was practiced at my husband's office.
