It wasn't a big deal for me, as I could've used this is a haggling point. When I mentioned this fact to Arnauld, he told me that it wasn't bought at auction, despite me looking at the same vehicle with the same VIN on the auction archive website, sold by the insurance company as a total loss. If they are going to lie about this, what else would they lie to customers about? Like I said, I didn't even find this to be a big deal, however the fact that I had the evidence to show that it was a total loss vehicle bought at auction and was lied to over the phone in regards to the origins of the vehicle ensured that I will never buy a vehicle from them, and encourage all others to do their research on the vehicle, especially the VIN of the one they are looking to purchase, before ever trusting what they say. I'd also not trust their Google reviews, as a lot of them seem to be fraudulent reviews that aren't associated to real customers. Given their inventory and the amount of time that cars sit on their lot, it is quite suspicious that they have apparently "sold" over 60 cars in the past 6 months.
