Pains me to write a poor review on a small business owner, however I will say this company is not 24/7 as stated on its website. I also had a leak over the weekend on a Saturday and did not get a hold of this guy until Tuesday. Meanwhile all the other plumbers in the areas still picked up their phone over the weekend to see what advice they could give me to help. James came out to my property and was friendly however the estimate he gave was $1000 more than 2 other plumbers who came to inspect my leak. Sorry James but you over charged, hard to get a hold of, and did not even follow up to see if I wanted to go through you. read more

Like the others on here, I was first referred to James at Premium One by AHS Home Warranty. He has fixed several plumbing issues at my house, including my water heater and plunging clogged pipes from my laundry unit. Someone else mentioned this, but I will say again I like that he wears those shoe coverings in my house!! I think that's incredibly courteous! I have actually hired James for private work not covered by the insurance company, and have been extremely pleased. He is always lower and competitive than the "bigger" companies. I would suggest you hire him to flush your water heater tank and replace faucets. The only downside is, because he is a smaller company, you have to make appointments weeks in advance (sometimes). Worth it to me if it's not an emergency. If it's an emergency, call Arman at Plumbing Dudes or 911 Plumbing. If it's cosmetic, I call James. read more

Their rep; Harry showed up on time, was professional and courteous and was able to diagnose and resolve my problem right away. They were just awful. The technician looked at our leak and said that he needed to order the part. So he left. I never heard back from him about the part. I called and they just gave me the runaround about where the part was and when they would be able to fix the leak. They never called back. I called three more times and they still gave me the runaround. I called my warranty company and complained. I told them never to send that company to me again! read more

I was fortunate enough to have Premium One Plumbing sent to our home via our Home Warranty company. After our home warranty company tried denying our claim, I was extremely grateful for James, who was there to confirm that our issue was indeed covered through the home warranty. He was extremely professional, and speedy in changing out our water pressure regulator, and went above and beyond in helping with the "secondary" faucet damage from the broken water pressure regulator that our home warranty did not cover. When I put in a claim with my home warranty company for some toilet repair I was nervous who they would send out....I was thrilled to find out that Premium One Plumbing had been assigned to me - I immediately googled them and saw the wonderful Yelp! reviews and now I am on here leaving one as well. Harry showed up in the first 15 minutes of my 2 hour window - Score! He was kind, professional, and wore booties to protect my wood floors from his shoes. Once he assessed what needed to be fixed, he got the parts and was done in no time. He even brought his own towel to clean up any water! This company was sent to us by the insurance company. We had, what appeared to be, a leak on the outside wall behind our kitchen. The guy said there was definitely a leak in the pipes and that to fix the pipe, we would need to break through the outside stucco wall. He also said insurance would not pay for any of this because he was reporting that is was a pre-existing condition (which is patently absurd). We hired another plumber for a second opinion without going through insurance. He informed us that our dishwasher was leaking. Period. There was no plumbing issue at all, and unlike the first guy. He actually crawled under the house into the crawlspace to confirm and check the pipes, and surrounding structures. Everything was fine. We replaced the dishwasher and everything resolved. I highly recommend James and Premium One Plumbing and will call them for any plumbing or water heater issues in the future. Our water heater quit working and he quickly figured out the problem and ordered the part immediately. James called as soon as it came in and arrived that same day to fix it. Premium One and James were assigned to me by American Home Shield to help with a tankless water heater issue that others could not resolve. They reached out within 24 hours, scheduled an appointment and showed up within the window they were supposed to. James was communicative and worked with the manufacturer to resolve the issue in a timely manner. He understood what the issue was based on the error codes and immediately dialed in to the manufacturer's help line to get their input. I'm always skeptical about contractors assigned by the home warranty company and was hopeful given their good reviews. The owner of this company was sent by American Home Shield . Sadly the plumber chose to go out of his way to convince my home warranty company that my " property pipe is not suppose to be covered by the Home warranty co. " What kind of a professional would do such a thing ? He was so stubborn that he actually said " there are rules" . The reality is the item is a covered item because the pipe " is inside the foundation of the home" and then extends outside the home wall by 2 inches. The key thing here is that it is a pipe inside the wall . That extends out . And it was leaking on that 2 inch elbow section, that extends out . Plus he told them he thinks there is a leak inside the wall of my garage . So logic would be that the wall is part of the foundation of the home & so it IS covered by the Home warranty co. co This man is scary for any homeowner. Why would he want to deliberately cause a homeowner financial harm. Turns out I had escalated this issue to a higher level with my home warranty co. And the rep said well , the homeowner ( me ) has a valid point that if the pipe originates inside the wall. Then it it is covered. I resent the plumber trying to cause me harm for no reason at all. read more

Complete scam. Stood in my driveway and condescendingly said that I needed a washer. I said it was the faucet which was attached to my house. He said the washer needed to be replaced on the faucet attachment. He just stood there while I went to the shed got a new faucet attachment with a brand new washer and attached it myself. Turned on the water and the faucet sprayed everywhere all over the driveway. He didn't fix the faucet. Looked at the leak and said he would need to get permission and order a part. He did nothing and left without fixing the faucet. Never heard back from him. Never called back. I called my warranty company and complained and they did nothing. This company is a complete scam. Don't use them EVER! BAD BAD BAD. read more

This company is great if you want to be talked to unprofessionally by the plumber (who is the owner, by the way). One of us had a slight mix-up on the appointment time; I worked from home and was there all day but didn't answer my phone right away because I wasn't expecting his call already. I called back 5-10 minutes later, he was already gone and he proceeded to berate me very unprofessionally. I can't believe anyone would talk to a customer that way. If you decide to use this company and ever have a dispute, I hope you have a really thick skin and high tolerance for arrogance. PS. AHS refused to send another company out so I paid out of pocket for another fellow who fixed the problem with no issues. read more

I highly recommend Premium One Plumbing. My kitchen sink was recently clogged. I made an appointment for them to come out. The service was speedy and efficient. Harry was the plumber on call. He immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. What was really unbelievable was the fact that he was telling me how wonderful Armenian pastries were since I told him I loved Armenian food but was not familiar with their desserts. To my amazement he came back the following week and brought me this delicious chocolate Nutella type donuts called Ponchik. What great customer service! We love Harry!!! The whole crew really was professional and amazing. They repaired our sewer line and were in and out in 28 hours. (Work was finished end of day one but we had to wait for the city inspector before they could fill in the holes) they left the place looking exactly how it did when they got there down to my roses. He also came and checked out an additional leak the termite inspector made sound horrible and discovered it was just a lack of seal around the tub and fixed it right away. read more

I put too much crap down my garbage disposal at once and somehow ended up clogging all three kitchen sinks. I plunged and plunged but only managed to pull loads of black slime up through the drains. I found Premium One Plumbing through yelp, called them up, and James was out here within the hour. He cleaned out the "clean out drain" under the house, fixed the clog in under 20 minutes, and even made sure that there were no messes left after he was done. Really great service! I even left voicemail couple of times and there was no response. Will never use them again. Worst customer service !! read more

My home warranty from AHS does not cover filters. He called AHS for me to be sure and then helped me order one. When the new filter came he replaced it for me at no additional charge. Greedy. Lazy. Worst experience ever. My home insurance (American Home Shield) sent them. I think it was Harry. And for the last 10 years I owned my house every plumber they sent fixed the problem, which was cleaning out the pipe from the roof. Harry refused because "it wasn't covered" unless I paid him an extra $75 on top of the service fee I paid him, but every plumber before him said it takes 5 minutes and they had no problem doing it. So I had no choice to pay Harry/Premium One Plumbing an extra $75 dollars to fix it and guess what? It took him less than 5 minutes to do it. So greedy. Avoid at all costs. I wish American Home Shield would get rid of Premium One Plumbing as they're always so horrible and give everyone a bad name. read more
