I don't usually write reviews on yelp but I had to applaud the work done by Jose on my car. I just had my 2011 sti hatch plasti dipped in satin black by Jose. What an amazing job he did! His attention to detail resulted in a superb product and I can't thank him enough. Communication, pricing and appointment was easily done through yelp. He did such a great job, my wife and I are thinking about getting our Ascent dipped as well. Don't hesitate to do business with him. He is a professional and will not disappoint. Thanks again Jose!

Jose is very polite and professional. He showed up on time at my place and got to work right away. He sanitized and cleaned my wheels and gas cap before dipping. He even went as far as painting the inside of my gas cap because every time I would get gas it would show the chrome. 10/10 Person 10/10 Job Went above and beyond my expectations. tl;dr: Made two appointments. Appointment one, cancelled due to family emergency. Appointment two, no call no show. Text proof pic attached. Avoid. So I'm going to approach this review as level headed as possible by just explaining the facts, although I'm pretty annoyed right now. I set an appointment with Jose about a month ago. He seemed great on the phone, the price point was right, and the process he explained seemed convenient. I tend to work late into the night and finished around 4am deciding to stay up until he was scheduled to be here at 8am. He told me that it had to be 8am because he was an hour and a half out (not sure why he has Gardena as his address - that's 11 miles/20 min away on a weekend). Regardless, I understand him wanting to book early to keep an afternoon appointment available. 7am (less than the hour and a half he said it took to get to me) rolls up and I get a text saying he can't make it due to a family emergency. I'm disappointed because I was looking forward to his service and I lost a night of sleep BUT i get it...stuff happens. I'm not quick to assume this has anything to do with how he operates. A few weeks go by and we finally book another appointment for 9am today (Sunday 12.9.18). Again, I stay up after work so I don't sleep through my appointment. My schedule is not his fault. However, it's 12pm right now. I texted him just before 8am and tried calling him at 9:15am, another text at 10am and a call just now with no response. I don't get it. I have cash in hand and this is your business. Why make appointments if you are just going to not show up or even reach out. It's extremely rude to your customers and it shows that you are careless when it comes to business. AT LEAST TEXT OR CALL. Maybe I dodged a bullet though. I really can't imagine someone giving much of a care to their actual job when they can't even show up to the appointments they set themselves. So in my honest opinion, I would suggest everyone look elsewhere for plasti dipping. Price wise, I got quotes from shops in the area for only $50 above Jose's price. And $50 extra is worth it if you actually get the service you scheduled for. I attached a pic of the texts that were exchanged as proof. 0/5 stars Update: It's 6pm and I still have not heard anything from Jose. At least have the decency to reach out even if you know I am never trying to use your service. read more

I really love what he does and he will love your car like if it was his. The amount of detail he will give too the job is just amazing. He showed up too my house very friendly and got straight to the point which was my wheels. He cleans them and sanitizes them so that the product will last. I was recommended to Jose by a friend to get my wheels customized by him, and I'm glad I took them up on their suggestion! He quoted me a great price that was better than a lot of local shops and he was able to come to my place to do the work! Custom Metal Finishing

I took an electrical panel door to CMF for powder-coating. The finished product was "just OK"…read more I dropped the project off on a Monday and was told it would take one week to complete. I called the following Tuesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Wednesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Thursday and finally got a hold of Antwione. He seemed confused by who I was but after I reminded him, he confirmed that the piece was ready for pick-up. When I picked up the piece Antwione showed me what I needed to do to reattach the door (use a screwdriver to pry the butterfly clips apart) but would not do it for me (I suppose he didn't want the liability if anything broke). He also explained that the spring latch would bounce back once the door was attached. Unfortunately, the spring latch broke the minute we got the butterfly clips back on. The door (which was warped during the process and will no longer lie flat) is now being held shut with velcro strips. He charged me $130 for the project which I later found out should have probably been in the $85 - $100 range. You can see the "hook marks" where the door was held in place during the powder-coating process but since they are on the inside of the door, I'm not going to complain too loudly. I won't bring another piece back here - there is no justification for it based on the quality, price or service received.

So happy with this unique color of plasti dip on my wheels. Has a metallic grey look to it that they look just like a powder coating job, blacked out my emblems and grill black. Excellent professional job cant beat the prices plus I felt confident knowing that I have one year warranty from any issues.
