I look for service, responsiveness, and most of all quality and workmanship. Dr Wheel covers all the bases. I'll be honest, I was a little suspect at first. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Jonathan showed up promptly and got work immediately on my rim. His work and skills are impeccable. Everything LOOKED fine but after getting it checked and me looking at it, there was MORE damage they did to it from hammering it! Now it has a bad ding on the barrel and I don't know if that's even repairable! The repair work on the lip is not straight and looks bad. Spent $50 now I will have to spend another $80 or so to get it fixed right, shouldn't have been cheap and went with the $80 place. I'm sure these guys can do good curb rash work BUT NOT RIM REPAIR
