Rating is primarily for their service which I find to be good. All of their workers were very kind and informative. I probably spent an upwards of $50 total on just water while staying at the Sahara cause they sell evian for $5 per bottle. Their gelato is tasty and only $8.50 for a pretty large serving which makes me think it may not be authentic. Still tasty however. I had their chicken pesto panini and caesar salad as well. I didn't really like the chicken on the panini as it was bland. And the salad dressing was super tart to me. I had one of their double chocolate chip cookies which was scrumptious. I did want to try more of their pastries but I wasn't sure how often they bake them. This is a nice grab and go if you simply need a quick bite.

Nice fast food shop in Sahara hotel. From sandwiches to salads to pizza slices to ice cream to pastries. Located inside the main lobby it is easily accessible! Friendly staff and at the time of my visit - quick service! I had almond cake which was supposedly made in Italy. It was light yet tasty....

Prendi is the safe haven of the sahara. Its the mirage in the middle of the desert, except that its real. Lets face it, when in vegas, you try budgeting as best as you can. Prendi allows you to do that without compromising quality. The desserts are astoundingly rich and delicious. A big win for the little guy. Craving a hot pressed panini and 3am? Well, prendi is there waiting to satisfy your needs.

According to the website the early morning hours were a special for July. They open at 6am, an hour after Starbucks at 5. Was a very appreciated time for a convention goer. The heated breakfast burrito was done in a way that made the tortilla crisp, which is different from most places, and was an appreciated texture first thing in the morning. They also heated the croissant, which is something i've not seen often, but was welcome. With it being a seasonal opening, i can't say much about their usual offerings, but at 6am they opened on time and were welcoming. I don't have long on my trip, but I will probably stop there again for breakfast tomorrow. The night version from 4PM-4AM is even better They have a gigantic $8 gelato that allows you to get two flavors. Bumps it up to a 5 star automatically for the generous portions. The gelato is thick enough to snap spoons, and they gave me two after my first one broke which was quite nice of them.

One walked past this place for the past day or so. Had a taste for sorbet so I stopped in. The have plenty of different flavors to choose from. I tried the blood organs he and it was pretty good! Customer service was great, very friendly staff. It's also plenty of seating for you to sit and eat your sorbet

This is a new restaurant inside the Sahara. When I first approached it, I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. In addition to good taste, focaccia pizza is bready and filling. Since I don't eat much on poker trips--and since I will sometimes have a cup or two of red wine while playing at night--this is the perfect recipe for satisfying your hunger and comfort. The dude who works here wears an Italian hat and either doesn't speak perfect English or pretends not to so it fits the theme. I hope it's the latter. That would be kick-ass. The gelato is also solid. Overall, recommended.

Tried the cheese burger, was told $13 but charged $14 plus tax, so about $17. No lettuce or any veggie. Bread was so hard it was not edible. Pattie was so dry. I tried to eat it but end up throwing it away.

The coffee is okay. They only serve hot coffee. If you like cold brew coffees adjacent to the shop is SB but they close early.

Finally gave this location a try. Maybe I was right to avoid them…read more Hui Lau Shan is a chain originating from Hong Kong that offers certain fruit-forward desserts, often involving a lot of cold or icy components. Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

Finally made my way to this bakery as I have been wanting to check it out…read more It is a very cute cafe, very friendly and attentive staff. We just had a huge lunch, so we ordered 1. a matcha latte, iced, and it was delicious! 2. blueberry cheesecake crepe: excellent fillings and blueberries, very light, not heavy and not too sweet. I asked to not have the powder sugar dusted on and it was perfectly sweet for me. 3. Panna Cotta with tiny little jello lemon cubes on top. It was tangy and sweet, more on the tangy side and it was good. The Panna Cotta was very smooth. The place is small, has a few tables but it has a huge outdoor seating area which is perfect for when the weather is not extremely hot and you can have our pups with you. Definitely would return.

Thank you, Mike, for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the other…read moreservice issues I experienced. However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.
