Here's a cleaned-up version that keeps your energy and voice:…read more Okay, so for the 66 Diner: we stopped here during our Route 66 road trip, which most of you know I've been taking very seriously. I've been hitting all the spots I can and being very strategic about the food stops. This place is nostalgic, historic, and right along the way in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It gives you all the old-school diner vibes immediately. I will say, all the young ladies working there were extremely nice, and the service was great. It definitely passes the vibes test. The burger tasted like that classic all-American diner burger. Not too greasy, but not trying to be some "beyond meat" situation either. Just good stuff. The fries were great, and very, very, very importantly: it passes the ranch test. We had a side salad with ranch, and the ranch tasted good on the salad and even better with the fries dipped in it. We also had the 66 Burger, which comes with green chiles. I had never had that on a burger before, but it was a really good twist and a nice local touch. Green chiles seem to be a big thing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, so it was cool to try that there. The onion rings were great too. If I hadn't been so full, and if it wasn't noon with eight more hours of driving ahead of us, I definitely would've gotten a shake too. All in all, absolutely great classic Route 66 vibes. It has all the nostalgia, great service, and great food. 10/10 recommend. Everyone should go.

By far the best stop while in Albuquerque on our Route 66 adventure. Walking through the front…read moredoor transported us back to the Golden Age of Diners and the Mother Road. Super friendly staff especially our server, Brady. It was the perfect ending to a day of driving. I ordered the Chicken Ranchero and a Chocolate Covered Strawberry shake. Both were delicious and enough food for two people. One of the best shakes I've ever had! Came to the table all dressed up in a tall soda glass with enough extra served up in the stainless steel shake mixing cup it was made in. This place is a must stop while out on your Route 66 travels.

We had heard about a converted industrial site (used by the railroads), that became a food hall…read more We decided to check it out. It's got something like a dozen different food outlets to please everyone. There are a couple of bar setups, too, that looked like fun. We got tacos, and some Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed them a lot. The place has plenty of tables, an upstairs area, and a large screen tv to take in while you dine. ... we enjoyed the experience so much that we went back a second night, and got noodle dishes, poke bowls, and a salad bowl. (We took these to go and went up the sandia tram and ate at picnic tables overlooking the city) Everything we ate was really good, and reasonably priced. And there are very many vegetarian options, and at least a few vegan ones, too. People say parking can be a hassle, but we didn't experience that. But the lot is small for the space size, so I can see how it could be an issue.

ABQ has a fantastic food hall named Sawmill, and here's more you need to know…read more A: fter everyone chooses their meal, seating is first come first serve for all at various tables indoors or plenty of outdoor (covered) seating outside. Loved the environment. B: ring your savings bc it is a little spendy and will add up. Easily over $100 for us 2 adults and 2 kids. Q: uite an extensive range of food options here, like Italian pasta, tacos, German food, poke bowls, sushi, waffles, pastries, fried chicken, sandwiches, salads, and Mediterranean. You won't be left dehydrated either, either stands for frozen lemonade, custom old fashioneds, specialty dirty sodas and milkshakes, and Little Bear coffee bar. Our party had frozen lemonade, a tuna poke bowl (a little light on tuna and heavy on seaweed), California roll, and creamy lemon chicken pasta. The pasta was flavorful and a hefty serving. I also enjoyed one of the best iced vanilla lattes I've ever had at Little Bear (balanced, flavorful, not overly sweet).

We were excited to try this new American cocktail bar. Shout out to Yelp again for the find…read more Moseyed in on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait for a table. In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

Great servers! Everyone was helpful and kind so front of house manager must be doing their job!…read moreFood was delicious. Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.
