Had an excellent experience with Brandon at this establishment. Ambience: The urban jungle styled interior is kept clean with very minimal accent pieces, (unlike many barber shops that are filled with random memorabilia and end up looking tacky) and while it is a somewhat narrow space, it is appointment only so it was anything but crowded or cramped. There was an oak stool on the other side of the shop for waiting customers but while I was there no one was waiting - all who came in came right to the chair. In the hour and a half I was there I saw the floor swept multiple times, and stations cleaned as regularly as one would expect. Soda, water, and a variety of candy were well stocked and available. Some chill reggaetón played during my cut - audible enough to cut the occasional silence but low enough to relax to or maintain conversation without having to raise my voice. Not sure what the "stinky little place" reviewer was talking about... all I could smell here was a bit of hair product and the occasional whiff of the food from the restaurant next door. In general I would say the atmosphere here flows comfortably in between urban prep and casual. The Cut: Brandon's calm and approachable disposition was pleasant to make conversation with. He was very attentive to my initial description for the cut, and replicated the picture I showed him to a tee without asking to see it again once, making sure to stop along the way to ask whether I liked how it was looking. In conversation it is clear that although humble, he takes great pride in his profession and takes it very seriously, which is very reassuring to hear when at the mercy of a stranger's clippers. His care, talent and attention to detail is undeniable, and I say that as someone who is extremely picky with barbers because of a general lack of the latter in most. At the end of my cut, which was already as perfect as I thought I could want, he offered to add line enhancements, which if you are a waver you will recognize as a service not commonly offered, especially in an area like Glendale. Overall I was very pleased with my visit and my cut, and look forward to coming back again. If I could give 6 stars I would. read more

Not a good BARBERSHOP AT ALL. The person that cut my hair was the guy closest to the door, his name is Travis i think and he sucked. Ive been to alot of shops in the city of glendale and ive never seen someone BREATH smell so bad while talking to a customer. On top of that, he couldn't even get a fade done correctly nor my beard. I asked him to trim my hair ant beard multiple times and he didnt do it, instead he went and smoked his vape and talked to the other barber that was on the side of him instead of paying attention to my hair cut. Ive seen other reviews saying the same thing, that they dont pay attention to what the customer wants AT ALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY and save your time and do not go here. I was referred by a good friend that highly recommend this shop. It's especially difficult to find a shop that provides awesome service in this current situation. There prices are very fair and Travis the owner / barber is awesome. The location is a small (3) chair shop so they take only appointments. Travis hooked me up. I literally went there for the first time today because I was looking for a new barbershop, due to moving to Burbank. Got lucky online at their website, booked a 4pm and got cut. I was on my motorcycle when i ran out of gas literally pulling up to the shop. Like i said before this was MY FIRST TIME being at this barbershop and Travis not only gave me a great cut (razor fade) he let me borrow his truck to go to the gas station and grab a gallon of gas for my Harley. HIS PERSONAL TRUCK. ive never even met the guy before. For him to offer that to me just shows how dope of a guy he is. And he truly cares about his clients. This place was smaller than I imagined, but no worries, it felt cozy and welcoming. Great service, great people, and great haircuts. I asked for a comb over style haircut, and that's exactly what I received. My barber, Travis has a great attitude, and he was very friendly. The place is rustic and easy on the eyes, with nice decor. My cut was great, everything I wanted was done correctly.
