They were great at offering recommendations when I asked, and even filled up my water bottle while I waited, which I thought was very kind of them. My food was ready exactly within the estimated window, which is always appreciated. I ordered the Adana Kebab because I'm a big fan of lamb, especially in the Adana style, and I have to say their version is fantastic. The lamb is seasoned so flavorfully and pairs beautifully with the accompanying orzo rice pilaf, the fresh and acidic salad, medley of raw vegetables, and the warm pieces of lavash. They also included their house sauce and a house-made hot sauce, which added a nice bit of punchiness to he meal overall. I enjoyed my takeout meal very much so look forward to going back to try more of the menu fresh out of the kitchen as the ambience was very much a cozy and intimate one. read more

The food that I ordered was honestly just ok. I ordered a salad with the gyro meat and the meat was super fatty. Some pieces inedible and very chewy. Fabulous experience! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Presidio Kebab. My wife tried the Yakut red wine from Turkey that was a little sweet and very good. We started with some Greek fries and Baba Ghanosh that were tasty. My wife enjoyed the lentil soup and a Greek Salad. Came here on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away without a reservation. I would describe the ambiance here as elevated yet comfortable. The servers were very attentive which we appreciated. We ordered the Iskender and Adana kebab, both of which were good, though the Adana was our favorite. The lamb had a rich, smoky flavor that paired perfectly with the accompanying sauce, and the rice was very flavorful. The server brought hot sauce for us midway through the meal. Came here on a Sunday late afternoon close to 2p. There was just a few people and no wait at that time. I thought I was under dressed, cargo pants and a t-shirt, but thankfully it was in the afternoon. I would definitely dress better if it was in the evening. It's a nice place. The service was great. Ambiance was nice. We got the Babaganoush & Greek fries for appetizer. I don't think I've ever had shakshuka but it was good and seemed fresh. The pita bread was good that went with it. They did ask if we wanted more pita bread, so I guess that's refillable. It was just enough for us so we didn't need more. The fries were ok. There was a lot! Normally, I like thin fries but only if it's slightly crispy. These weren't as crisp. For the entree, I got a Greek salad. The feta tasted a little different to me but other than that, it was good. My friend got the lamb kebabs. I tried one and it was good. It didn't taste gamey. It was good as my friend ate all of it. The Presidio Kebab is such a hidden gem in the city! Stopped in last weekend & was so pleasantly surprised with the huge variety of dishes & drinks that they have. There's a good amount of parking nearby & the interior is so cute, it's a perfect spot for a lunch / dinner date (though we found out they do bottomless mimosa brunch, too!) Their mezzes & wine were great and we really enjoyed our entrees (Kofte Wrap + Iskender). Everything was a good amount of food & in my opinion a pretty great value for the price. Absolutely delightful experience! We chose the Kuzu Sis Kebab--it was so flavorful and tender, accompanied by a dill sauce that was also amazing. The salad was excellent--a pickled red cabbage and I believe Romaine lettuce. The hot sauce is homemade. The homemade baklava was delicious--not too sweet, and the pistachios on top were also so fresh. I had a mint tea with the dessert. The service was fantastic. He was attentive and sweet. Here we go again. Not even two weeks went by, but we had to go back to dive into another delicious meal. We enjoyed the combination platter so much that we had to have an encore for this dish. A decent neighborhood restaurant for locals. Friends had suggested we drive up from Silicon Valley for a New Year's Eve supper. They picked this place and it has the usual Mediterranean region vegetarian options. That worked out pretty well for my wife. I had the lamb skewers. Two skewers of lamb chunks and a half cup of rice on the side. The lamb chunks quickly dried out, which is the problem with shish kebabs generally. The wait staff is pretty good. I don't like not being presented a bill that I can review however. Nor do I like the little sigh of exasperation, when asked for the bill details. Given how cheap the ingredients are relative to the menu price, I suggest they look at the Buco di Beppo model of menu pricing. read more

This place was amazing for lunch after playing pickleball nearby! I went for the first time with my friends and we ordered pretty much everything on the menu to share. The service was great! We had quite a few different servers wait on us and clear our table. One of them even helped me pick out a nice glass of white wine: the Justin. Decided to stop by for (a very late) breakfast (like 1pm...) and we were HUNGRY. So we went with the Sultan's Breakfast for 2! It came with a side "salad" of chopped tomatoes and cucumber (no dressing), which was surprisingly refreshing, lots of hot fresh pita, some scrambled eggs with slices of Turkish sausages, and some sweet breakfast-y cold mezzes. My only wish was that they subbed out the olives for something else (I'm really not an olives girl), and maybe I'll ask for that substitution next time. The greek yogurt with a generous amount of honey was my favorite of these. If you haven't tried Turkish coffee before, I think it's hit or miss. I've tried it a couple times now and keep forgetting it's not my favorite preparation of coffee. It comes in a tiny cup and half of it is pure coffee grounds, and also comes with a Turkish delight. I love how authentic this is, but just not my cup of tea, unfortunately! I've been here for dinner service as well and the waitstaff are always great--quick to refill your water or your pita basket, clean up after empty plates. A spontaneous date night dinner at Presidio Kebab made for a new spot in our restaurant rotation! We got in a little before 8pm on a Friday and there were many available tables to choose from. The ambiance is grand yet intimate, it almost feels like you are having dinner in a rich person's dining room. We started with the combo platter that came with baba ghanoush, ezme, cacik, dolma, shakshouka, feta cigars, falafel, and warm pita. Everything that came with the platter was absolutely delicious, with my personal favorite as the shakshouka, which was different than the versions of shakshouka I had previously had. It was served cold, with bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions stewed in a flavorful tomato sauce. The cacik and baba ghanoush were my next favorites, with the cacik like a thicker, creamier version of tzatziki. I will definitely order this again the next time I'm here! Because we weren't too hungry, we ended up splitting the salmon entrée, which was actually more than enough for us. The salmon was served with veggies, hummus, and a caperberry butter sauce, which was a flavor I have never had before. The caperberries were like pickled olives, they were quite salty and sour. The salmon was overcooked to our taste, we prefer it a bit blush pink on the inside. Next time, I'd ask for a different cook on the salmon but it did have a good flavor from the grill. The veggies were all cooked well and I loved the hummus that came with the dish, super creamy and smooth. We ended the meal with baklava and an espresso. The honey syrup was so floral and seeped through the layers of crisp phyllo and walnuts, I loved the baklava. The service was attentive and the team was professional and welcoming.
