    Yaprak Doner Plate

I had the Yaprak Doner and Kunefe. Both were delicious and well portioned. The yaprak is crispy and hearty and pairs well with the garlic sauce. My friend and I both loved the rice that comes with the dish. It's just the right amount of salty and it has a great textural softness. Their service is wonderful and their food is great. Some of the pictures of the Kunefe make it look really big... It's about the size of a small appetizer, which was enough to feed 2.

Went here on a weeknight for early dinner before a show. Cute corner spot right on Presidio with easy parking. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the lamb/beef Donner and the mezze sampler which was accompanied by slices of pita. We finished with freshly made baklava. Unfortunately both pieces were oversaturated with the simple syrup that is poured over the stuffed phyllo dough.

Fabulous experience! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Presidio Kebab. My wife tried the Yakut red wine from Turkey that was a little sweet and very good. We started with some Greek fries and Baba Ghanosh that were tasty. My wife enjoyed the lentil soup and a Greek Salad. We recommend asking for extra lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side for extra flavor. I had the steak kebab medium and it was prepared perfectly. The service was stellar, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back:)

Came here on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away without a reservation. I would describe the ambiance here as elevated yet comfortable. The servers were very attentive which we appreciated. We ordered the Iskender and Adana kebab, both of which were good, though the Adana was our favorite. The lamb had a rich, smoky flavor that paired perfectly with the accompanying sauce, and the rice was very flavorful. The server brought hot sauce for us midway through the meal. It was really good, I highly recommend asking for hot sauce if you're into spicy food. We also tried Ayran for the first time, a yogurt-based drink that was refreshing and complemented the dishes nicely. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable dining experience, and a reliable spot if you're in the mood for Mediterranean food.

The Beef Kebab was delicious. . Cooked well outside but really juicy inside. The Fita bread was soft and fresh. The salad and vegetables are really tasty and crispy. The service was great. Very polite and welcoming. The place is nicely decorated. Very classy and spacious. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. I recommend giving them a try for delicious food.

Came here on a Sunday late afternoon close to 2p. There was just a few people and no wait at that time. I thought I was under dressed, cargo pants and a t-shirt, but thankfully it was in the afternoon. I would definitely dress better if it was in the evening. It's a nice place. The service was great. Ambiance was nice. We got the Babaganoush & Greek fries for appetizer. I don't think I've ever had shakshuka but it was good and seemed fresh. The pita bread was good that went with it. They did ask if we wanted more pita bread, so I guess that's refillable. It was just enough for us so we didn't need more. The fries were ok. There was a lot! Normally, I like thin fries but only if it's slightly crispy. These weren't as crisp. For the entree, I got a Greek salad. The feta tasted a little different to me but other than that, it was good. My friend got the lamb kebabs. I tried one and it was good. It didn't taste gamey. It was good as my friend ate all of it. I would come back here and recommend if you're looking for Mediterranean food.

The Presidio Kebab is such a hidden gem in the city! Stopped in last weekend & was so pleasantly surprised with the huge variety of dishes & drinks that they have. There's a good amount of parking nearby & the interior is so cute, it's a perfect spot for a lunch / dinner date (though we found out they do bottomless mimosa brunch, too!) Their mezzes & wine were great and we really enjoyed our entrees (Kofte Wrap + Iskender). Everything was a good amount of food & in my opinion a pretty great value for the price. Plus I am personally biased towards walnut baklava & theirs was some of the best I've had in the bay! Will definitely be coming back.

We ordered the combo meze, lamb & beef plate with a side of chicken. The meat was on the dryer side, having the combo meze dips helped since we could add sauce to it. We ordered the baklava and it was good but it was a really small serving. Service was great!

This place was very good for several reasons. The portions are perfect and have a good balance of food for the price. The servers are sweet and attentive. Walked in on a random night and got the Yaprak doner and some fries. Left happy and full because the food had real flavor.

Good quality food, well cooked and nicely plated. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Clean restaurant and bathroom.

Absolutely delightful experience! We chose the Kuzu Sis Kebab--it was so flavorful and tender, accompanied by a dill sauce that was also amazing. The salad was excellent--a pickled red cabbage and I believe Romaine lettuce. The hot sauce is homemade. The homemade baklava was delicious--not too sweet, and the pistachios on top were also so fresh. I had a mint tea with the dessert. The service was fantastic. He was attentive and sweet. The ambiance made us feel like we were in a Turkish cafe. Pretty Turkish art on the walls. We will definitely be back again.

Kunefe - sorry. Occupational habit. Dug in before taking the pic.

Here we go again. Not even two weeks went by, but we had to go back to dive into another delicious meal. We enjoyed the combination platter so much that we had to have an encore for this dish. This time I ordered the Tavuk Shish Kebab (chicken breast skewers). Everything on the main entree plate was perfect, but the orzo rice pilaf was a YUM eye opener. More please. My boyfriend had the Falafel Plate that he inhaled. Don't need to wash that plate. And we finished our meal with addictive Kunefe, Baklava and Turkish coffee. Aisha, thank you for taking such good care of us. Cheers!

Very high quality, authentic Mediterranean cuisine. We drive by all the time and decided to give it a try. There's plenty of parking in the area. This spot has a nice cozy yet intimate vibe so would be a great date spot. Here's a rundown of everything I tasted and how I would rate them. Pita and hot sauce: A Dolmas: B Falafel: A Sigara Boregi (feta cheese, dill, parsley egg roll): A Babaganoush: B+ Spicy Ezme: C+ Cacik (like tzatziki): B Shakshuka: B- Kuzu sis kebab (Marinated lamb): B+ Yaprak doner (Ground beef and lamb): A- Karides sis kebab (Grilled shrimp): A+ Kuzu incik (Lamb shank): A- Sutlach (oven baked rice pudding) A+ Lemonade: A Standout appetizers were the Sigara Boregi, it's like an egg roll filled with cheese and herbs, felt familiar yet unique in flavor. Also their falafel is oddly shaped like an oval but is very tasty and perfectly textured. For entrees I enjoyed the shrimp kebab, ground beef and lamb kebab the most in terms of flavor. The lamb shank is cooked to perfection and is incredibly tender. For dessert I was intrigued by the sutlach, baked rice pudding. So it was baked in the oven but cooled off to room temp to eat. It has crushed pistachios and cinnamon on top, incredibly delicious. Also, seems very random but they have very good homemade lemonade! Service is very professional here, and with tasty food across the table expect to have a great dining experience.

I ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate, and while the meat was flavorful, I wish they included more hummus. At around $25- $30 per plate, I expected a more generous portion. I ordered takeout and arrived about an hour later because the app never updated to show my order was ready. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and they didn't start preparing my food until I got there. I mentioned that I had placed the order an hour earlier and expected it to be ready, but the server seemed to brush off my concern, which was disappointing. One highlight was the hot sauce. I'm not sure if it's house-made or not, but it's so good. The pita, however, was a letdown. I prefer my pita soft, fluffy, and warm, but this one was hard and grainy. Overall, it's a cute restaurant with decent food, but it isn't my top choice.

The Stuffed falafel was so good and huge 1 is enough for 2 people. The mosabaha was very refreshing and so good. The meat combo was good overall and everything was very herbally spiced, I wasn't impressed by the lamb tho but the kebab, hummus, and chicken were great! I haven't had Mousakhan before so not sure how it should taste but to me it was sweet and savory with really well cooked chicken. I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. The kunafa was good we got it crispy and was yummy imo but was a lil oily (I think this is normal tho). Arab food isn't really spicy but it is spiced and very herbal which I felt in the food here, I appreciate that chili sauce is provided for the spice lovers. Overall, would highly recommend. It was about $100ish for everything and they recently increased their prices but tbh the portion sizes are huge and I feel like it is so worth it we had hella leftovers. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. I booked our table about a month in advance, which turned out to be the right move because the restaurant was bustling during the lunch hour. To start, we ordered four small plates to share among our party of four: meatballs, saganaki, spanakotiropita, and a pair of dips (melitzanosolata and favasalata) with pita. Everything was excellent, and our spread was inclusive of a wide variety of flavors and textures: salty, creamy, acidic, sweet, crunchy. The meatballs and the dips are definitely a must-order and are ideal for sharing. The spanakotiropita were larger and more filling than expected, so if I were to order those again, I'd dial it back and stick with small plates rather than a full-sized entree. The saganaki was a showstopper; it is served sizzling and crackling on a cast iron dish and had a nice salty flavor that allowed the cheese to be served on its own. For my main dish, I ordered the braised goat - which is not something I'd typically order because goat meat is usually tough - but I was intrigued how it was prepared as a stew. The dish almost reminded me of a Moroccan tagine - the goat was braised to peak tenderness and bathed in a slightly fruity and well-spiced sauce; dotted with pieces of melted feta; and served on top of a bed of baked orzo, which was served fresh-from-the oven in a mini cast iron dish. I was so full after our meal that I had to walk it off for a few blocks, but I cannot wait for our next special occasion so we can come back and celebrate with another feast at Kokkari Estiatorio.

The service apparently called out sick. Let's start with the good news: the food was genuinely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The mint lemonade was bright and refreshing. The chicken skewers were flavorful and perfectly cooked (though surprisingly small). The halumi salad with eggplant was a generous portion. Now for the "Mooore" part. I was hoping the restaurant's name was also a mission statement. However, we could have used more attentive service. More follow-through. More toilet paper... Unfortunately, once we were seated, we were essentially released into the wild. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code, which is perfectly fine in theory. In practice, it felt like sending requests into the void. A drink I ordered never appeared. Nobody checked on the table, so I had to get up and walk to the counter to ask about it. Later, I had to make another trip to remind them we had ordered dessert. Then another trip when we wanted a to-go box. Apparently, the evening's theme was "interactive dining," where the guests perform most of the customer service duties themselves. Tips are forced when you first order online - no refunds on that. The bathroom offered its own adventure. The trash bin was overflowing with dirty paper towels, and there was little to no toilet paper available. As the daughter of a health inspector, knowing that staff use the same facility, I would have given this a poor hygiene grade. What made the experience frustrating was that the food was good enough to make you want to come back. But when your guests spend half the meal looking for someone to help them, it takes away from what could have been a 'more' pleasant evening.

The service was friendly and welcoming even when our party came at different times. The restaurant wasn't busy given it was a Monday evening, so you would think it would go smoothly. *** OUR PICKS *** COMBO APPETIZER PLATTER ~ hummus, baba ghanouj, haydari, ezme, dolmas, merimek, falafel ~ parts of the platter were cold while the falafel was warm, but they topped it off with a sauce that didn't keep the falafel crispy, instead it softened it. I think the sauce should have been on the side. The rest of the dish was good. 4/5 LAMB KEBAB PLATE ~ this was my dish. I touched my skewers thinking they were going to be hot, but it was surprisingly cold. I'm not sure why skewers would be cold when the food should be hot right off the grill. The lamb was cooked medium rare as I requested, though there was little to no seasoning. So it was kind of gamey and tasteless 3/5 RACK OF LAMB PLATE ~ my partner chose this dish. The lamb was also very light in seasoning. The pistachio rice was interesting and nutty. Asparagus was good. 3.5/5 MIXED GRILL PLATE ~ our friend enjoyed this dish. Maybe a mixed grill is the way to go and some meats cooked and seasoned better than others. 4/5 BEEF KEBAB PLATE ~ the beef was also room temperature and lightly seasoned. 3.5/5 SALMON ~ I tried some of this and it was decent. 4/5 BAKLAVA & CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE ~ Nice birthday surprise and a sweet way to end the meal. Baklava wasn't as crispy or flaky as some I've had, but the honey-pistachio nuts were good. Chocolate mousse cake was decadent and moist. 4/5 Beautiful presentation on the plating of our food, though the timing for the food wasn't quite right as a few plates were served room temperature and not hot. However, the surprise desserts were a nice touch in helping us celebrate a birthday!
