The Bulgogi BBQ came out sizzling with a very generous amount of marinated beef and vegetables, served with rice, kimchi, lettuce wraps, radish, jalapeños, and ssamjang. Flavorful, satisfying, and definitely enough to share. My favorite and probably the most fun dish was the Shin Ramen Cup Stir-Fry with Millionaire's Bacon . My wife and I ate a several fancy restaurants for our anniversary weekend, but by far our favorite was Surisan. The location is fantastic, the service was the best, the food was divine, and the value was great! I ordered the raspberry lemonade which came fresh and delicious, and my wife and I split the blueberry mascarpone crunch french toast, the bulgogi fried rice, and the famous millionaire's bacon sampler platter. The French toast was just perfectly prepared and the flavors are amazingly on point. Just the ultimate morning sweet treat! Not joking or exaggerating, the bulgogi fried rice was the best I've ever had, and we have some very good options in Reno, but this was served so perfectly cooked, seasoned, and with the best quality beef that it was immaculate. The beef melted in my mouth where usually bulgogi is very chewy, this was not, just perfection. Then, while I would be guaranteed to return for the bulgogi alone, the millionaire's bacon flight was absolutely fantastic. Each piece of bacon was buttery smooth, extremely flavorful, and absolutely tasty in every way. My wife's favorite was the cinnamon, but I think mine was the original closely followed by the rosemary. The citron was sweet and light, the cinnamon was sugary and savory, the original was saucy and spicy, and the rosemary was fragrant and smoky. I love Korean food and I love brunch, so I knew I had to check Surisan out during my SF trip. My husband and I ordered the bulgogi fried rice and galbi sando. Both dishes were sooo delicious and I'd highly recommend them! The portion sizes are also pretty big--I actually only ate half of the galbi sando and saved the other half for another meal. Service here is friendly and we were checked up on often. The ambiance here is pretty nice and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. There was no wait when we came on a Saturday around 11:30AM. We made a reservation for 10:30am, luckily they have a 15 min grace period bc we were running late lol. There were actually quite a good amount of tables open, so even coming at 10:30am, you might not need a reservation! This is a spacious restaurant with both inside and outside seating. It's located in a touristy areas close to Pier 39. We had to look for street parking and paid $15 for 2 hr parking. Since It was a sunny day in SF so we wanted to sit outside in the patio. Food is Korean fusion and it was very flavorful. We ordered the Surisan scramble, ricotta pancakes, rice cakes, and bulgogi fried rice. Goof portions and very good service. My favorite was the creamchi rice cakes because although it looked like udon noodles, it had the chewiness of rice cakes. The thick pieces of bacon added some richness to the dish. And the kimchi added some acidity and kick to the dish. I felt the bulgogi fried rice needed more spice as it was a bit bland. We also ordered a Surisan Palmer which tasted watered down and the iced banana latte was good but so sweet. Surisan has been one of my bookmarked places to try for a while and finally got a chance to check them out. Arrived on Saturday at around 11am. We were second in the check-in line, but took some time for them to greet and seat people. We were told all the tables indoor were taken but there was seating available in the upper outside area. Hubs and kiddo shared the Kimchi fried rice and the chicken wings (honey butter / soy garlic). They noted the chicken wings were crispy. They seemed to like the soy and garlic, but would've liked more flavor for the honey butter. I ordered the Creamchi Rice Cake. Kiddo loved the sauce on top of the fried rice. This was a good dish. I can't say much about the food pictured but the presentation was good and it smelled tasty. I got the Premium Chicken Soup. It was so tasty I forgot to take a picture before digging in. I once 20 minures of my life to get the bill, pay it and leave. I should have gotten up and asked but I didn't feel like that should be required. There is a waitlist for the weekends with a 30min est. wait time but it's well worth it! Easy to kill time around the area since you're near the pier to catch a stunning morning view. It's rare to see brunch places serve porridge, which was why I was so excited for it. We had a very kind and friendly server, but because it was busy, service was a bit slow and some dishes took a while to come out. The food was delicious though! I would say the overall aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice whether you sit indoors or outdoors. Went on a Sunday for brunch around 12:30 pm with a reservation, but even if we didn't have a reservation it seems like there wouldn't have been a wait, which is good. We decided to order the K-tacos, Chicken and Ricotta Waffle, and the Blackstone Benedict. While the presentation of the food was pretty, unfortunately the waffle was soggy and not crispy at all. The blackstone benedict was good, the bacon flavor is rich and sweet. However, the yukon potatoes were disappointing as the outside was only slightly crunchy, yet the inside felt like it wasn't cooked long enough since it wasn't soft or flaky. We ordered couple dishes like banchan , bbq set tor 1 galbi, Korean Fried Chicken, dolsot bimbimbap snd pimped up ramen. All are yummy especially the fried chicken. The pimped up ramen is unique and bacon is yummy. Galbi and dolsot bimbimbap are yummy too but not that special. Usually banchan is free at most of Korean restaurant but you have to pay at this restaurant and I don't think it is re fillable. The service was great and our server was friendly. And the reservation on Yelp is very handy, it's a spacious restaurant, there was no wait for a holiday lunch for 2 adult plus 1 baby. The interior is very cozy and chil, we stayed on the patio which has two levels. Millionaire's bacon Million Dollar Bacon is pretty good, but too sweet to my liking. The Boosted Jook is really nice for a chilly winter morning (tho it's sunny today), the seafood pancake is loaded with mussels, baby squid and shrimps, it has a bit too much cabbage which reminded me of Japanese okonomiyaki.
