We made a reservation and had the option to sit either indoors or outdoors. Our server was incredibly friendly, and we came here to celebrate a birthday! There are a few similar brunch spots in San Francisco that serve millionaire bacon, but this one stands out as an Asian fusion brunch restaurant with a very clean space and a great ambiance. Chicken Wings - We tried both the hot spicy and soy garlic flavors. The wings were well made, crispy, and full of flavor. French Toast - My favorite item! It had a cream filling inside, and I believe the toast was double-fried. The fresh fruit balanced everything nicely, especially with the cinnamon syrup.

This place is trendy and big, with ample patio and inside seating. It was quiet on a Monday night and we received our food quickly. I can't say much about the food pictured but the presentation was good and it smelled tasty. I got the Premium Chicken Soup. It was so tasty I forgot to take a picture before digging in. It was hearty, comfy and enjoyable. That being said, this place is nothing special. It's a nice Korean fusion place and I'd go again if I were in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to visit. However if you are in the area, it's a worthy meal.

The food was okay. I don't go here very often, it's not my side of town and I don't often have a reason to be in the area. In the past, service was really slow. I once 20 minures of my life to get the bill, pay it and leave. I should have gotten up and asked but I didn't feel like that should be required. Over the years, they've proven to be a great spot to take friends from out of town, s long as those friends are willing, able and excited about Korean fusion. They have a few standards. This Last time I got to hang out, the staff was very accommodating, we were never rushed and the timing of the food, once we ordered as really quick to show up on the table. And they have the bacon. I wish the Bacon came inside the bloody Mary but it doesn't.

A classic Asian brunch spot! Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Service was also great. I ordered the Morning Jook, which I loved. It's rare to see brunch places serve porridge, which was why I was so excited for it. Very hearty and honestly perfect for hangovers too :P My friends and I also tried the Blueberry French Toast which was so delish. Everything was so delicious!

We had a delicious lunch at Surisan. My family ordered the French toast, chicken wings, dumpling soup, million dollar bacon, pork katsu, and kimchi fried rice. Everything was delicious but the dumpling soup, Korean fried chicken wings and million dollar bacon were the most memorable standouts. Service was solid! We'll be back if we're ever in the neighborhood.

Second visit after many years. The place still looks the same. It is closed to Giradheli square. We made reservation a day earlier. This restaurant used to be very busy one. When we arrived we were the only party but the other tables filled up pretty quickly. Looks like this restaurant has relation with Sweet Maple in Palo Alto as they serve similar dishes like pimped up ramen and the millionaire bacon. We ordered couple dishes like banchan , bbq set tor 1 galbi, Korean Fried Chicken, dolsot bimbimbap snd pimped up ramen. All are yummy especially the fried chicken. The pimped up ramen is unique and bacon is yummy. Galbi and dolsot bimbimbap are yummy too but not that special. Usually banchan is free at most of Korean restaurant but you have to pay at this restaurant and I don't think it is re fillable. The service was great and our server was friendly. Overall it was nice dinner and catch up with our cousin from overseas.

Fantastic Korean Brunch. Banana latte was a hit. The millionaire bacon is probably one of the best that I've ever had. At first, a sweet flavor that quickly shifts to a spicy kick. I would even suggest maybe only ordering the bacon if you aren't that hungry. Overall, really good food and would suggest you try if you are in the area.

Best brunch I've had in a long time. Surisan excelled with food quality, flavor and service. I got two scrambled eggs, popover, potatoes and the Millionaire bacon. I can see why Surisan is known for its Millionaire bacon because it is the best I've ever had. It's coated with brown cinnamon sugar and cayenne pepper. The balance between sweet and spicy was delicious. The eggs were fluffy, the popover was airy and sweet and the potatoes were crisp and flavorful. I also got an americano, the coffee was bold and smooth. I also love how close Surisan is to Pier 39. It was nice walking around/sightseeing after eating!

Stopped by for a Sunday noon brunch/lunch and it was busy and packed! I came with a large group of friends, so we did have a bit of a wait before we got seated. We had a very kind and friendly server, but because it was busy, service was a bit slow and some dishes took a while to come out. The food was delicious though! I ordered a Galbijim Eggs Benedict and it was sooo good! The braised short rib was flavorful and paired well with the rich egg and sauce. The potatoes were okay, but overall it was a great dish. I will say, this is definitely a very heavy dish HAHA. It will likely fill you up and give you leftovers! I washed my meal down with a matcha mojito without whipped cream. Also good! Overall this place was good! It was a bit expensive, but for the dish I got, I would say it was worth it. Might try coming at a different time/day next time though :)

We came for the wings, but the tofu soup was the fan favorite! The wings were flavorful and drenched with sauce! If you like it really wet, you'll love these wings. The tofu soup was very comforting and paired well with kimchi and white rice with furikake. My friend also ordered tacos, but those were okay. The jap chae was also pretty good. Overall, the food was okay, but I would definitely come back for the tofu soup!

Brunchy vibes with a Korean twist. Got here on a rainy Sunday - luckily had rsvp and was sat immediately. Service was great had my water topped off quite often throughout my meal. Ended up ordering kimchi fried rice, dolsot bap, and blueberry stuffed crunch French toast. The fried rice was pretty good, as was the dolsot bap - mainly cuz it was freezing cold and these were sizzling hot. However, the star for me was the French toast - the texture was amazing, as was the sweetness / fresh fruitiness of it. Would def recommend this dish. Overall - pretty good! May do the American dishes next time around as I'm hopeful from the French toast experience!

Surisan is my favorite place to eat when I'm in the bay. I remember coming here with my sister and started bringing all my friends every time we would travel to the bay. My favorites are the ricotta pancakes, the millionaire bacon, and the kimchi fried rice. The ricotta pancakes are so fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. The millionaire bacon is nice and thick and I love that there's a sweetness to it. The kimchi fried rice is so homey and familiar. The service is amazing and quick. The servers are all really nice and attentive. Surisan is also nice that it's by the water so you can check out the pier after.

Matcha coconut cloud drink and japchae well liked by kiddo. I ordered the 28$ hot stone spicy pork rice bowl. Spicy pork was the pork belly. Rice absorbed the pork fat. Bowl not sizzling rice at bottom- I misinterpreted the description. Egg on top was delicious. Millionaire thick cut bacon- it similar to the lazy dog cafe with a Korean twist on spice. Some people yum that. Service- one person for service. 1.5 hours for a quick lunch- if that's your plan- this is the place. Ambiance: clean, spacious wood lines. Outdoors available too. I'm just a tourist- so difficult to say if I will be back when there's many options. I tried it due to concierge recommendations. Nice people inside. Parking is a nearby lot by the wharf. Service mandate is not a tip, so tip on top of that too.

    Surisan Scramble very tasty

When does breakfast end? when do bottomless mimosas end?

Where is thệ nearest parking lot?

There is also a paid parking lot across the street.

Is pet friendly? And do I need reservations?

Yes they are pet friendly, thanks to their enclosed patio! Reservations are strongly recommended but walkins are also available.

My daughter is vegan and I just made reservations for dinner - do you have any vegan dishes and if so what are they? Thank you!

The closest thing to vegan, they do have tofu dishes and I think you can request the restaurant to make it vegan. But always good to contact the restaurant to see if they can accommodate your request.

I am trying to make a reservation for tomorrow night at 5:30pm for 9 people?

You should call them or try to make reservations on yelp.

Is it the same or related to Kitchen Story @ Castro?

Same ownership, but Surisan is more korean infused while kitchen story has more of a Thai influence. Surisan still has Thai touches as well.

Are there any dishes without soy and wheat?? For instance 100% rice or potatoe noodles.

Is the outdoor seating pet friendly?

Yes! Last time I saw a big pet rabbit (the size of a dog) in the out door dining. And that rabbit was riding a hot wheel when it left.

Is there any vegan options here?

I didn't see any, I'd suggest calling to get better clarity.

Do you need to provide proof of vaccination for outdoor seating?

Proof of vaccination and ID are required for indoor seating only.

    Is inside dining open?

Yes but you need to show your covid vaccination card to be seated.

Not a full bar, only beer, wine and soju cocktails

    Where do we park?

Street parking or there's a garage across street

Can you bring dogs for outdoor seating?

yes, we are a dog friendly restaurant.

    Are there vegetarian options?

There are but it's very limited (only a small selection of dishes)

Do they serve soju cocktail during brunch?

Yes they do! I posted their brunch menu which has soju options.

    Are there walk-ins on Saturdays?

Weekends are super busy & the waitlist can be so long that the wait time can be upwards of 150+ minutes. I wouldn't bank on walking in without a reservation!

How can I make reservation for sept?

The beef tartare had such a thoughtful presentation, as it was served with Asian pear upon a delicate rice cracker. I also loved the french fries and housemade potato chips that were ordered! The truffled ham and cheese croquettes had a delightful creamy spice to them due to the harissa inside them, it was so savory with a layered flavor to them. I also loved the chicken tsukune, everything was amazing to lay our eyes on and to eat. I think my very minor issue would be that I ordered non-alcoholic beverage packages for my entire party and alcoholic beverages for a few, and I would say that the selection could be a bit more expansive and also elaborate upon what beverages there are to choose from. An inclusive cocktail package would be fantastic. I would recommend this location for anyone looking to host a corporate event nearby Fidi.
