Press Coffee + Crepes is ahead of its time when it comes to unique breakfast items. Who drives from Winston to Burlington for Breakfast? I do!! I came here for the hash brown waffle they only serve on the weekends. Why they would keep such a delicious option off their weekday menu is beyond me but nevertheless here I was, sitting in their little cafe for this one thing. As my husband looked over the coffee menu items, as a non coffee drinker, I went straight for the hot chocolate. Oh my goodness, this was the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had. You're thinking, it's hot chocolate, how good can it really be? Well, I'm not kidding, it's like they few in the best and most creamy Swiss chocolate, melted it down and added fresh whole milk to it. I also felt fancy because they made that frothy art on top. It's the little things that make me smile sometimes you know? For our breakfast we orders the Hash Brown Waffle with over easy eggs, sausage patty all topped with pico and Texas Pete. We were going for those southwestern flavors. To balance it out, we also ordered the Tres Leches crepe which was filled with gooey cream and topped with strawberries and a chocolate drizzle. The hash brown waffle was absolutely delicious. It was just perfectly cooked with the best crispy exterior while not being overdone. The sausage, pico and Texas Pete gave it a little kick that woke us up without it being too spicy for us. The Crepe was a bit too gooey for my taste. The flavors were delicious but the texture was too soft and I decided the next time to order one of their other flavors. I love Tres Leches cake but this wasn't the same and it was super sweet. I'll definitely go there again to try some of their other menu items. This is a great find in my book and I hope they never stop doing those amazing hash brown waffles. read more

I went to Press and really enjoyed my nutella crepe and bacon! However I was unable to try any of the coffee, as their espresso machine was broken, which was quite a bummer. Additionally, they were out of several items on the menu, so we had to keep that in mind when ordering. The service was decent and although it was a Sunday, we were seated fairly quickly and the wait was not too long. I would certainly go back and would love to try their coffee drinks when the espresso machine is in working order! read more

As a Durham native I was familiar with the Durham location and had tried their coffee several times. As someone who doesn't know anybody out here, I was worried about making the move and ultimately not finding a local coffee shop that would make me feel welcome. I was definitely a fan but this location is the bomb dot com! I actually learned from staff that this was their original location! How cool is that? I am so fortunate to have found this gem. We had to keep asking questions, and found out it was based on first come first serve, which we had to wait in order to sit inside. There were several seats outside, but it was definitely chilly. We went as a family on a Friday around noon. Let me just start by saying 'it's very dark inside', the kind of dark that'll take your eyes a while to adjust to after walking in from outside, but I loved it!! It's a bit different because you come in, grab a menu and seat yourself. However, when you're ready to order you walk up to the counter and pay then. The servers are simply AMAZING!!! Well made crêpes! The savory crepes are my favorite. This whole place had an amazing atmosphere, and very cool vibes. They are very obviously inclusive, and very community based. The drinks were amazing, so many options and such great presentations. I had an earl Grey Latte with lavender and vanilla. It was served at the perfect drinking temperature. Regular teas have cute little pots and self serve cups. The bathrooms were clean and have changing tables!!!! The plexi glass feeling in there was such a unique and cute idea. The bathroom shelf needs a plant. The front window plants are so beautiful and well taken care of. Always a bonus for me to see. Their is unique bold artwork everywhere that for sale by artist. My only complaint is it was very very loud. Granted it was packed, and a Sunday mid day experience, but the music was so so loud for me. Not super autistic/sensory friendly. If I come again I'll have to bring my noise canceling headphones. The tables are also super close together, and small, but with most crepe shops you expect that. First off, from the moment we walked up to the restaurant we were warmly greeted by every single employee who walked past us. It was really busy and packed inside but everyone was so kind and pointed us to the register to order. We were kind of confused about where to order and the workers were so nice when we asked them where to order and where to get menus, never acted annoyed or inconvenienced, amazing customer service! The place itself is really really cute and hip located in the heart of downtown Burlington. Really cute area for brunch and cute shopping nearby. Even though they were busy, they got our food and drinks out really fast. The food itself was really good too. There are good vegetarian options and the crepes are made really well. The coffee was also really really good. The espresso blend they use is perfect and so smooth. My only complaint would be that the potatoes were really disappointing. They were seasoned so well and just the perfect amount of spice but they were hard and undercooked. My side of potatoes were crisp on the outside but hard and undercooked inside and the potatoes in my crepe were also undercooked. read more

Off the hook yummy crepes! The coffee lattes were premium like what we tend to find in larger cities. The staff is super helpful and small town friendly but not over the top. It's a wonderful small town place like all of downtown Graham, but feels a little more upscale with small tables like you would find in a cosy space in a bigger city (versus a lot of the diner feel of this area). It's definitely southern American centric! I had the Phoenix Club... turkey, ham, bacon, and hoop cheese with spinach, blistered cherry tomatoes, house-made chipotle aioli and avocado. It was delicious. My wife had the Herbivore... blistered cherry tomatoes, marinated mushrooms, roasted red peppers, red onions, artichoke hearts, baby spinach, goat cheese. But she add an herbivore TO the crepe... country ham. Again, spectacular. I had the Honey Bourbon Cider. A hot drink made from NC Cider with house-made honey bourbon syrup. This is a gem... Great little gem in Graham. My parents live in Durham and I'm in GSO so this was a nice half way point to meet for breakfast and I've heard good things from friends who live more in the area! We were lucky enough to get a table right outside when we arrived, I've heard their wait can be quite long but our timing was good. Plenty of free street parking too! Their dog friendly too (outside) and even has a little watering bowl outside. We all ordered savory crepes and man were they filling!!! I loved my southern crepe with bacon added - smothered with gravy really hit the spot - there was so much filling in it I had to cut off some of the crepe because it was almost too much! My latte was a little tart even with the vanilla flavoring but coffee is def strong! My mom loves her peach pie chai! It's counter service so you just order at the counter and they bring out your food, coffees, etc but everyone was friendly and still attentive. Even one of the Chefs came out to check on us outside and ask how our crepes were. Then came back and cleared our table. Such a nice touch when either a chef or owner greets you which is what I've always loved about small town local spots! Press is great for both dine in and carry out. I've been to this establishment for brunch with a friend and when I was looking for a good place to write. They have WiFi for customers and ample seating. I was also able to find an accessible outlet for my laptop. My favorite item on the menu is the chick and the pig crepe, but they have a plethora of delicious savory crepes. After your crepe you can also have one of their sweet pastries. The prices are reasonable as well and it's a great location in downtown Graham . When I get carry out, I appreciate that they use more sustainable packaging. For instance the food box is made from compostable material and they use paper bags instead of plastic bags. read more

As to service, the people are nice, but they are not very good. I sent back a full plate of food, and the waitress did not ask me any questions and charged me for it.
