We often stop here after we've been in and around K-town. An after-meal pastry and usually some milk bread for later (great for toast or a grilled cheese). Grab a tray and tongs and try to grab only one thing. It's almost impossible to do. A good problem of course. We usually get a variety of small things for birthdays and holidays too. The cake is really good here. A lot of the desserts are delicious and also the drinks but the only problem is the parking. It's a little tight but overall it's really good. The prices have gone up just like anything else around here in Los Angeles. I was thinking of where I could get a light lunch and work for a bit. Thankfully, I remembered there was a Paris Baguette nearby--and I could always go for one of their sandwiches. The chicken caesar one is my go-to. Unfortunately, I had to go to a cafe across the lot afterwards since PB didn't have any outlets to charge my computer. They have a wide selection of pastries that I've been meaning to try, but overall it's a solid place for some quick bites. The employees were sweet and there is a bathroom with a passcode. The parking is the worst part given the lot is incredibly small, but I know there's free 1-hour street parking flanking the premises. read more

Been coming here for a while now. Never have I ever had a horrible experience like today. An employee from this establishment ran over my dad's foot with a cart. (I confirmed with two other staffs inside that she is an employee here) She didn't even apologize and her excuse was she asked to go through. 1 my dad can't see properly, sometimes I have to guide him through the store in order for him not to bump into people or things. 2 he can't hear properly, we have to speak a bit louder or repeat multiple times. I explain this to her and told her the least she could do is apologize to him and she just turn around and left. So I wonder , is this how you treat people with disability? Not only was he a customer, he's also human and is a human thing to take accountability and least apologize for what you did. Very upsetting. read more

Came here once in the morning, even thou its already a while ago but the employees in the morning always been nice. We understand there are problems sometimes especially when a lot of people coming in all at once, but the manager always provides us with cheerfulness, professionalism. Not just that, she and one of the guy with glasses always taking care of us a lot. Even thou its quite awhile ago but I still glad that I have such a great experience over here, I know there are some customer who pretty grumpy in the morning and putting quite a pressure but pls don't take that too personal, Y'all did a job that not many restaurant can do. I've been coming to this location for past few months to get pastry and coffee with my wife, i had to give a special big shoutout to the team here. Honestly, little things they do here that makes you want to write a review, My wife hopped back in line after she realized she forgot some items and the manager noticed and immediately came over to bring the item to the register to add to our order. My wife was adding more items and the staff was so patient answer all her questions, which pastry has which cream. lol. They packaged everything inside the box so beautifully. If you care to pay $50 for a Bundt cake disguised as a regular layered cake then this is a great place for you! I used to love this place but the prices are too high for what you're getting. The cakes are not even layered evenly. Flavor has definitely changed. Cake used to be moist and flavorful but now it's dry and lacking in flavor. I bought a blueberry chiffon cake and was totally disappointed. When you cut out a slice you see the middle of the cake smothered in a blob of whipped cream. And the layer wasn't even proportioned properly . Call it what it is and Bundt cake smothered in too much flavorless whipping cream. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the service was great. Desserts for Christmas dinner were being mailed to us via USPS and on Christmas Eve we realized that we had to come up with a back-up plan (they ended up being nearly a month late). Everywhere we checked was sold out for Christmas desserts until we checked Paris Baguette. We were able to place for the next day (Christmas Day) and they had all sorts of cute Christmas cakes to choose from. When we went to pick up the cake, the service was outstanding. They brought the cake out, gave us a calendar, candles, and a mask chain (because why not) and let us check the cake to make sure it was okay. The cake itself, their famous fruit cake, was delicious. I called and spoke to someone who said they couldn't tell us they were out of the items because it was a delivery. After I pointed out that it was a pickup NOT a delivery her new excuse was that they were too busy. After hanging up I checked my bank and they charged the full amount. I called back and was immediately sent to voicemail 3 times before she answered me again. She once again said they were too busy to tell us the items were missing and offer a replacement or refund. (4 people in the store is apparently "too busy" to provide customer service and NOT charge for what they didn't give.) Now I am 2 pastries short for the birthday guests and have to wait 2 days before ANY manager is available and then she will "review" the receipt to see if I get my money back. I went to this PB location today to pick up a sandwich and eneded up picking up a few pastries along with my sandwich. I picked up the egg salad sandwich from the sandwich section and picked up some pastries, one butter cream bread, one hot dog bread and one chocolate covered round croissant pastry. I picked all these up around 12:40 pm and ate the sandwich around 12:50 pm. The egg salad sandwich was nearly half frozen. the bread was hard and way too chewy. It seems like they used a day old bread and the egg salad was prepared the night before too. There was no softness that comes from freshly made bread & salad. It was solid cold! I tried the butter cream bread, same thing! the filling was probably made in the morning, but the bread was hard and flaky. This flaky is not the good kind, it was the dry kind. The hot dog pastry was the same. cold, cold cold! couldn't taste any freshness. It felt like it was kept in the freezer and left in the room temperature since morning, but still cold. Haven't tried the chocolate covered croissant pastry yet but so hugely disappointed. Will never be returning again. Try Coin de Rue across the store, it's pricier but their quality is far better this this PB location. read more

Today they were rushed and I get it, but they checked out all customers before me and even provided two coffees that were ordered after mine to customers. I understand mine was a latte and required different equipment, but my issue is with the lack of communication. It wasn't until I asked how much longer it would be that I was informed they were making mine next. And then when I realized the time I had to leave without my drink because I had to jump on a work call. When I asked them to void, I had to be the one to ask if they could systematically do it.
