I have had cancer twice and need to have teeth pulled, and this has affected me financially and so I have state insurance at this time. I have worked most of my life. Most dental offices I have called recently are rude, judgmental and unprofessional. They need to remember that even basic calls to a dental office are shared with others. Andersen Dental office shared information I needed today, and consequently I am referring others and my son, who just graduated pharmacy school, to Andersen Dental, as a future dental office to go to for their/his own teeth. :) I spoke with front office staff /insurance there and the two people I communicated with on the phone today were totally awesome and made my day. It is never fun to be ill, and Andersen Dental made me feel welcome even though my insurance is not covered at their office. Nice. But my son's insurance will be, and that of others I know. From the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted with friendliness and care. This was by far the best experience at a dentist's office I have ever had! We talked, laughed and laid out a dental plan for me. I've been to the office several times over the last few months getting several things repaired, both needed and proactive repairs. I called and said I'd recently had x-rays elsewhere, can I have them transferred and get a cleaning. They said yes. I must have said 5x I wanted to come in for a cleaning and I was completely unwilling to do a "meet and greet exam" and then have to come back another day for a cleaning .who has time for that??? The day before my cleaning I call to confirm and they tell me oh no. No cleaning for me, I have to do an exam first. After I explain this is opposite of what I've been told I tell them cancel my appointment I'm not coming in for an exam and X-rays when I had them done less than a month ago already. They call me later in the day saying now they can do both at the same time if I'll give them another chance. Strange how this wasn't communicated prior. I was told multiple times it's 2 appointments. They wanted me to come in at a new time, which I could not accommodate. I also imagine most people can't be expected to change their appointment time with roughly 18 hours notice. Do they not have awareness people have children and jobs? They seems apologetic and nice but i gave up and am going back to my old dentist who I don't care for but I don't want to wait another month for a cleaning.

I felt assured by the staff kindness and professionalism. Aldona the dental tech, was especially compassionate. My tooth broke off below the gum and it had been in pain for two weeks straight. I feared it might be infected. Dr. Juson was amazing. The whole process of numbing the gum and extraction went quickly and with very little discomfort. They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. They have a nice relaxing environment and have the capabilities of performing most dental services in-house. We would highly recommend.

That itself should've been a red flag. I assumed the dentist Emily Young had my best interest. I should've know at her lack of communication with me that she didn't. I told her I was aware of my gum disease and I know it's gotten worse. I expressed my concerns and let her know I wanted to get pregnant but was hesitant as I know my gum health affects the whole body. I was asked if I cared what my teeth looked like and I said no. I was then told that if I didn't care about cosmetic look that it should be "fine." As long as I kept up with my cleanings. I have deep pockets but they could clean them there. Unfortunately I was scheduled months out. Not a priority even though it progresses daily... I had gum detachment within two months of being seen here. While I was waiting for my scheduled cleaning. I was then told by another dentist how deep my pockets really are, referred to a specialist and told by specialist I could not get pregnant unless I wanted to put my life and child's at risk. To say I am hurt is an understatement. I've lost time, money and gained more dental trauma. In my opinion I say do not come here.

My husband and I have been coming here for 5+ years. Dr. Wood and the hygienists in my opinion are…read moreamazing. We have had fillings, crowns, wisdom teeth removal and periodontal deep cleaning. However, the insurance verification staff could use a lot of improvement. My husband and I have ALWAYS been under the periodontal maintenance plan which is a deep cleaning every 4 months instead of every 6 months. We were on a dental plan in 2023 that had no waiting period for these deep cleaning at only $125 per visit. But the insurance staff told me this plan was terrible and that I should upgrade it because it was too hard to bill the ala carte delta dental clear plan on their end. So I switched the plan in 2024 per their instructions. Well, now there is a 12 month waiting period and my husband and I are not covered for exact treatment plan that they gave us for deep cleanings every 4 months. We need to pay $200 out of pocket for the treatment plan that we were given. And now we are paying a high monthly dental premium for no reason because what we need isn't even covered. We should have stuck with our original clear delta dental plan. Do your due diligence and call and check your insurance on your own before going here. Or go somewhere else where you aren't given conflicting information about changing delta plants/etc.
