Finding a good dentist in the camas/Vancouver area is proving to be harder than passing the bar exam. I called and said I'd recently had x-rays elsewhere, can I have them transferred and get a cleaning. They said yes. I must have said 5x I wanted to come in for a cleaning and I was completely unwilling to do a "meet and greet exam" and then have to come back another day for a cleaning .who has time for that??? The day before my cleaning I call to confirm and they tell me oh no. No cleaning for me, I have to do an exam first. After I explain this is opposite of what I've been told I tell them cancel my appointment I'm not coming in for an exam and X-rays when I had them done less than a month ago already. They call me later in the day saying now they can do both at the same time if I'll give them another chance. Strange how this wasn't communicated prior. I was told multiple times it's 2 appointments. They wanted me to come in at a new time, which I could not accommodate. I also imagine most people can't be expected to change their appointment time with roughly 18 hours notice. Do they not have awareness people have children and jobs? They seems apologetic and nice but i gave up and am going back to my old dentist who I don't care for but I don't want to wait another month for a cleaning. read more

Today, I received a $200 bill nearly four months later. Upon emailing the office about canceling the invoice as per Dr. Julie's voicemail, they replied, stating that negative reviews impact their willingness to adjust the invoice. We've been patients here for several years, and even though we've moved a good bit away, we still choose to drive over an hour each direction to be seen here. Why? HFD has the nicest staff from Angie in Reception to Tonja who has taken care of my smile since i arrived. Dr Julie always takes time to meet with us and we are always made to feel welcome. From Angie, expertly managing the front desk, billing, and making sure the patients are taken care of, to Dr. Julie and her assistant, Jenn, who are always compassionate, professional, skillful, and extremely kind. Here you will get both the maintenance care and treatments at the highest level of quality. I got referred out for a root canal (on a tooth with a large 15 yo filling that was now hurting) and had a wonderful experience at the provider Dr. Julie recommended. When I came back to Dr. Julie for a crown, it was marvelous too. The procedure was quick and thorough. Jenn made sure the temporary crown fit just right and gave me instructions for taking care of it while the permanent crown is being made. I am a nervous dental patient, but here I trust fully that the medical staff will take care of my needs. There is absolutely no pain at Harmony Family Dentistry. Best dentist I have ever been too. I have severe anxiety going to the dentist and having my teeth touched and every time I go for my routine cleaning, the staff is so wonderful. They are compassionate and caring and take the time to make sure I am ok throughout the cleaning. They have up to date equipment that make the dentist visit quick. It sounds strange to give a dentist a 5 star rating, especially since I hate the dentist. I do believe that doctor Julie and her staff deserve this as they are the only reason I keep going back. The staff is friendly and professional and the atmosphere is inviting. Doctor Julie actually came in on her day off to take care of an issue I had and was very professional about it. It relieved me not having to go through the weekend worrying about my tooth. It is really hard to give a dentist a 5 star rating due to the fact it is a dentist.... however, I felt the need to do so. They treat you like family and everyone is professional. The atmosphere is relaxing as it can be. I had an emergency and called the line. Dr. Julie showed up on her day off to repair my tooth so that I could make it through the weekend without any pain or worries about more damage. I have never liked going to the dentist, and I doubt that will ever change but at least I don't dread it as much with Harmony as I used to. I started coming here after I moved to the area and needed to find a dentist. I have never been very good at going and usually quite anxious about the experience. Dr. Julie and her entire staff are wonderful and help put you at ease. I actually make my routine appointments and am keeping up on my dental health. Everyone in the office genuinely cares and is so helpful. I read in another review about how they are not trying to sell you something like happens with many other dentists. I agree with this completely. I have had experiences at other places where I have a long list of things to tackle, some of which were not necessary. Amazing! This is coming from someone who hates dentists. All of the staff were welcoming and they do their absolute best to make you comfortable. Cindy is an incredible dental hygienist who is very thorough and dedicated to making the patient comfortable. I like that they take their time here, not just rush you out the door to fill some sort of a quota. Dr. Julie was wonderful as well- great sense of humor, excellent and explaining what is going on and what needs to be done, and she treats her staff with respect which is important to me. The last time I went to this office the hygienist was so rude to me. As soon as I left and got out to my car I was in tears. My husband and I really wanted a baby but were having trouble getting pregnant so when they asked if there was a chance I could be pregnant I said "yes, a small chance" she sounded as if she thought I was lying and actually started asking questions about why I thought I might or might not be pregnant and made me go into detail about my medical problems. How insensitive can you be! She preceded to talk to one of her colleges right infrount of me as if I wasn't there and said that she should just do the X-rays anyway sounding condescending and made a smart remark that I can't avoid X-rays forever. Anyway I'm glad they didn't do the X-rays because I WAS pregnant!!! I now have a beautiful healthy baby boy who defied the odds! Needless to say I'm not going back to that office (even though I really liked Dr. Robbins) read more
