I made a recent visit to this Presto Pasta (in Simi Valley, California) for dinner with my family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside was clean and the landscaping was well maintained. The entrance was also very clean and inviting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. After just stepping inside, I quickly looked around and saw several folks enjoying their meals. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This appeared to be a clean and pleasant place to eat dinner together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My recent visit here was my first time ever visiting any Presto Pasta location, so I was unfamiliar with what to expect. To me, Presto Pasta seems to be a midpoint between a fast-food restaurant and a fine-dining restaurant. Customers order at the counter first, then sit down with a table number identifier. Customers can then choose from a selection of drinks available at the fountain soda dispenser. Just a short time after we ordered and got our drinks, our food was delivered to our table on real plates with real eating utensils. The food was delicious, and the quality was noticeably greater than any fast-food restaurant. As their name suggests, the primary specialty of this restaurant chain is various pasta meals, and these are made quickly. I immediately thought of a comparison between this Presto Pasta location and Olive Garden. My meal at Presto Pasta was excellent. It was a little less expensive than Olive Garden, but more expensive than at a fast-food restaurant. Again, the quality of my meal at this Presto Pasta was far greater than at a fast-food restaurant, but not quite as good as Olive Garden. Our meals came out very quick, much faster than any meal I have ever ordered at Olive Garden. So in addition to good meals at dinnertime, Presto Pasta would also probably be a better place to eat good food at lunchtime when you need to return to work after lunch. I had a wonderful meal here, and the staff was friendly and professional. The only thing I found that was odd and a bit annoying to me was something that Presto Pasta seems to do that is similar to what some other restaurants do. That is, upon paying, you are asked how much of a tip you will leave. Keep in mind that this tip is given before you know the quality of the food and before you see the quality of the service. To me, knowing how much of a tip to leave is a determination that cannot be made until AFTER the customer has just experienced good service (or not) and they have just tasted wonderful food (or not). The owners of this Presto Pasta should really consider changing this default tip request when a customer is ordering. Other than that one annoyance, I would definitely consider returning here for great service and wonderful food.

Tried Presto Pasta for the first time and ordered a variety for the family to get a solid feel for the menu: spicy marinara fettuccine, spicy cajun penne, a meatball sandwich, bbq chicken pizza, and a Caesar salad. Overall, the experience landed firmly in the "just okay" category--nothing particularly memorable, but not disappointing either. The spicy marinara fettuccine (6.3/10) delivered what you'd expect from a standard marinara with a mild kick. It leaned slightly salty but was otherwise straightforward and familiar. The spicy Cajun penne (6.9/10) was one of the better dishes of the bunch. It had a decent depth of flavor with a balanced spice level--nothing overpowering, but enough to make it enjoyable. The meatball sandwich (5.2/10) was the weakest item. The meatballs were on the drier side, and while the flavor was acceptable, the overall build didn't work well. The bread-to-filling ratio felt off, causing it to fall apart easily, and the cheese had an overly rubbery texture. The BBQ chicken pizza (6.8/10) was solid. It had good flavor and was enjoyable to share, though the portion size was on the smaller side for a group. Surprisingly, the standout was the Caesar salad (8/10)--a simple dish executed well. It had a great balance of ingredients, consistent texture, and a flavorful dressing that made it the most satisfying item on the table. Final thoughts: Presto Pasta offers a dependable but unremarkable dining experience. While nothing truly stood out as exceptional, the meal was consistent across the board, with the Caesar salad being the unexpected highlight. It's a decent option if you're in the area, but not necessarily a destination spot.

We are regular Presto Pasta customers. We visit a couple times a month. So my kids and I know what their typical servings look like. Tonight we ordered a kids Fettuccini Alfredo and a kids spaghetti. The plate with the Alfredo was significantly smaller than usual. So much so that I asked them to make sure it was correct. Manager Samantha said they are pre measured portions and that there was no mistake. Here is a picture of the two kid plates side by side.

Second time eating here and each time was pretty good. My daughter ordered the spaghetti and meatball kids meal and it was a lot of food. She really enjoyed the spaghetti but not the meatball - too much breading so it was mushy and you couldn't really taste meat. The kids meal comes with a drink, a cookie and a toy (you get a coin to put in a machine that dispenses little toys) at a really good price. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken off the menu and paid the dollar extra for the zoodles (healthier option). The zoodles, Alfredo sauce and chicken were good, garlic bread was really good. You can also build your own pasta (pick noodle, pick sauce, pick protein, etc.) so I may try that next time. They have one of those soda machines where you can pick a soda and add a flavor (cherry, vanilla, etc.) which is always fun. The cashier was really helpful with the menu and they also walk around to check on you. It's a far comparison to Italian food, but for a quick, inexpensive dinner, this is not a bad place to go.

I went for a brunch with some family last week food is delicious, the girl in the front is so nice, food was ready very quickly that's why I like this place cause if you're hungry your food comes out no more than 20 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is totally clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The price is very reasonable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't go to the restroom this time but before I used to go and you had to ask for a key I hope they have already fixed it cause it was kinda annoying when you where in a hurry and they were busy and you have to wait[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

My first visit, which didn't turn out good. After posting my complaint about their pizza, I was contacted by management. They gave me a gift card. I decided to try this place again. I got a salad bowl and Lasagna. After eating it, it was great. However, I wouldn't buy their pizza again, but I would try their other stuff. I'll visit this place again in the future, and so I'm changing my rating to a five star. Because they were willing to fix the problem immediately. read more

Presto pasta is very delicious! I am obsessed with the angel hair pasta, with the robust tomato sauce and the Alfredo mixed. They give you a delicious piece of garlic bread to go with it and I also get the lunch special with the salad. I highly recommend this place. It has something for everyone. read more

When you get to satisfy a craving, and it hits the spot, how lucky can you be? While I was sitting at my desk working this afternoon a hankering for spaghetti with meat sauce kept gnawing away at my taste buds. Then the thought of a chopped Italian salad crept in. Dear Hubby made the run over to Presto Pasta to pick up dinner, and I am so grateful that he did. i haven't ordered their chopped salad in a while, and it's even better than I remembered. Robust salami, fresh cherry tomatoes, savory artichoke hearts, crisp cucumber slices, red onion bits, chewy garbanzo beans and super tangy Italian dressing over perfectly chopped Romaine lettuce. It's a symphony of tastes. Let's not forget the kalamata olives, either. I added my own dairy-free parmesan cheese. All so wonderful! I'm about to hand off the generously portioned salad after finishing half to DH, and then I'll move on to enjoying the spaghetti and garlic bread. All so good! Much as I like to eat at the restaurant, tonight being able to have this at home works out really well. read more

We had lunch catered yesterday from them. Food was so great. Salads were crisp and veggies were perfect. Food was hot and ready to go. Everyone in the office kept talking though the day how nice it was. This place will be the top of the list for our catered lunches. So much better than just pizza. read more

Always a great experience eating here. Pizza, pasta, and salads are all consistently good. Garlic bread is delicious, I'll usually order an additional piece even if my entree comes with some. Staff are always friendly and seem happy to work there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is clean and well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a Coke Freestyle machine, which is fun for those who enjoy a cold soda with their meal. They have a pretty decent lunch special too! read more

I absolutely love Presto pasta. It's one of my favorite Italian places to eat when I don't feel like cooking lol it's delicious. It's fresh. I tried something new today. I usually get the marinara pasta with Italian sausage and Parm but today I got buttered Angel hair pasta with garlic bread instead I know that something basic you would probably make it home, but I wanted to try it and see if it was good and it was really tasty. It was quite good. The service was really good. The staff were very friendly and overall I highly recommend I've been eating at Presto pasta for many years as long as I can remember it's delicious. Love this place! The Pasta is always good! My favorite thing to get here is the Chicken Cajun Penne! It always hits the spot! The staff is always polite and very helpful. I've never had a bad experience here and the food is always amazing! I've also had the Shrimp Parmigiana Pasta here as well and it was very good! The restaurant is always clean there's really nothing bad I can say. If you're ever craving some pasta & spaghetti, this is the place to go! read more

Presto Pasta has been a convenient and tasty go to for me. I'm a creature of habit so I'm ordering the meat lasagna and a side salad. Portion of lasagna is healthy and tasty; the side salad always fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are tables and booths if you'd like to eat in, restaurant is clean and very rarely do I find service lacking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Presto food is often more tasty than local restaurants who charge more for similar items. And it's within walking distance! read more

Best Italian Food for the money!!! The service is unparalleled super friendly. They will make any custom pasta dish you can wish for. Haven't dine-in yet but the inside has a nice atmosphere. It's our go-to when we're too tired to make anything. So when in doubt, this place never fails. read more

I was here from out of town. I love the concept of pasta to go, I love pasta! Lots of parking, clean establishment, friendly staff, decent portions, a little pricey but not surprising. I give this place 3 stars on my husband's behalf because he really enjoyed the chicken Parmesan sandwich. I ordered the chicken Marsala and garlic noodles. I was not a fan, the chicken Marsala was too sweet for me, I in fact don't recall having a sweet taste at other places, I tried covering it in Parmesan Cheese and crushed peppers but still couldn't get passed the sweet taste, hubby ate it lol. The garlic pasta was super simple, tons of garlic and olive oil and that was it, the garlic bread was ok but you only get a tiny slice and I'm not sure if it only comes with certain pastas but if I ordered two I would expect both to be accompanied by garlic bread. read more

I love this place, the food is great, the staff is extremely helpful and kind, and the vibe in Presto Pasta is relaxed and calm. I go here to eat a lot and my order(when I get food to go) has only been messed up twice. I never got chicken on my salad but I got a free giftcard since the order was messed up for a free chicken salad! :) Otherwise, this place is amazing, and I think my order was only messed up because Presto Pasta was very busy and I don't blame them, but the problem is resolved now thanks to the helpful staff! The food here is flavorful and delicious, I love it here. read more

This is a great fast casual chain which the very tasty food. The service is very friendly and fast. My favorite is eggplant parm and my husband gets the Caesar salad with chicken. We love the chicken piccata with pasta and Alfredo sauce and would order it all the time but it's not on our health-nut plan, LOL. One option is to sub out the pasta and get veggies instead. Great for takeout, and last we ate there (during the pandemic) they had a few tables for outdoor seating so could bring our dog. read more

Service: We had called in and made a reservation ahead of time to make sure we could get a table. We got to the restaurant 10 minutes before our reservation and the host had somehow already crossed out my name, although that happened, they still had a table ready for us and we were seated within about a minute. The overall vibe that we got from our server was a little odd. She checked on us sporadically and it just felt that we were getting treated a little differently than others. With that being said, the bus boy was extremely professional and helpful. He brought out our food in a clean and calm manner. He was easier to get a hold of compared to our server and it felt that he was always willing and wanting to help.

You'll hear many patrons describe this restaurant as a hidden gem. Believe them. From our observation, reservations are highly desirable and may prove necessary for weekend nights. The only seatings available when we called a day earlier were at 4:30 or after 7:00 PM. We took the earlier, and frankly are glad we did. We arrived at their unassuming storefront location as the first patrons of the day, were warmly greeted and immediately seated. From this moment forward, my wife and I agreed: If anyone hopes to run a highly successful small restaurant, Bella's Bistro is the template. Inside, the ambiance was tasteful with gentle background music at the absolutely perfect tempo and volume to allow for conversation. We found the furnishings, tableware and restroom immaculate. Fresh flowers and a candle adorned each table, and the decorations for Valentine's Day were just the right tone, conveying appeal without being garish. Kudos to the staff for getting it right on all of the above. Though I generally set expectations low for the wine list or bartending at a small establishment, Bella's features a diverse wine list and specialty cocktails that pair very well with their menu. Of particular note was the superb crafting of cocktails during our visit - again, exceeding our expectations. It was during cocktail service that we noticed the full-service bar tucked in the rear corner of the restaurant, offering barstool seating and counter service for those who may be so inclined. We shared a nicely prepared caesar salad, while enjoying the basket of varied breads. While refrigerated butter pats were provided in the basket, it would have been a tad easier and more appealing if a small container of whipped butter had been offered instead. Our entrees included their homemade ravioli as well as chicken parmigiana, the latter included a large perfectly crafted portion of chicken accompanied by perfectly prepared spaghetti. To say this restaurant knows how to make and served great pasta is in understatement, with the ravioli a choice to be savored. A simple cheesecake dessert topped off the evening. We met with Maria multiple times, visited the restaurant on three separate occasions, and were told we had a private patio room reserved for the event. Based on those assurances, our family moved forward with planning a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Then, only a month before the event, we were suddenly told they could no longer accommodate us because it was a "busy hour." How do you tell a family they have a private space reserved for a 100th birthday, allow them to spend months planning around it, and then pull the rug out from under them at the last minute? This wasn't a casual dinner reservation--it was a milestone celebration that can never be recreated. What makes this even more disappointing is that my grandmother immigrated from Italy at 13 years old and specifically wanted to celebrate her 100th birthday here. That opportunity has now been taken away because management apparently decided that maximizing revenue during a busy time was more important than honoring a commitment they had already made. The ownership and management should be embarrassed by how this was handled. If they were unable or unwilling to host the event, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of leading us on for months. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect for customers turned what should have been a joyful family celebration into a stressful scramble to find another venue. If you're considering this restaurant for an important event, be aware that even after multiple meetings and what you believe is a confirmed arrangement, they may decide to cancel when it becomes more convenient for them. Our family will never trust this establishment again.

Small and cozy, cute cottage-core hedgehog figurines with mushrooms adorn the entrance table where all things hedgehog are displayed. It's the small touches here that show what thought was put into this place; like fresh strawberry mint water (or other fruit water offered) and always soft French jazz bossanova playing in the background. The service is amazing, despite never seeming to have a lull- there's always a good stream of people at any hr of the day filtering in. So let's get to the food. My family has been multiple times now, and Every pastry was a sheer delight. Not too sweet! Just right. The pastry chef making these has meticulously crafted a curated array of fun unique options that seem to change often. Drinks offerings are organic drip coffee, teas, matcha and also hot Belgium chocolate or iced Belgium chocolate. Things we tried: Iced strawberry matcha with homemade strawberry jam Iced Chai milk tea Lemon brioche Strawberry curd brioche Curry ball (crispy outside delicious spiced lentil inside) Maple pecan croissant Cherry danish Pear danish Curry pie Chocolate orange silk pie Every one was stunning. This is an adorable date idea, cute morning or mid day treat, or for kids- I brought my nephew and he can't stop raving about it.

The place is kept well maintained and clean. Customer service is always fantastic. The menu offers a nice variety of items including pizzas and wraps. I love their hummus. However, they charge extra for sauces. Also, I am not a fan of the house sauce. Ordering online from their website is always easy, and my orders are always ready on time! My family and I will definitely keep coming here for food.

I was disgusted with this place once I meet the owners I went in and a very nice girl took my order and i pay she gave me my drink and food wind then the owner walks over and said kitchens closed it was 10 mins till 9 and he was very mean and rude too the employee and got all mar at her for taking my order then his boyfriend comes over and started being rude too her they tell her too give me my money back and told I had too leave cause they are. Closed. And they are just rude and two very disrespectful people that don't care about there employees and there customers and ssince had people I that saw this happen I will be the first lawsuit. will. deal with and I know my rights and they will learn how too treat people with respect read more

I entered the location at 8:15pm on 5/11/2019. I didn't get acknowledged, and I was ignored not only by the cashier but the manager as well. They wouldn't even look at me, but they greeted the kid behind me and took his order before me!! Really!?! At that point I left without ordering anything. This was my first and last time at this location in Simi Valley.. If I do choose to go back to any Presto Pasta, I'll go back to the Camarillo location even though it's farther away. I ended up going to the "Smart&Final" store in the same parking lot. I bought the same items I would have bought at Presto Pasta for half the $$ thanks for the savings Presto Pasta !!! :) read more

Walter gives amazing service. 10/10. He greets people as they enter, makes eye contact, performs his services with a smile, stands up straight, and has genuinely great energy. Walter is clearly a team player and serves as a great example of what defines a leader. Consistent! Unwavering consistent. If you want it the way you always want it with no surprises this is your place. Dollar for Dollar this is good American Italian! It's not gonna be South Italy but it is enjoyable. It's a jolly place. Went today and they were a little understaffed and a little slow for the first time ever. Trent was on the ball and dispensed a $5 credit with the mildly tardy meal which was unexpected. Viva La Presto Pasta! read more

I love pasta. Especially presto pasta. I've been here several times. I either get the chicken piccata or spaghetti with meat sauce. My husband usually gets ravioli of tortellini with meat sauce. Their meat sauce is incredible. This was the first time we ate in at the restaurant. The servers walked around continuously and asked if everything was tasting good. The restaurant is pretty big and offers several booths and tables. read more

I love this place so much. I took my husband here for the first time ever and he tried the chicken parmigiana and he said it was wayyyyy better then the Cheesecake Factory one. I had the Cajun chicken penne and it was soooo gooddd I loved it. Their ravioli is amazing 10/10 read more
